It was so good that we came back twice during our visit. The cappuccino was strong and buttery. The baguette... just perfect! The crunch from the crust and the chew was baked impressively well. The combination of flavors were distinct and went so well together!

Pastries are off the chain here, all of them!!

Everything about Baguette Magic truly is magic, you cannot go wrong with anything they are making for you. We have been coming here for years, and they are only getting better and better. The quality of the food is so good and you can taste the TLC they put into each dish or pastry. If you live in James Island and have not been here, you must run there now!!! The staff is so nice and welcoming, the spot is not huge but comfortable for a morning coffee or meal. It's the kind of place you want to see what everyone else ordered so you can try a new dish next time you come in for a visit. Thank you Baguette Magic for blessing JI with wonderful food

I was looking for a good breakfast sandwich and decided to try Baguette Magic on Folly Rd, James Island. The staff was friendly and service was outstanding. The menu had penty of great sandwiches that are a must try! You got to also try their fresh brewed coffees, it's a cup of eye opening goodness. I had the bacon, egg & cheese on a freshly baked baguette. The sandwich was awesome. I will definitely be returning to try some of the other tasty items on the menu. Thumbs up for this place

Every time I come here, I am never let down! From the homemade pop tarts to the Bri baguette sandwiches and the seasonal lattes, I never miss an opportunity to stop by. Great rewards program and friendly staff

I was so hungry I didn't get photos of the food. It was so good. My husband got the grits hangover bowl. I got an egg sandwich with side of home style potatoes the were so hot I had to wait to eat them. But they were so good crunchy on the outside which is perfect if you ask me. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Staff was friendly. We also got pastries and sourdough bread to bring home. And two take and bake meals that I am excited to try

Great customer service. The young lady at the counter was informative and personable. The other employees were friendly as well. Ordered an iced latte with almond milk and brown sugar cinnamon syrup. It was tasty. Second State coffee is used. Syrups are made in-house. Also ordered the BEC (bacon, egg, & cheese) on a baguette. Unfortunately, there was a hair in it so I had to drive back and get a new one. Cashier was apologetic, but they lose stars for that. Home fries are chunks of potatoes that are fried very nicely. I'd get those again. They sell various local items, such as teas, jerky, meats, & grits. There are some grab and go things in a freezer -- pasta & sauce, take-and-bake biscuits, pasta, & pies, gluten-free bread & buns, and more. Plenty of indoor seating.

What a great place we found headed to do some tourist things in town. Farm to Table place and everything is absolutely so fresh. The customer service was great & friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches, french toast & pimento cheese grits. They offer coffee, lattes & raspberry tea. Many choices! This would be a staple for me if I lived locally. Thank you for the Magic today!

We visited Baguette Magic on a Saturday afternoon. The servers were friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. We ordered a B.E.C. on a croissant to share, a cannoli latte with oatmilk and a caramelized banana latte. My cannoli latte lacked flavor and I could not taste anything related to cannoli. My partner said his latte tasted like iced coffee with a hint of banana. The BEC was good and fresh but nothing remarkable. Overall, an average experience.

Food was so tasty! Everyone was so friendly. The place was very clean and decorated well. A very nice place to get some work done.

I was quite baffled when this place had no baguettes actually for sale. Stranger still, some were set aside to make various breakfast sandwiches that I didn't want, but I couldn't simply buy a baguette to take with me. Moreover, they were already out of most of their best baked goods, and I stopped in at 9:30 or so (25% of the way through an 8-2 day). So the quality might not be there, but acquiring the items is a challenge. The croissant I settled on delivered a robust flavor with plenty of almond paste, and it was fine for what it was. Unlike the other nearby Baguette Magic location, this one had a decent amount of seating and was a place you could actually hang around at.

We ordered a vanilla cinnamon iced latte, a cappuccino, a smoothie, a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, and a strawberry pop-tart, and every single item was outstanding- gluten free options too!!! The breakfast sandwich was perfect--flavorful, fresh, and served on a perfectly toasted everything bagel. The strawberry pop-tart was unreal, an elevated treat, and the drinks hit the spot. The iced latte had just the right balance of vanilla and cinnamon without being overly sweet, the cappuccino was expertly crafted, and the smoothie was incredibly refreshing. Beyond the food, the vibe here is immaculate. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the background music is great, and the workers are exceptionally friendly. It's the perfect place to kickstart your morning. We will definitely be back!

We ordered at the counter, grabbed drinks from the fridge and found a table on the side, covered patio. Food was brought out super quickly and it was absolutely delicious. I got the St. Philip pita, which was incredible and almost tasted like a halal cart chicken sandwich in the best way. It was so filling and so good. It came with a really tasty side salad. My fiance got the BLT which was just as great. I can see this being a really ideal space to bring my laptop and get some work done if I lived in the area. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a great, casual space for breakfast, lunch or coffees.

Our waiter was super busy & at times hard to flag down. He did a nice job of refills for the kids, but when the food came out, we literally had zero napkins and zero utensils. That is basic stuff- I shouldn't have to flag down people for when getting seated. I ended up finding another waiter who was helping to bring out our food and asking him for napkins and cutlery. The beignets here are not what you expect- think super mini ones versus the classic ones you get from Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans or other joints. We would have placed two orders of them except I knew the brunch plates would be big, and we wanted our kiddos to eat their meal before filling up on sweets. I got the Meeting plate- double portion of crab cakes on top of fried green tomatoes with grits and a huge buttermilk biscuit, where I didn't finish the biscuit and had one of our kids eat half of it. I was craving some fried green tomatoes but also wanted seafood so that worked out! My partner got the fried green tomatoes BLT and loved it. One of our kids got the chicken and waffles, another ate all of the fried chicken tenderloins, and our third really wanted buttermilk pancakes that were a hefty plate. No shortage of being hungry at this place! The food was good, but I would not say it was anything too different than any other brunch place-but for, the fried green tomatoes & other southern offerings like grits that you wouldn't get in other parts of the country. There are only two wash rooms, so there can be a wait especially when you have a long line of ladies waiting FYI. Prices are not too bad and standard for brunch so still an alternative when you are looking for fuel to fill up before doing your shopping on King's Street.

That level of hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. We kept it simple and shared the Octopus Salad and the Taleggio Pizza, and wow...every single bite was packed with flavor. The pizza, cooked in the wood-fired brick oven, had the perfect crispy yet chewy crust with rich, melty cheese. The octopus was tender, fresh, and beautifully balanced. It was honestly the best meal we had all weekend. I paired everything with a refreshing brut rose while my husband enjoyed a beer, and it couldn't have been a better way to end our Charleston trip. And then the entrees - hubby got the shrimp and grits, that's usually my dish but I was glad he got it so I could taste. I got the fried chicken, with hoppin John over white rice, and collards. So good! And I wasn't even hungry but I had to test the "award winning" and "famous" labels on our dishes. The chicken is a huge serving - 4 pieces of juicy, tasty chicken - an entire quarter. The hoppin John was good - I just wish there were more hoppin John and less rice. Service was 5 star. Donte was a real treat and looked after us well.
