    Blackened Mahi Tacos with Broccoli
    Nick G.

This is my home airport but I never eat here. My flight today was delayed so I strolled in to Bahama Breeze. Mahi is not my favorite fish but I ordered the blackened Mahi tacos anyway. There were FANTASTIC!! I also got a side of broccoli (not much of a "fry guy") and my food was great!! Beer is cold as well!!

Nice place to grab a bite and a beverage in the airport! We were seated promptly and orders taken shortly afterwards. Good drinks, though they were out of one of our first choices. Empanadas were tasty, just enough to tide us over until the time for our flight. Not a bad experience.

The staff here is exceptionally polite which I wasn't expecting to find at an airport. I was very impressed with the level of service. I ordered a drink and side of bacon prior to my flight. This location could really use a deep cleaning would be my only negative on the location. Worth a stop if you want a quick in n out experience with good service.

I'm happy this place serves good food, in an airport of all places! Most airport food tastes...not very good. However, this place was so yummy! Food came out in a timely manner. Everything was cooked, seasoned, and presented very nicely. The chicken wings were very moist and saucey. I got the BBQ sauce; it has a nice spicy kick to them! The coconut shrimp was not over fried - thank goodness. The Mahi tacos were good; the fish was ever so slightly overcooked but still tasty. The broccoli was served steamed and well seasoned. The service was fine, but could've been more attentive. The place is nicely decorated too!

I ordered the Mahi tacos with fries, and they were quite tasty. The tacos had a mix of red cabbage and tomatoes. The fries were crispy and perfectly salted. The food arrived quickly, and the service was good.

My uncle was fond of the saying, "in the land of the blind.....the one eyed man is king" At breakfast time, in terminal b....Bahamas Breeze is the one eyed man. The breakfast bowl was just ok, it did offer lots of protein, eggs, black beans and bacon. Wasn't great, wasn't horrible. I had planned on ordering a breakfast sandwich but was talked out of it by the waiter, he said it was horrible so I took his word for it. I appreciated his candor. Service was quick so that was cool too.

Until now, I never knew that Bahama breeze would have breakfast. The prices and food are simple and that's what I really loved about it. The hostess and the wait time for our food was extremely fast and easy and friendly. The food was good and it kept us full for the most part of the morning. I'm never at this terminal and it was my first time trying it out so glad that we did. I would recommend.

They serve selected items from the regular Bahama Breeze restaurant menu. I am a regular at an Orlando location. Seating is tables, booths and the bar. Ceramic plates but plastic utensils. Like a meal to go plastic package. I was in a hurry and my server was very responsive. The drink menu had descriptions but no prices so she quoted some rates. $4 for an ice tea etc. The chicken pasta had the familiar sauce but the similarities ended there. Big bowl of pasta with very light toppings so mostly a huge bowl of macaroni. The chicken looked like it had been boiled and shredded so no grill involved. The really small amount of asparagus was just the stalks which in some cases were too chewy to eat. I had to hunt for the mushrooms but I spotted one or two small pieces. I have to admit compared to the $5 bag of Cheetos they sell by the gate this was ok airport food. Just not something I would seek out again.

Not bad for an airport restaurant. It was busy and crowded but we still got a table right away when waiting for our flight. I had the blackened mahi mahi tacos with fries and my husband had the jerk chicken platter which came with rice, fried plantains, and beans. The chicken in both dishes was good but slightly on the dry side. Shockingly the drinks were actually pretty good, he had a coconut Mojito and I had a margarita.

While I sat in Bahama Breeze at 6 am eating my breakfast I reflected on my bad choice to eat here. You do not expect much from airport food, much less at breakfast time, but you expect a certain limited expectation that it will be edible and service would be acceptable. The food sucked. No other way to say it. I ordered their "Classic Breakfast", which consists of eggs, potatoes, breakfast meat, and toast. I went with bacon. I also got a glass of orange juice. Eggs tasted off. The Orange Juice tasted watered down. The potatoes lacked any seasoning. The dish felt grease laden. I ate some of it because I needed to be able to have something to get through the flight. I left most of it behind. Service sucked too. There was one other person besides me patronizing the place. Yet it took me 20 minutes to flag down my waitresses attention for the check... because all the employees were laughing and yapping it up. I should have eaten fast food.

When you are in an airport, your food choices are limited. When it is 6 o'clock in the morning, your choices diminish substantially. Finding ourselves in this situation, my dining partner and I gave this restaurant a shot. I'm going to say the food merited about 3.4 stars; however, fantastic service brought the dining experience to a 4 star (no thanks to Yelp's full star-or-nothing rating system). Our waiter was prompt, brutally honest about the menu options and quick to fill our coffee cups. Due to his blunt thoughts on the breakfast menu, we ended up with orders to satisfy our bellies and get us on our way. As I previously stated, the food was good; not great. I had Breeze's Breakfast Bowl. It was a good combo; however, it wasn't the prettiest presentation of food I've ever received. After being dissuaded from the jerk style breakfast, my dining partner had the breakfast tacos. They were also good, not great. Overall, the 3.2 stars the restaurant currently has are pretty accurate. Being it was clean and there was a good waiter working, definitely benefited this review.

I decided to eat here before I've never dined here before. I chose the jerk chicken sandwich which was Jerk-seasoned chicken breast with melted pepper-jack, lettuce, tomato and red onions on a toasted brioche bun and fries. I also ordered the the Bahamarita frozen drink which was absolutely delicious. My server Matthew was very nice. I enjoyed my dining experience at Bahama Breeze Island Grille.

    The eggs are just . . . ????
    Rich S.

BFast was okay. Service was friendly and prompt, though we were never offered drink refills. No biggie. Restaurant was clean, which is always nice. As for the chow, I felt my scrambled eggs looked like the "powdered" variety, as they came out in clumps or marbles (see photo). Toast options were white or wheat, and they provide packaged butter. Sausage was flavorful, but very greasy/fatty (think Slim Jim). Lastly, the music piped-in was enough to make me wish I had sat at the bar, using alcohol to numb the sensation in my ears. Meh. RS

No complaints there at all. Beef Patty: 2/5 - The seasoning was actually pretty good, so the flavor was there. Unfortunately, the patty itself was very dry and had much less beef filling than I expected. I kept hoping for a better bite, but it never really happened. Coco Bread: 1/5 - It was served warm, which was nice, but it was also quite dry. I was expecting the soft, buttery, slightly sweet coco bread that's perfect for pairing with a patty. This one missed the mark for me. Overall, the experience wasn't terrible thanks to the excellent customer service, but the food just didn't live up to what I expect from a Jamaican restaurant. There are enough great Jamaican spots around Orlando, that I probably wouldn't make a return trip here. I was rushing on my break or I would've taken a photo.

The giant NOW OPEN banner was flapping like it personally invited me, and the storefront painted in bold Trinidad flag colors looked ready to hand out citizenship papers with every order. I walked in thinking I'd grab a quick bite. Rookie mistake, one look at the doubles and suddenly I'm ordering five. Then I'm calling my aunt and cousin like it's a family emergency: "Allyuh want doubles? Because these looking SERIOUS." Next thing you know, I'm walking out with ten doubles like I'm catering a small festival. And let me tell you, these doubles? Soft bara, perfectly seasoned channa, pepper and tamarind sauce hugging everything like a warm Caribbean auntie. I've basically been on a doubles‑only diet since, and honestly, I feel spiritually aligned. I even ate one cold from the fridge and it still slapped. That's when you know it's real. Then there's the boneless curry chicken with buss‑up‑shut. Pure comfort. The kind of meal that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. The potatoes were soft enough to spread on a cracker, the channa was rich and earthy, and the chicken tasted like somebody's grandmother was in the back whispering, "Put a lil' more seasoning, nah." The buss‑up‑shut was fluffy, torn, and ready to scoop up every drop of curry like it had a mission. And the pepper sauce? Flavorful. Respectful. Not trying to fight me or send me to the ER. A rare and beautiful thing. The place is clean, the parking is plentiful, and the staff has real Trini accents that instantly make everything feel more authentic. Even the way they say "Next!" has rhythm. Next time, I'm calling ahead for dhal phourie, because clearly this place does not miss and I'm not risking it selling out. If you see me there again, mind your business! I'm probably ordering another ten doubles and living my best life.

I was getting together with some friends and we ordered from Negril. Luckily, a couple of my friends are Jamaican and they helped steer me to some new faves! Food I'd highly recommend: - Brown stew chicken meal with rice and peas, fried plantain, and stewed cabbage. This dish is rich and has the potential for leftovers if you're not starving. For the uninitiated, Jamaican rice and peas consist of red kidney beans and rice that's cooked in broth, coconut milk, and tons of aromatic spices. This isn't your white rice and green peas type of situation. I could have eaten this rice on its own, but add in the brown stew sauce and WOW. Also, I love the cabbage side because it adds a vinegary note that offsets the rich stew. Note: The chicken is cut up and includes bones. - Coco bread: This is a Jamaican style bun baked with coconut milk. It's especially good when paired with a patty in the middle (yes, the coco bread around the patty! Carb heaven!). - Festival: Jamaican festival is a sweet fried dough made with cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and milk aka a dumpling.
