But from the moment we walked into the office, I knew he was in the best hands. First of all, the place is clean (and doesn't smell like a typical vet office, which is a big win already). The entire team, from the receptionists to the vet techs, were kind, patient, and genuinely caring. I called a lot during the surgery (sorry, team ), and not once did anyone make me feel like I was a bother. They were always sweet and thoughtful, and took time to answer all my nervous questions. The doctor was amazing. He explained everything clearly, which helped me go from anxious to confident about the surgery. Harley's procedure went perfectly, and now we're on day five of recovery, his sutures look fantastic, the swelling has gone way down, and the bruising is almost gone too! Also worth mentioning, I had quotes from another vet that were almost double the cost. This team was honest, transparent, and incredibly fair. If you're looking for a vet who treats your fur baby like family (and also doesn't judge when your "baby" weighs 100 pounds and still tries to sit on your lap), this is the place. I can't thank them enough. 10/10 recommend, Harley gives it two paws up (when he's allowed to use both again

Once the first set of vaccines were done and I was about to head home they told me they'll be another round of vaccines necessary for the same price with another doctors visit even though my bunny had just seen the vet. The second set of vaccines would be three weeks later. When I've had to have vaccines at other offices I have never had to pay for another doctor's visit especially when the doctor gave an exam to my bunny within the month. This seemed like a huge money grab and this was my first time at this office. I don't ever plan to come back. The staff didn't seem particularly nice, I didn't even get to ask the vet questions about my bunny's health. Way overpriced and the quality of care was not there.

Ultrasound showed she had liver tumors and was heavily bleeding into her abdomen. She had to be put down. All the staff members were very kind to me. The vet (unfortunately did not get her name) was super professional, straight forward, and as nice as possible about everything. She has a very difficult job. Nobody wants to put an animal down!! This was at 5am and it's an emergency medicine vet. Of course they charged more than a regular vet. However, they partially refunded what they initially charged me when they realized she had to be put down and no longer needed further workup/treatment. The bill went from $850 to $640. They could have just stuck with the initial charge and said they did x, y, and z to justify it but they did not. I didn't even ask and I was in no position to know any better. So if anyone reads these reviews, know that there are honest people working there. Maybe there's some bad apples I don't know, but this was my experience.

I called a few vets. The first one I called was Sylvan, which I have brought my dog here numerous times I spoke with someone and asked them if they did euthanizing for stray animals that were in pain and dying, and they told me no that the finder would have to pay for all the costs they do not do any Good Samaritan services... and for that reason in itself I will not be bringing any of my animals here. I called village oak and they seen us straight away put the kitten down and were so kind not to charge... they said he has liver failure, assessed him before laying him to rest. I don't trust vets who only care about money and not the well being of an animal
