So I've seen this place quite often driving past and grabbing an ice cream next door. Finally gave it a shot. It's park of a strip mall so there's some parking but limited. Parking always seemed to be full which I think it's mainly occupied by employees of the strip mall. So it's very limited for customers. There's street parking but that could be limited with the hours on balboa blvd. Stopped by at lunch time and it was quiet. There was no one there when I walked in but the lady that was working was quite nice. She could have been the owner. I'm not sure how long they've been opened. It's a small place which is more likely for takeout. Layout of the items in the counter. All proteins (fish, shrimp, tofu, imitation crab meat) are to the right, then you have your extras or sides (veggies, corn, onion , seaweed, soybean, jalapeño) items in the middle and then the sauces on the opposite end. Some of the items are additional charge. I went with the large bowl. Comes with white or brown rice. And four different proteins, 7 sides items and a crunch item (whatever topping) and a sauce. The protein scoops is quite small per items as well as the sides. But I guess if you're getting a few choices it adds up. Fish does look fresh which is a major plus. Also some of the sides items, I would have never thought to add. Never seen artichoke or some kind of a pickle veggies. To think of it, I don't remember seeing any pickle ginger on hand. Anyways, for the two large bowl, it came up to 43.00 and that's before tax. There's also a refrigerator case with the macaron ice cream . Bowl, it was good. The mixture of fish was nice. There was a lot of rice on the bottom. They could add more protein and the extra items and do a little less rice would have been nice. Overall, it was good.

3/26/26 medium bowl with tuna, salmon, crab. Sweet chili and Poke sauce drizzled. On white rice. SO FRESH AND DELICIOUS. Their store is very clean, always friendly and fast!

    Amazing selection of proteins!

Anytime I'm even remotely in the area, I drive out of my way to come here. They have the freshest fish, unique toppings, and the kindest staff. It's always hard for me to eat anywhere because most foods and toppings are not safe for my medical condition and they are always kind about answering my questions about ingredients and nutrition facts, so I feel safe and comfortable eating here over and over. My absolute favorite Poke spot in LA, truly! (Trust me - I eat A LOT of Poke!)

Was excited to try a new poke spot in the valley, but I won't be coming back unfortunately. The brown rice was undercooked, the fish didn't taste fresh, and the sauce was lacking flavor. The skimped on the toppings in my opinion. I really wish I had a better experience. Can't win them all.

    Signature bowl #3

The signature bowl was amazingly delicious with all natural, fresh and healthy ingredients. This is the location I know that red caviar is included. The customer service was great. Parking is available. I highly recommend this location for everyone.

I ordered delivery from this place so this review is about the food only. I ordered a large and 3/4 of the bowl was rice. The fish wasn't the best and the portions were small. I did appreciate they had a lot of sauces and a lot of sides to pick from. One of the cons was you had to pick crab as a main protein instead of adding it after like most places. Also, seaweed salad was $1.50 more so I opted out. I was excited because they offered eel and yellowtail but neither of the fish I got was amazing. I most likely won't be back which is sad because it's is somewhat close to us and the selections sounded good.

Stop debating and HURRY over! I love this place. Trust me as a poke connoisseur it's amazing! The food is always consistent, fresh, and delicious. I've tried easily over 20 poke spots. This place took my # 1 spot. I drive all the way from manhattan beach to eat here and I'm never disappointed. It's always clean and has two tables to eat. I've come here every week since I found it on yelp like you did! The workers are super respectful I'll be coming here for many months to come! :) Here are just a few photos I've taken and shared with family and friends. My menu photo isn't the best since the sun reflected but here you go! Head over! Or order :)

I've been here before when they…read morewere at another location across the street, but now that they've moved to this new spot, I've been coming quite often. The restaurant is located in a strip plaza, so there's plenty of parking, though it can feel a bit narrow, so be cautious. Upon arrival, you're greeted by a hostess at the front counter who seats you or directs you to the bar area. I usually sit at the bar and grab a seat by Chef Tom. The restaurant has plenty of seating, but I've seen people waiting outside to be seated, so it does get busy. Every time I've been here, the place is nice and clean, and they have a TV with games on at the bar, creating a pretty chill vibe. I typically order a variety of sushi. When I first came, I ordered my usual rainbow roll, blue crab roll and garlic shrimp roll, but then I started letting Chef Tom surprise me with a variety of nigiri, and he hasn't disappointed. The sushi is always fresh and delicious and on weekends, they have halibut, so if you like that, it's only available then. Overall, you can't go wrong with So Sushi, and I highly recommend it for fresh and tasty sushi. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

Nothing stood out, nothing felt fresh or memorable, and it just didn't live up to the expectations or the name. For the price it really is not worth it. Got here around 4ish (while still in happy hour time) and ordered everything off the HH menu. Everything was really good, made to order and fresh. ** they have gluten free soy sauce (you just have to ask). Normally, the all-you-can-eat lunch is $29.99 or $19.99 for rolls, which is pretty great. Yesterday, my wife and I decided to have a little date there around 2 PM and went for the all-you-can-eat option, thinking it would be just like any other Friday. We were excited to dive into some sushi and just enjoyed waters with our meal. When the bill came, we were a bit bothered to see that we were charged $39.99 per person, which is their dinner price that starts after 3 PM and on weekends. We asked about the price increase, and they told us it was a holiday pricing. We explained that the actual holiday is tomorrow, July 4, and many places were still open for business that day including banks and government facilities. While the staff was nice, they didn't have a clear reason for the price change, which felt a bit unfair. It's frustrating when prices change unexpectedly, especially without any notice. It kind of breaks the trust we've built over time. Because of this experience, we're going to take a break from this place and explore other sushi restaurants for a while. I really hope they reconsider how they handle pricing in the future.

I LOVE SUSHI...and it really doesn't matter if it's Ralphs, Nobu, or Kura Revolving Sushi...HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!! and I mean this, HOWEVER!!!!!!!! Miho is the only spot that matters if you are looking for a place to go that's not stupid expensive or mediocre quality just to get your fix. Miho IS EXACTLY the opposite of that. Miho is well priced, pinnacle quality and exceptional service!!!! It's a small hole in the wall off of Ventura Blvd in Tarzana and although we were hesitant at first, we decided to give it a shot. How could a sushi join in a largely jewish strip mall be any good...well, because they're some of the nicely, most talented Chefs, that how! The presentation of the rolls, the nigiri and the sashimi is gorgeous and if you sit at the bar the speed the sushi comes out makes you feel like you're the only person in the restaurant (who wouldn't like that?). We had to wait about 15min to get in, there's typically a wait but it's a wait well worth it and honestly it's more exciting this way. Plenty of Parking...unlike Nobu or Sugarfish or Katsuya type places so why waste the time....Good idea GO TO MIHO instead. Support your local shops, Miho is the spot! Go! Thank me later!
