i have recently returned to the bagel store . and glad that i have . the people who work here care about this place. the kid man owner just wants money not service. the cheif's the counter lady seem to actually take pride in what they do. for a while they couldn't keep a counter girl but the spanish guys who cook really take pride in their day to day activities. the bagels are always delicious they have many options. i guess inflation has prices on the rise but its not the people who work here's fault . great bagels they have seating area and located close by. glad to come here again. Absolutely terrible service. I just visited this place at 10:40am on 07/26/23 to grab a sandwich. I ordered "The Supreme Cujeen" sandwich which is listed at $12.99 for a hero. I asked for the sandwich on a roll, and the manager said it's going to be the same price. Makes no sense to me because it's less product he is using and every single sandwich place I've ever been to has a difference in price between a roll and a hero, but whatever, I said ok I'll take the hero then. The hero comes with a free bottle of water or can of soda. I've been here once before to pick up a sandwich for a co worker of mine, and instead of grabbing a soda I grabbed a large Gatorade and $1 was deducted from the price difference of the large Gatorade. Well today I got a large "electrolyte" drink, but the manager would not take the dollar off of the price. I politely told them this would reflect in their review. I can easily afford the extra dollar, but the greed and attitude the staff give off is just not worth returning to this place. Staten Island has sooo many great sandwich places. With Royal Crown right up the street, you'd be crazy to be eating from this place. Don't waste your time or money read more

This place seemed like a good idea, the advertising and pictures on the windows looked good. I walked in and ordered a Chicken Supreme Sandwich and asked to add blue cheese, hot sauce and onion. They talked about my sandwich a few times and still got it wrong. I didn't get any onion and the chicken looked so old and like it was reheated multiple times. The girl who works the register is RUDE!!!! I've watched her go off on customers in the past and get into screaming matches! We'll Friday it was my turn. Stopped in to Bagels on the Blvd to grab a quick sandwich not expecting much when one of the workers recommended the OG which is a hot pastrami sandwhich. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. This place was so friendly will definitely come back. They also support first responders with discounts. read more

Meh! Had an Ok sandwhich ordered a sausage , bacon, egg and cheese on a hero got charged $10. Its $ 6.50 at 90% of the establishments on staten island. The staff was not friendly at all and it was just me and 1 other person present in the store. No one asked if I needed help and it's hard for me to go unnoticed im 6 foot 6! Brooklyn bagels are hard to beat but this place gives them a run for their money! All their products are fresh and you'll never be dissatisfied with any bagel or deli sandwich. Having my food handlers license I always recognize the cleanliness of a deli, and this establishment leaves no concern. Highly recommend! read more

Simply put their bagels are not good, tried a few of their flavored cream cheese flavors all dry- not the smooth/whipped consistency I was hoping for. I gave them a few tries hoping the bad bagels were a fluke but it's been consistently bad. Very disappointing. Will not return. read more

First off I'll start by saying this place is 100× better than the previous bagel stores that were here but and it's a big but they need a new system for ordering because this is the third time in a row ordering to go from here and the orders been wrong. Egg whites, bacon and cheese shouldn't be that hard but when the order goes from the girl at the counter to the middle man than to the cook and then back in that order to the front counter thats a problem. Too many variables where confusion can take place and mix ups. It's 2019 get a POS system in place and problem solved. Now for the real problem, the young women at the counter could not be nicer, I walk in to smiles and good morning every time and you know it's genuine and they're just great. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the cook, I don't care if he's not a nice guy as long as he can do his job right and have respect for the people he works with which he clearly has none and he can't do his job correctly. Every time they speak to him, which is usually to order he has an attitude and you can see it on the girls faces that it's frustrating for them. If he doesn't like his job he should quit because I'm sure theirs someone out there that needs it and would appreciate it. I thought I found a new spot but as of now as long as that cook works there I will never go back. The stars are for the girls because they are a delight to see in the morning but not enough for me to waste money on something I'll just cook in 3 minutes in my own house. read more

I went this morning, and I handed them a hand written note for 1 plain bagel with egg and cheese and 1 everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. After a very long wait, the cashier looked at me and said egg and cheese and bacon, egg, and cheese. I said yes and paid and left. At that point there were no other customers waiting for anything. When I got home I opened the one that had BEC(one would assume bacon, egg, cheese) written on the foil, and gave my wife the one that said EC(one would assume egg & cheese). As soon as I opened mine I was disappointed that it was a plain bagel and not an everything. Then I looked more closely and my bacon, egg, and cheese was actually a sausage, egg, and cheese with salt, pepper, and ketchup. So wrong bagel, wrong meat, and salt, pepper, and ketchup which I did not want or ask for. My wife got plain eggs, no cheese. So not only did writing my order down not help them get it right, but it wasn't even what they wrote on the aluminum foil. I'll never go back there. I can't wait for Not Just Bagels to reopen!
