Sadly I realized that the Sichuan cold noodles tasted very differently from before. I customized with added spicy and added numbness. But the Sichuan pepper oil flavor covered all the other flavors (spicy, salt, sweet). It was either due to the company changed the recipe big time, or somehow they missed some sauce today. To make things worse, the added noodles were served hot - i recall a while back the added noodles for Sichuan cold noodles were served cold with seasoning. Anyway overall experience wasn't close to my fond memory about Sichuan cold noddles from Mian. I still finished the noodles regardless. Other than this dish, other dishes turned out pretty good. And the waiter was friendly as before. Overall dining experience is good, but I probably won't come back to this branch at West Adams because of the Sichuan cold noodles not the same as before.
