Took my family here recently and ordered one of the combo. The Louisiana sauce was good but the serving wasn't as big as I expected. Ordered the lobster roll and calamari and they have about 75% French Fries in the servings. Looked like I ordered French Fries as the main dish. Too bad coz it was our first time there. To start, I'm from the South Bay, where Boiling Crab and Kickin Crab really set the tone for Cajun seafood. Let me tell you that this Bag O'Crab can definitely compete. The service was quick , the seafood was cooked perfectly and the sauces were all amazing & flavorful! I had what was the equivalent to a "whole shabang" which is all their sauces into one at medium heat with King crab and head off shrimp. (My husband isn't a fan of the head on shrimps ). This bag did not disappoint, the shrimp were tender and the King crab was fullll of meat. We also had a side of Cajun fries, which had its own little kick to it . The service we received with the restaurant full was impeccable. The price was right for what we had gotten. You get cheap seafood you'll taste cheap seafood and this place has none of that! 5/5 because the price matched the product. Love bag o' crab! When I am in need of spice I come here! I recommend: Cajun (medium-mild) shrimp (head off) with added sausage in a bag. The sausage adds a nice kick and is absolutely my favorite. About the food: I haven't tried their Combos yet because I find it too much for my wife and I, that's why I only order their "Get Down & Messy Bag". One order of it is just enough for two person which is good for me as my wife & I wasn't really a voracious eater. It is really tasty! I read one of the review here that it is full of MSG, with due respect, I don't taste it that much. Maybe he's talking about the butter because the butter makes the food tasty & oily. Too much MSG can kill a person and I don't think this restaurant wants to do that. I've tasted different cajun recipes including other big restaurants and my friends cajun style recipe, and this place is not so different compared to other cajun places. So, going to Sacramento, San Francisco and beyond just to eat cajun menus, I'll just order here. I'm a pescetarian guy now, I don't want to talk about their sausages because I don't really eat one anymore. The regular & cajun fries never disappoint me. I love the taste of the garlic bread. To close my review: We have different tastes in every food out there. I can't change what you've experienced or compared what I had but I just want to say is that, you should try this place. Now I have always been a HUGE fan of Boiling crab and I would drive all the way to Sacramento to get my fix but LET ME TELL YOU I won't be doing that anymore. Oh my goodness everything about this meal was enjoyable. We ordered Cajun fries and 2 pounds of shrimp, Atomic style, medium spice. The fries are amazing so good and I love the seasoning they use for the Cajun fries. The shrimp are a really good size and not dry. THE SAUCE! THE SAUCE is delicious. I like eating at the Fairfield location so I was happy to see that there was one built in Vacaville, closer to where I hand out the most. I was having a craving for some Bag'O Crab so decided to give this place a shot. I got there around 8:30pm, and they close at 9. I ordered 1lb of Mussels, and 1lb of shrimp with sausage and a side of garlic noodles. They were quick about getting me my food, took it home... and it wasn't my order! I paid $40 for my food, but they made an expensive mistake with mine. I ended up with someones elses King Crab legs and shrimp, with all the sides (Corn, sausage and potatoes) and garlic noodles. They ordered quite a bit too, the reciept on the outside of the bag was mine for sure though. I had considered bringing it back, but what would they do? They wouldn't give it to the other customer because I had opened it, and even if I did it'd be cold. I decided to keep it and try the food out.. The garlic noodles were bland and mushy. I'm not even sure there were any garlic in it. The shrimp and the king crab legs were very good though. I'm not sure what the sauce was though, and I usually get mild garlic butter, and what I received was some kind of spicy roux. Very good! I ordered a lobster roll with the lemon pepper fries. Boy what a treat! Really delicious.. The fries were so crisp and hot even after I got home they were still just so hot and good. Despite a lot of awfully rude customers and pressure from DoorDashers and an absolutely packed house on NYE, the staff did their absolute best, were super nice if a little overwhelmed. The lobster was perfect, the shrimp and mussels were delicious, and ironically the best part is always the potatoes! 5 stars for the food. I was not expecting much having read some poor reviews on the Fairfield location. I forget which combo seafood boil we had but it included the Dungeness crab, shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. Because we were familiar with the other sauces, we went for the Asian sauce- we were extremely happy we did. It was similar to Szechuan and lit our Tate's buds up, literally and figuratively. There was 1 thing I would minus a star for, but, being that it was a soft opening, I am more forgiving- they ran out of clams. Aside from that, this place is a gem considering the lack of great seafood options here in Vacaville and I'd love to keep them here. I do foresee that, once business gets boomin', this place will get crowded quick and there will be long wait times for dining in- it's rather small inside with limited seating, especially for larger parties. read more

The lemonade was so good my brother downed a can by himself and felt so powerful he crushed it with his bare hands. He's only 8, but great service with Rosa can be really empowering. Jokes aside, the On Fire (spiciest option) isn't that spicy. I would say its spice level is equivalent to the Medium spice, but has a more bitter, peppery flavor. I would recommend the Medium spice because of this -- same level of spice but the flavor is much better. In comparison to Boiling Crab, Boiling Crab's Medium spice actually has a nice kick. Bag O Crab's spice level is more mild in comparison. Flavor wise, I got the atomic sauce and it was great! I also recommend the cajun fries too. read more

So we left.
