Doesn't show prices for the menu, a bagel with cream cheese cost $5.50. Also slowest drive thru window service in the entire town.

Mystery pricing, new owners don't want prices shown. $5.50 for a bagel with cream cheese, always has the slowest drive through service!

Rio spinach wrap with ham and potato

What a great find!! After a disappointing night at a nearby hotel my guests and I were looking for a quick bite and coffee before embarking on our 6 hour journey! To kick off , the shop was warm , inviting and cozy! The delicious aromas of baked goods and coffee rafting in the air. Immediately we were greeted and order requests were asked. The assembly and the methodical process of the food prep was impressive and fun to watch our orders come to fruition! On the table we had ordered The Rio , In a spinach wrap with jam and potato. This was amazing! Then there was the Western on a sesame bagel , delicious and tasty! Last but not least we had the Chedder melt in a spinach wrap , so delicious! We also had lattes and americanos, I personally am a Starbucks junkie, and I will say my caramel americano at this shop surpassed my usual americano at Starbucks! Big kudos to the staff here as they were all working quickly to assist I house guests as well as drive thru! Absolutely found this place to be charming and if I'm In Fairbanks again, I will definitely be stopping in! T

Bacon, Egg, Cheese on Jalapeno cheddar.

The bacon, egg, cheese on jalapeño cheddar was outstanding. Everyone's bagels in our party were outstanding. Plenty of seating to dine in! Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Came here twice while in Fairbanks. First time drive thru experience was a bit slow. Came for a coffee and couple of bagel sandwiches. It took quite some time from start to finish. So my second visit we went inside. It wasn't any faster. I actually think they took longer inside. There were a lot of employees on shift but it was obvious they didn't have a working system in place. They looked like a bunch of lost puppies. Just sayin. Get it together yall!!!

While looking for a warm sitting place and coffee ended up here. A generic coffee place with all options. We were a group and ordered lattes, cappuccinos. Both were missing flavor and caffeine feel.

Cheddar bagel Denver sandwich

I got the Denver sandwich with the cheddar bagel. It was so yummy and fresh and I literally watched the egg get cooked right in front of me! The staff was so kind! Would come back if I lived in this state!

I ended up getting some tacos and my husband got a sandwich. Both of them had really good flavor. Could tell that a lot of ingredients are made in house. Though I didn't end up buying any I did see that they had an entire Bakery case with a bunch of gluten-free baked goods like cheesecake, custard cake, and some other stuff. We really enjoyed the glass roof as the snow was just starting to melt. It was kind of cool like we were in a half melted igloo. I would definitely put it on my list if you are gluten-free.

Landed on the BLT with salmon. The BLT actually came with a croissant as the bread, so it made it very easy to eat. Lots of bacon and the salmon went really well with the sandwich. Fries here are great too! Staff here are great! Since we came here near closing time, they actually offered us some of their leftover soup since it would have been tossed out. Definitely hate wasting food, so that offer was accepted very quickly. I didn't realize until after leaving why Blue Roof Bistro has its name. It's because...the roof is blue heh. Either way, worth the visit.

I was really excited to try The Crepery since the menu listed vegan options. Unfortunately, when we…read morearrived, I noticed that all the crepes were being placed on the same skillet once finished. That meant egg-based crepes were potentially touching the vegan ones. I asked if one skillet could be wiped down so I could safely order, but they weren't able to accommodate that (it also wasn't very busy at the time, which is why I asked). Because of this, I decided not to risk ordering a crepe. I did end up getting the hot chocolate, which was actually excellent. It was really well balanced, rich, and chocolatey without being overly sweet. Everyone else in my group ordered crepes and loved them, so it's clear the food is good. I just wish there was a bit more flexibility around cross-contact for people ordering vegan options or with dietary restrictions. Based on my personal experience, I would lean toward a 2, but since others really enjoyed their crepes and the hot chocolate was great, it feels fair to land on a 3 for my rating.
