Back in the day I LOVED Baja Fresh! I was bummed when they started closing them down in AZ. When I saw this location pop up in Chandler I was excited to check it out. It's a shared space with Burger King, which was interesting. The place was clean and the service was good. I ordered my usual from back in the day, a chicken quesadilla and a grilled chicken taco. I was excited to taste their unique salsa again as it was one of my favs. Unfortunately, this is not the same as I remembered it. While the food was ok (at best) the salsa was not close to how it used to be. On a scale of 1 - 10, this was a one and done. RIP Baja Fresh from the early 2000's.

New taco trio deal was very good. Ths chicken tacos were loaded with white chicken and wete well seasoned. It was $10 for the meal. Maybe the beans could be better.

Smokey BBQ Chicken Bowl...nice and spicy.

I went to the only Baja Fresh left in Arizona. I had the Smoky Chicken BBQ Bowl. It was really good, had a nice kick. They brought the food to me which I appreciated. Only negative...the bowl was $14.

If you're looking for freshness and delicious Mexican food, stop here and eat! This place is very good. I had the Impossible Taco Combo, Baja style since I prefer corn tortillas over flour ones. VERY GOOD! This location is new and very nice on the inside. Very clean as well.

I just ordered a burrito for pickup and it's made wrong. Didn't have any of the special instructions done. Instructions said to call when you arrive for pickup and I called twice with no answer. There were no sauces in the bag like I put, I'm glad I got the mango one when I went in. Big disappointment.

Baja Fresh has landed in Chandler!!! Whooohoo we are so excited!! Heard such good things from my husband!!! This Baja Fresh is connected to a Burger King if you are looking for it! The place is very new and so far very clean!! We didn't have time to dive in so we decided to phone in our orders which consist of 2 Baja steak burritos ( which comes with chips and access to salsa bar) Upon arriving our orders were made fresh and customer service was great! The burritos are soooo delicious! So fresh and cooked perfectly! I loved the different type of salsas that they offered! My favorite would have to be the mango salsa yummmy!! For two giant burritos, chips and salsa we both paid a total of $18.95 including tax. Go check them out and and let me know how you like it!! I'll report back once we "sample" some more hint hint haha

Ok so all is good now! Soda machine is working, food is delicious and staff is friendly and amazing. So happy to have a great baja fresh in the area! Weird side note - i went to California and noticed that their baja fresh locations have cheaper prices than our Az locations.

The food quality on our last visit left something to be desired, however it likely points to the differences between chain restaurants and local establishments for Mexican food. We had chimichangas - steak and green chili pork, and the fact that neither was shredded with strong flavor was disappointing. The meat was cubed and didn't taste great, and the cheese was too much for the needed proportions of fillings. I will share the ambience was very nice and business was good for a weekend. The servers were both very nice and everything was brought out promptly and hot. Not the best culinary experience, however for those looking for Mexican food without a lot of spice this is a good option.

No one else we've had compares (and my husband grew up here, so he's tried a lot). We were so sad when they were closed for a bit because of the fire, but we are so happy they're back open! We drive all the way from AJ just to have lunch here, and it is worth it every single time! The complimentary chips and salsa is no basic basket of chips and cup of red salsa. You get your basket of chips, red salsa, hot green chile, beans, and white sauce. I don't even like sour cream, but I could drink that white sauce by the gallon, it is SO GOOD. All of the dips are incredible, mix the white sauce with the others and you're in for a real treat. I'm not a huge fan of green chile, but theirs is absolutely incredible. I'm an enchilada girly at heart, so I get the #4 (three cheese enchiladas) with red sauce and double beans. The red sauce is the perfect amount of spicy, where you can feel the tingle on your tongue and lips but it doesn't hurt. I love spice though, so if you're sensitive, it might be a lot. I always get an extra side of white sauce for my plate, I love the extra creaminess it adds. My husband is the wild card and mixes his meals up every time we go. His favorites are the chicken enchiladas with half hot green chile and half mild green chile. He also loves the shredded beef burrito with red sauce. He's had the shredded beef taco, and he said it's your basic shredded beef taco, still delicious but nothing super special like the enchiladas and burritos are. Finishing off, you get complimentary sopapillas, and can choose between plain and cinnamon sugar, and they bring a bottle of honey as well. The cinnamon sugar ones are so packed with the cinnamon sugar that they don't even need the honey, I just eat it plain. They're so thick and fluffy, I imagine that's what eating a cloud would be like. Our waitress this time was so adorable and sweet, I feel horrible that I didn't catch her name to about her out. My husband is a huge soda drinker, and at no point was his cup left empty, there was a new soda on the table once his glass was about three quarters empty (and he went through probably 6-7 sodas). They were packed when we were there, so that's huge that she was slammed and still kept on eye on all of her tables that closely! I had a mimosa and water, and I love that they give the option for orange or cranberry. All in all, you cannot go wrong with Si Señor, we will be customers here until either they close the doors, or we die, it really is that good.

My wife can be pretty particular when it comes to carne asada, so she was a little hesitant when I suggested we share it. After a few bites, she couldn't get enough! The carne asada was flavorful, tender, and clearly high quality, and the burrito itself was packed with great ingredients and balanced flavors. The added guacamole was the perfect finishing touch. As much as we loved the burrito, Espo's has become a go-to spot for our family because of their Taco Tuesday special. Their 10-taco plate for around $12 is an incredible value, especially for families. We love that you can mix and match between carne asada, carnitas, ground beef, chicken, and shredded beef, making it easy to get something everyone will enjoy. The restaurant also has that fun, authentic hole-in-the-wall feel while still being a well-established local favorite. It's the kind of place that locals know and love for good reason. That's when Chandler Blvd was still two lane road and called Williams Field road. We enjoy Espos for Tacos Tuesdays. We arrived a little before 7pm and waited for about 5 minutes to order. They offer 10 street tacos for $12.50 with choice of ground beef, chicken, shredded beef, carnitas or carne asada on Tuesday's. We ordered 10 carne asada tacos to share. They offer a nice self serve topping bar that includes a generous selection, three sauces, pickled red onions, cabbage, lettuce, limes. Freshly made corn tortillas give the tacos a home made flavor. Although the tacos are small, sharing 10 provided a satisfying meal for us. They have table inside and on the patio. We opted for the patio as it was nice weather. Mexican music played in the background was pleasant and set a relaxing mood on the patio. Highly recommended!
