By far one of the safest establishments on fletcher.... there's always police and healthcare professionals getting breakfast. The bagels are always made fresh and the staff will always offer the most recent batch. Talk about variety of cream cheese. They are very generous in their portions. I personally enjoy their coffee as well. Service is fast and accurate, even during the busy hours. I routinely get bagels here as a treat when I am working the weekend and will continue to do so. read more

As a Tampa local, I've stopped here twice. Don't waste your time here. I FOUND HAIR IN MY FOOD. The coffee wad overchanged (more than Starbucks!!) and they didn't even ask me if I wanted cream cheese on my egg and bacon bagel. The line was weird to get in and they let people behind me get served first. Only gave 2 stars because their bacon was fairly good quality. But overall they are OVERPRICED and for the love of god go to publix and get a pack of bagels and cream cheese instead. read more

Bagels Plus reminds me a little of home. Not the best bagels I've ever had but pretty good. Going early is the best since they have more bagels earlier in the day than they do later. Service is pretty quick and the staff is pretty efficient. Definitely a great choice to make when craving bagels. The everything is a little salty but the garlic and onion are pretty awesome. I've requested for them to be toasted over the phone for a pickup, while in parking. But my bagels were not toasted neither even sliced., and i have not double checked. After my trip to New York, I have a new found love of bagels. I was pretty confident this wouldn't compare, but I had a craving that needed to get satisfied! I got a toasted asiago bagel with chive cream cheese, lox, and red onion and it was DELICIOUS! They don't skimp on the lox, like a lot of other places. It was surprisingly very close to what I had in NYC and definitely golden in comparison to other bagels I've had around the Tampa area. My mouth is practically watering writing this review. The bagels here are pretty good. They are boiled, not steamed, so they have a nice crust on the outside and soft on the inside. The cream cheese is delicious, and their eggs are made on the flat top right in front of you. However, the building itself is very run down. The outside patio is dingy and dirty. The building is in dire need of a renovation, not from being outdated but from being rundown and not maintained. The cashier is an older gentleman that owns the restaurant. I can tell that he spends all of his profits on his Mercedes that is always parked out front, and not on the restaurant building itself. He brags about his Mercedes and how he buys cars for his children. If you pay with a credit card he will try to put your credit card in his pocket to jokingly steal it from you and go shopping. What he doesn't realize is this is not funny, it is rather annoying. I would have loved to give this restaurant a full five stars. Certainly the food is definitely delicious. However the staff seem very stressed out, and the cashier thinks that he's friendly but he's not. And the establishment itself is very rundown. read more

For me one of the best place to get fresh bagels in Tampa bay! It is a hole in the wall and if a friend didn't introduce me to this place I probably would have continued to drive past it on my way to work. Like other reviews don't make the same mistake! You will be missing out! Now first and foremost the bagels are made fresh daily and you tell. Because I also am a fan of a good bagel and cream cheese their selections of both are diverse and hard to choose from. My favorites are the sundried tomato bagel with plain cream cheese or the everything bagel with salmon cream cheese (best salmon cream cheese I've ever had). Both very mouthwatering to a carb-lover like me. Though, I think the bagels could stand well on there own without any cream cheese, butter, or jelly. But if you would like something with a bit more substance they do a wonderful job on their breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They cook their eggs to order and slice their meats by hand. Also, their variety of baked goods such as their muffins, cookies, and doughnuts will curb any sweet tooth. I feel that half the time I end up buying one of them as I make my way to the register (I have no regrets). Bottomline if you haven't tried this place, you should! read more

I have been here many, many, many times. And will continue to come many times more. However, there are definitely some cons, but the bagels keep me coming back. Pros: 1. Always, (and I mean always) the bagels are good. 2. The owner seems nice. Jokes around alot. 3. Some of the pastry items are good also. 4. Addictive... my husband, my son, and myself go at lease 2-3 times per week. 5. The owner will occassionally give my son a free cookie, just because. 6. Large drink selection. 7. The portions are BIG... I can never finish my bagel. So my husband eats his and mine. Cons: 1. The girls who make your bagels are pretty much consistently rude. Even though I am a regular they are just bitchy for no good reason to about every customer. 2. They cook the bacon in the microwave even though they have a grill.... which is plain weird. 3. Not exactly the most sanitary place. 4. The Gyros is TERRIBLE. I mean WASTE OF MONEY TERRIBLE. 5. Tuna salad...not good. The bagel was great and the person who took my order was so pleasant. A weird situation happened as I was paying though. The older man at the register was telling me about how he was paying off his car soon. He completed the transaction and told me to have a nice day . I asked if I could have my card back. It took him a while, he took it out of his pants pocket. He was acting like he didn't have it. He was also acting like it was a joke. But it didn't feel too funny just weird. I don't know if it was just a really poorly played" joke" or if he had malicious intent, but either way , it wasn't really appropriate. I would pay with cash if I went back. The bagels were great but just left with a creepy feeling. This is where my serious bagel addiction began over 10 years ago, and damn are their bagels delicious! I used to drive clear across town on Saturday mornings for my fix and up until recently hadn't found anything in Atlanta that compared to them. The homemade scallion cream cheese - to. die. for. Seriously. They also had really good chicken salad - all white meat, as it should be, perfect amount of mayo. Made an awesome bagel sandwich. I've been coming here for a few months now. The staff is very friendly & the food is GREAT. I always order the bacon egg & cheese bagel toasted & a chocolate muffin. The restaurant itself needs a major upgrade. There nothing modern nor new Pretty run down establishment. My main issue with this place is the owner/cashier. When I use my credit card to pay for my food, he puts my credit card in his pocket & stay he's going shopping. Regardless if I'm in a hurry or not, this isn't funny.
