The portion is huge and honestly such a good value for the amount of food you get. I get to pick exactly what I want, everything has been fresh every time, and the extra large actually feels worth my money for how much food I get. This time I also ordered ahead through DoorDash for pickup and it made everything so easy. Haven't tried Poke-Ya for many years and I will say the quality seems to have upgraded since the last time I had it. All the fish was delicious and fresh. I love the option to add edamame. My only strife was that the price was pretty steep compared to other local spots. The toppings also tasted fresh and paired well with the fish. The only downside was the rice. It tasted a little old and not as fresh as I expected. However, the fish quality honestly made up for it. Parking in the front can be a bit tricky since there are only a few spots, but there is additional parking in the back. There are also a few tables inside if you want to eat there. One of the better poke spots in the Valley; if I'm not going to my usual poke spot, I'd definitely consider stopping at Poke-Ya. The fish is fresh and tasty and they have a good variety of toppings and sauces. I paid around $22 for a large bowl which came with 4 scoops of my choice of protein. I also chose to have white rice and spring mix, but I did wish the portions of the bases were bigger. I felt like there wasn't a great balance between fish and the bases I chose. The service was okay; not great but not awful either. I took my meal to go as the dining space inside was pretty small and I wasn't too sure I'd be too comfortable sitting and eating there. This spot finally got its customer service under control- solid, friendly interactions. And the food here is really good. One of the better poke places in the valley. The fish consistently tastes really fresh and the selection is pretty good. I went with the 4 protein bowl for $19. The bowl was on a bed of white rice, with a bunch of delicious toppings, like jalapeno, tamago, chile edamame, mandarins and cucumbers. For protein, I chose scoops of spicy salmon, albacore, regular salmon and spicy tuna. Since, I love sauces, I put a bunch on top, including citrus ponzu, spicy mayo, chilli oil and more. To finish off my creation, I added some ginger and 3 scoops of crispy onion on top. The result was outstanding and each bite was very special. Definitely one of the best poke spots! I take mine usually to go, but if you wanna dine in, they do have 2 tables inside and the place is, while small, yet air-conditioned pretty well, thus creating a comfortable environment to just grab a bite right there on the spot. This was my first time eating here (ordered take out) and I was pleasantly surprised. I had the medium bowl half white rice, half spring mix, with salmon, shrimp, and tuna. You can see everything that was added in the screenshot of my order. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and flavorful. My only critique is the portion balance--there was a bit too much spring mix and seaweed salad, which left less room for the protein. Hands down best poke on this side of town. The portions side is pretty big. The only difference is a small has 2 scoops of poke, medium has 3 and large has 4. The base, sides and sauces all the same size. I notice the prices went up but so worth it. They have a decent selection of sides and the fish is always fresh. The only downside is the parking since it's in a very tiny strip. And they only have one table inside. So your best bet is to take it to go. I thought my friend got tuna but it turned out it was salmon I had a bite and another bite and omg it was freaking delicious. Their salmon is so fresh and so gooood!! They offer 3 scoops, 4 scoops etc. I love the variety of toppings and sauces. It's super flavorful. I'm super picky but I am super impressed with this place. Quality is 5 stars. This place is one of the best poke bowls I've had from the valley. Their fish are probably one of the best quality fish compared to other poke restaurants. Other restaurants are normally stringy or rubbery but Poke-Ya always tastes fresh. Their rice is warm and they give a healthy amount of scoop portions. I normally order on doordash and they always honor my extra scoops and get my order correct. I went a couple times in person and it was a chill vibe in the store. Everyone was nice too! Their prices are pretty standard for poke bowls but I would say it is worth it, especially for their quality of food. Went in a few minutes ago and service was not great. The worker had the most serious face and her bad attitude matched it. This was the first time coming to this poke place and she was rushing me through the whole order process and gave me no chance to actually see what I wanted. The food was good quality it was fine, but my issue was the portions. I got my husband the large with three fish and the plate she gave me was only about 60% full. I was going to get myself a plate but after I saw the portion it really bothered me. Not going to pay close to $20 for a half empty plate of a couple cubes of fish. I even brought it up to the employee, I asked he to clarify if this was a large and she said yes and I said it seems very little and she said this is our portions. It sucks that this is the closest place to me, but I'll be driving further to get my monies worth next time. I don't know if putting half the food is some sort of cost effective decision they made, but they're losing another customer and I'm sure many more. I'd rethink the portions.
