I finally got to try Bagel Boss after always missing out on opening hours. The bagels had a nice chew with a good variety offered. Besides the bagel sandwiches, I got loose bagels which were everything egg, french toast and poppy. Something I want to try next time is the bialy. There was plenty of seating inside including a smaller interior patio area. Everything was clean and oriented in a good space flow. I liked that they put the coffee and utensils station as a little "divider" between the seating and counter line. There was also a little pegboard with some medals for Bagelfest hanging. I looked it up and they actually placed in each category for the Bagelfest West edition. If you're in the area, definitely check out Bagel Boss.

After driving by it so many times I caved and stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Let me get my negatives out the way first * the price is high, it is $6.25 for a bagel with cream cheese * they overcharged me a bagel and when I tried to ask them they said yes that's the price for a bagel with cream cheese. But they charged me $2.75 for a bagel plus $6.25 for another bagel with cream cheese when I only wanted the one with cream cheese. * the table inside aren't the cleanest, they had crumbs all over. Now were the bagels good?! Yes they were! I did appreciate the variety of spreads that they had. I only tired the blueberry cream cheese but it was delicious, it had blueberries in it and wasn't overly sweet! I old tried their bacon, 2 eggs and cheese and the big boss man! These were very filling but I do wish they came with some spread! Next time I'll just pickup bagels and make my own sandwiches at home as I can't justify $46 for 2 bagel sandwiches, one bagel with cream cheese and an unwanted extra bagel!

Stopped by for a bagel with lox. The menu screens weren't working so we had to ask the staff the options. I just wanted a bagel with light cream cheese and sliced lox but they suggested that would be too expensive and offered getting the lox cream cheese with scallion. They were pretty busy on a 10a Sunday morning! We heard they had an 1.5hr wait earlier due to selling out all their bagels! Only complaint was their specialty seemed to be either bagels with schmear or breakfast bagels with egg; I guess lox bagels aren't popular at this location! Plenty of outdoor seating.

Great spot! Fun owner, great space for people to gather, lovely bagels and smear. From my understanding, this is a New Jersey brand and the owner opened a franchise spot in LA. And the bagels come fresh from there. There is the indoor space with some tables, window seating. Outdoor seating just in front of the place (two tables). And an outdoor patio with long tables/benches and tables. Parking: residential street parking. Overall, I keep visiting back! Such a lovely time always

Still like this place - I think the have the best bagels and cream cheese around Stopped in and got three bagels and a container of cream cheese. They were busy finishing up some orders but as soon as someone was done they came right over and took my order

Recently tried BagelBoss. They were out of sesame so I tried an everything bagel, toasted, open face, vegan veggie cream cheese, tomato and cucumber. It was really good! The girl at the counter was really great and food was served fast! I'll definitely be back! Thank you very much for offering vegan cream cheese! I noticed you have impossible sausage available on the menu - how about going the distance and offering JustEgg along with vegan cheddar? I'd definitely come by more often then!

This is my go-to spot for a gluten-free bagel! They have a few options, but I usually stick with the everything bagel. They do sometimes run out, so I try to go earlier in the day to make sure I get one.I also appreciate that they can make any of their bagel sandwiches gluten-free. There is some cross-contamination, which they're upfront about, but that's not an issue for me personally. The service has always been friendly and quick, and I love that they send out BOGO coupons--that's actually how I discovered this place! It's street parking only, but I've never had trouble finding a spot nearby. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, though I usually grab mine to go. They have a big variety of bagel flavors and spreads, so there's something for everyone. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're gluten-free (or even if you're not)!

Bagel Boss is exquisite! The bagels are amazing! The people are so kind!! We gotta an everything bagel with cream cheese and lox and an egg everything bagel with cream cheese and these bagels were wonderful. The cream cheese spread selection is bounteous and they are really so kind here. They usually have a decent line but it goes by fast. They're always playing pretty chill music which is appreciated and they always have the nicest staff members working here. I like how much seating they have including their seats outside. It's a great vibe. I recommend bagel boss through and through! Espppp for bagel spots in the valley!!

I visited around noon on a Saturday. They offer both indoor seating and a nice outdoor patio to enjoy your food. They serve breakfast until 1:30pm. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel on a cinnamon raisin bagel, it was good! They have a variety of bagel options, flagels (flat bagels), and burritos. A good spot to check out if you're craving bagels!

I was craving a breakfast bagel and Bagel Boss delivered! This hefty bagel was packed with 2 eggs, bacon, cheese, and I also added hashbrown! So so delicious that even half of the bagel was filling. Very casual and chill spot with good service for a great bagel.

The lasagna is delicious, and the noodles melt in your mouth. I like it because it's not overly heavy like some other lasagnas. It comes with two piecea of garlic bread. During my last visit, one was a bit burnt on the edges. The pastrami sandwich is really tasty, and the bread is soft but still has a nice chew. It usually comes with marinated diced tomatoes, but I always ask for them on the side. If you dine in, the sandwich comes with two deli sides. On my last visit, I got the potato salad and marinated artichokes and both were great. The potato salad was creamy, and the artichokes were super flavorful. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu, and it was a bit underwhelming. It had a slightly gritty texture. Since it's imported from Italy, I had high expectations, but I'm guessing it's shipped frozen, which might be why it didn't taste fresh. I wouldn't order it again. They also sell Italian cookies and gelato. The cookies are good, especially the raspberry ones. The gelato is really refreshing. I recommend mixing mango and raspberry if you like something tart, or trying the tiramisu flavor if you want something sweeter. It's a cafeteria-style deli, so you order at the counter, pay, and then find a table. They also have outdoor seating.

On Sunday afternoon, May 31th today, my mom, one of my brothers, and I went to Magnolia Car Wash in…read moreBurbank to get my moms car washed. While we were waiting, my mom suddenly became very hungry. Both she and I tend to get low blood sugar, so when hunger hits, we usually need to eat something right away. Since the car was being washed, we looked around for a place within walking distance and happened to discover this small Italian deli nearby. They offered sandwiches and pasta dishes. Since both my mom and I love pasta, we decided to have lunch here. We ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce (no meat). When ordering, we were asked whether we wanted penne or spaghetti, and we chose spaghetti. My brother ordered the Eggplant Lasagna. Both dishes came with garlic bread, and the garlic bread was absolutely delicious. The spaghetti was so good, and the Eggplant Lasagna was equally tasty. The restaurant itself was very small, but it felt like discovering a hidden gem. I noticed photos of Hollywood stars displayed on the walls and wondered if they were pictures of celebrities who had visited the restaurant over the years. According to the information displayed inside, the restaurant has been operating since 1971, which explains why it feels like such a long-standing neighborhood favorite. The staff members were all very friendly, and I left an additional cash tip. My mom kindly treated us to lunch today using her credit card, and I am very grateful. There were, however, two downsides to our visit. First, I used the restroom and noticed that it had a bad smell there. Second, after checking in on Yelp, I noticed that the restaurant's posted closing time was 3:00 PM. We arrived around 2:30 PM for a late lunch. My brother was delayed because he had to pick up the car from the car wash and didn't arrive until around 2:45 PM. While we were still eating, one of the staff began putting chairs up and cleaning the dining room. By 3:00 PM, it felt as though they were waiting for customers to leave. The front door was left open, and the atmosphere made us feel somewhat rushed. I asked one of the staff members what time they closed, and he confirmed that they closed at 3:00 PM. We quickly packed up our remaining garlic bread to go and left shortly afterward. On a positive note, when I asked for a to-go box, they were very friendly and carefully packed everything for us. Overall, the food was delicious, and the staff was kind. However, I didn't particularly enjoy having the chairs put away and the dining room cleaned while customers were still eating. It would have been nicer if someone had simply let us know that the restaurant closed at 3:00 PM. We would have gladly finished up and left on our own. Despite that issue, I still enjoyed the food very much and was happy to discover this hidden neighborhood gem. I love Italian food, and I've dined at many upscale Italian restaurants with elegant atmospheres over the years. While this place is small and simple, the food was truly excellent and full of flavor.

As a loyal customer of this establishment for over two decades, I have consistently visited the…read moredeli and meats department at least once a month. However, I am compelled to rate this establishment one star due to a particularly unpleasant experience with a female deli employee whose first name begins with the letter "J." Despite my frequent visits, the overall customer service in the deli and meats department has declined. The season butchers have been replaced with individuals lacking the necessary experience and customer courtesy that were previously present. Over the past three months, I have encountered the same issues with this particular employee. It is important to note that the fee charged for slicing a Tri Tip into a carton container is not the primary concern. The issue lies in the employee's behavior and attitude, specifically their unwillingness to properly wrap the sliced meat. This has occurred on multiple occasions, most recently at the checkout counter when the cashier pull the foil-wrapped package from the plastic bag causing the juices of the meat to spill all over the counter. This has happened to me every time this employee has served me. The Tri Tip sliced meat is dry and devoid of juices due to this careless employee's failure to wrap the meat carefully. It is imperative that this situation be addressed. Management should provide this employee, "J," with proper training on how to wrap sliced food correctly. Additionally, it is crucial the ambiance that all employees, including the deli and butcher employees, maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor. A salutation is always appreciated. Despite these concerns, the BBQ remains outstanding as always.

"Grandma's Hands" sums up the comfort many of us associate with Grandma's cooking. The owners and employees are doing a five-star job at forwarding that kind of comfort to the community and customers here. First of all, everything is freaking deliciousness! Admire the always-on-point "People Love Us On Yelp" sign as you arrive. The free parking lot offers nice and ample parking spaces for disabled customers as well as tables upon arrival which can comfortably accommodate wheelchairs. Now don't get me wrong, I love fancy gastronomy featuring tres Nouveau French culinary techniques just like you but I absolutely ADORE borscht, stuffed cabbage and plav equally. (Even more sometimes!) I've been shopping here and picking up takeout here for a long time. My experiences have only been better over the years. The discounts can be incredible and I appreciate sale-priced groceries in today's economy as well as the opportunity to support local and international farms. Sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, low sugar and no sugar added cookies, pastries and cakes, caviar, dried fish, pickled Herring, perfectly ripe berries, smoked fish, halva, cheese spread, jams, and artisan teas, all five stars. But wait. Is it a Russian-American market where I find the most Ukrainian imported groceries and ways to support Ukrainian farming?! Yep! +Heart hands emoji+ This market does a great job of offering a nice seat and friendly conversation to the average dine-in customer. Stop by to sip on an imported pear juice. Try a bite of fresh cream cheese cake with berries. Ask for advice! Go for the Beef Plav which is an employee favorite. The Beef Plav here contains a generous amount of tender, lean beef with carrots, savory buttery rice and whole softly roasted garlic cloves. Yum! (Five stars!) I've found some especially healthy and nutritious food here for my health recovery goals recently. About six years ago, I had been exposed to high levels of radiation according to a good old fashioned Geiger counter. My health began to drastically decline and I became very weak. So I'm drinking bone broth, eating extra protein, taking vitamins. And lifting weights with steadfast determination to recover my strength and then some. (Go Navy!) No market has helped me more in this health effort than this hidden gem. (Many thanks!) I am the customer who buys ALL the boxes of pastilla. (SORRY OTHER CUSTOMERS!) Pastilla is a layered pastry made of baked apples and eggs white, no sugar and nothing else! It's a miracle of a snack! Tastes like apple cake, made of egg whites. Not skimpy, not balanced, loaded in the best possible way. The Kaiser roll deserves its own shoutout: lightly toasted with just enough crunch on the outside while staying soft and pillowy inside.
