First of all, they have plenty of parking and it's very convenient to get in and out step inside and you'll be transported into another dimension, a sweet haven so to speak. They have Dubai strawberries with chocolate that seemed to be the popular choice. I was pleasantly surprised to see some updates they've made in my most recent visit. 1)They were proactively greeting customers and seemed focused on on being more friendly. 2-3 people greeted me when I walked in which was very nice. 2) They gave me a free sample of coconut cookies. This was great bc sometimes I want to try something but don't want to waste. It would be nice if the they could offer bite size samples of everything or at least a few highlights each day. 3) They've upgraded the packaging to very nice gift boxes. This is a very nice touch. Last time I got a thin cardboard box but now it's a glossy gift box and bag. Another successful trip. The ambiance and service was excellent. Lots of smiling faces which is importantly when exploring another cultures food. I also tried the Turkish coffee. Boy is it strong! Looks like hot chocolate. My step daughter found this place and we took her to try some of the "viral" fruit pastries. It was such a pleasant surprise and experience for all of us. The place itself was undergoing "construction" but still looked great and clean. The setup was kind of confusing with the lines to order. They have so many options and line for whatever you're specifically ordering. Service was wonderful as well despite how crowded and busy they were. They have pastries, coffee, ice cream, baklava (hence the biz name). My daughter ordered pretty much one of everything lol we tried a few of the viral fruit pastries, I ordered a savory spinach feta pastry, Dubai chocolate bars, and a Dubai chocolate labubu. My husband ordered a Turkish coffee. The pistachio filled cookie was not what I expected. Tho huge, the inner green filling tasted more like peanut butter. I did not taste pistachio whatsoever, very disappointed, none of us cared for this overpriced cookie. The triple Dubai chocolate filled cookie resembled more of a chocolate flavor and had a tiny bit of a crackle texture. With so many other desserts to try, I would void the cookies! My husband and I recently visited Baklovah Bakery, and we both enjoyed trying various desserts. Upon arrival you see a line out the door and a crowd waiting or enjoying their treats. Don't let that stop you from enjoying this bakery. They are efficient and that line does not take long. The waiting is only for the Dubai Strawberries, which are worth the wait. You can tell we had a few people with us, so we had a nice variety. Some shared, some didn't, but every bite was delicious. We sat outside on a cooler Saturday and enjoyed the sunshine. There isn't a dining room per se, but the patio is enjoyable this time of year. In the summer, I'd recommend taking your treats home.
