My daughters school celebration was catered with the mini pastries and cookies . Wonderful selections !!! We ordered 100 pieces and gave a week advance notice at least . The girl at the counter is super helpful . My kid's school loved the assorted Mexican breads and cookies.

I usually come here for bread on dia de los muertos and dia de los reyes. The bread is delicious and worth the price. As other people have mentioned, the customer service is okay but not great. And yes every time I have gone the lady that works at the register is talking on the phone or talking to other people. Aside from that I would recommend this place.

Both the sweet and savory pies are delicious, and I like that they rotate their menu with a mix of classic and more unique flavors. It makes it fun to keep coming back and trying something new. Some of my favorites over time have been the chocolate chess, cheeseburger, and berry custard pies. All very different, but all really good in their own way. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for pie!! There are honestly not a lot of places around that you can get crafted pies from, so I think they fill a niche market here - a market that I am certainly a part of.

Tastes like how a pot pie should be. It was great on the go since I was chowing it down while driving to my next destination. I got some slices for myself to try, French silk chocolate was good. Unfortunately, it was melting (my bad) when I finally got to eat it. Chocolate whole pie for others. Got other slices for friends to try and they enjoyed it. Pandan had a nice flavor, they don't use extract which is even better. Lemon chess was good - great lemon flavor and creamy. Will need to get French silk again to eat it as soon as possible or keep in fridge when ready to eat, haha.

When you walk in, youre greeted with a huge display case of their beautiful donuts! I came in for the first time the other day and I was greeted with a warm welcome upon walking inside. (It wasn't busy at the time i went so i got to take my time choosing my donuts). Amber was so sweet, she helped me box up my order and went over the flavors of the donuts i chose before closing the box in front of me. I got the black sesame, churro, matcha hazelnut, chocolate hazelnut, melona and the blueberry cream filled. Let me tell you these donuts are perfect if you dont like anything too sweet. My mom who usually splits one donut over the span of 3-4 days to finish, ate her entire blueberry donut in one sitting without even sharing. They do recommend that you enjoy them asap or to place them in an airtight container so they don't dry out. I did not do so, so my donut dried out (eating a dry but delicious day old donut as i write this). All in all my experience was amazing and I will definitely be coming back to try that guava donut if its there!!! I also recommend checking out and exploring their website. They have a gallery of the donuts they've created and case studies of how they come up with their flavors!

I remembered visiting on their very first grand opening a long time ago before the chain expanded to other locations. Good cashier service and pastries are always fully stocked here. Area is clean and modern. Cakes are all good looking at decent prices. I can't say the same about other locations though. This one is spacious with tables and chairs inside. Wide varieties of options to choose from. I stopped by for my regular iced cold Tiger boba latte medium size cup for $4.90. Note: my cup looked very small compared to what I'm used to getting. Did the medium sized cups shrink? The lady probably used the wrong cup size, but I'm having a good morning, so not sweating about it. However, I can easily buy beautiful and delicious slices of cakes for around or under $5 each. No lines and no crowds after 10am on a Thursday morning. Staff was helpful at front counter. The place is still much better than other retail spaces. It's a good feeling inside. I'm glad I was able to make another quick stop here. This 85 Degrees C Bakery is definitely the better place.

The matcha wasn't strong but the sea salt one had more tea flavor which I liked since it's less sweet. The barista was kind to show me all the limited edition magnets to pick from. They're all so cute, but I had to choose one per two drinks. Definitely worth coming back to this original location even though it's a bit of a drive.

Husband called them around 11am and they said they were in the middle of making their strawberry cakes so they could add our order in for a same day pickup at 4pm. Pickup went well and the cake was so cute and it tasted great! Like the Chinese bakery strawberry cream cake with a moist sponge cake; not too sweet, just right. Might sound basic but it was done very well. Would 100% recommend. I don't know prices for cakes nowadays but I didn't feel bad paying about $60 for a cute and tasty cake (6", strawberry cream cake). I wouldn't bank on same day pickups, I might've just been very lucky they were in the middle of making their cakes but it wouldn't hurt to try calling early in the day if you're in a pinch for a solid cake. The cake was beautiful and she put butterflies around it. I would have given it a five star if the taste was a bit more fitting. It was a bit bland in my opinion, but very beautiful to look at! A caveat: I placed an order for a sample box and did receive a full refund. I struggled with this…read morerating because it is a small family-run business, but I also didn't think it was fair to rate them 5 stars based on the quality and how things transpired. I read such amazing reviews about Minia's and was really optimistic about the cakes, especially since they offered more novelty flavors such as guava, mango, and ube that most bakeries don't have. I reached out to order a sample box and was told they provide 6 different flavors for $25, but they offer the cake samples in the form of cupcakes. Setting up the order was fairly easy and they were communicative via email. They also accommodated my request to swap out one flavor for another. When I first received the box, I was astounded by how big the samples were. For $25, I thought it was such a steal. I've been to a few tastings now and they range from a completely free tasting to $50 on the higher end, so I felt like Minia's pricing was pretty fair. To be clear, I don't have an issue paying a fee to sample an assortment of cakes. I understand that putting together these samples take time and money from the business, and free tastings are probably a thing of the past since people seem to take advantage of companies....but I do have an issue paying for cakes that are unpalatable and not worth my calories. It went all downhill after this. Of the 6 samples I received, all of them were dry and some the flavors were not very pronounced. Even my father, who is not a cake connoisseur by any means and doesn't really have a good palate noted that the cakes were dry. We took a couple bites, but ultimately trashed the box and we rendered the cakes inedible (technically, you could still eat them, but it would not be enjoyable). I reached out to Minia's with my comments and was offered a 50% refund and was also told that they've received feedback that the cupcakes can dry. I was taken aback by that comment because in my mind, if you know that the cakes you're providing as samples are a first impression of your business and that there is a known issue with the dryness, wouldn't you remedy that and give out samples that are more reflective of your quality? I was concerned that if I had gone through with this, the actual cake would be terrible and I would be wasting my money. I did ask for a full refund after they only offered half back, and they complied moments after by just sending a receipt with the updated invoice and no further comments.
