Maybe it just was a bad Sunday night. We ordered a sampler platter and a pad Thai with tofu. The platter was filled with greasy, over-fried (in old oil) difficult to identify items. The ribs were so tough and chewy we didn't bother finishing them. And we love ribs! The pad Thai was dry and contained maybe four slivers of carrot, one sad, limp shred of green onion, and that was about it. So all in all, a very unappetizing and disappointing dinner. read more

Not great, I got super sick. Placed an order during quarantine and almost ended up in the hospital.

Ordered the Panda Appetizer plate which was delicious- especially the egg rolls! Also had the orange chicken with fried rice and noodles with chicken in a yellow curry. It was all good although could have used a bit more salt (even with the soy sauce we added). Not the best Chinese food ever, but it was still worth trying it! read more

Walked in on a saturday night and it wasn't crowded at all which had me a little worried but have no fear because this place is pretty darn tasty. They start you off with a complimentary soup that is good but pretty standard. I had the wonton soup and enjoyed the actual chunks of pork throughout instead of unidentifiable shreds of what i hope is meat that i usually find in wonton soup. for dinner i ordered the orange chicken. it was cooked excellent and extremely moist. however it was a little spicy but i don't mind that. my mom ordered the pad thai and found it to be delicious but a little different from the pad thai she has had in the past. the main flavor was citrus but nonetheless it was good. be sure to stick to the small portion unless you are sharing. the rangoons were awesome in fact we ordered more. i also heard they have karaoke on wednesday which i would have liked to check out if i was still in san antonio. read more

The service was non-existing. I waited 20 mins for someone to take my order. I had the 'spicy' egg drop soup. It just had a spoon full of chili paste and green onion. The food was less than mediocre. The soup, was just ok. Ordered the orange chicken... it came with rice. Chicken and rice. No frills. No Fun. No real flavor. No one who worked there, really seemed to care. Finally tried Bamboo tonight due to a recommendation. I was not too impressed. Tasted like any other Chinese restaurant on the street. The lemon chicken was dry and the spicy egg drop soup was just egg drop soup with hot oil in it. The cheese rangoons were dry and chewy but the egg roll was on point. I would go here only if I didn't have much time on my hands but definitely not a first. read more

This is a good place for typical Chinese food in the hood. The food is standard, but you know those time you just have a craving? This place will meet it for you! I appreciate that it's always clean and service is fast. My favorite part is probably the bar with options for indoor or outdoor seating. They have large TVs and a great drink selection (mixed drinks, draft beers, wine) so this is a great spot to catch a football game. Check them out on Thursday nights for karaoke! read more

Have visited last night as it was recommend by a friend. The hot and sour soup, egg drop and the spicy egg drops soups were nice. The spring rolls we had was zero on a scale of 5. They tasted weird. We got the Lo mein which was nice along with some fried rice. We ordered couple of drinks as well as it was weirdest drink I had the classic mojito and the pear mule. I never leave reviews, but this food was absolutely terrible. I ordered like $70 worth of food from Postmates and threw almost all of it away. The food was worse than like frozen Chinese food. Wings were terrible, the soups were horrible like seriously it was damn near inedible. They didn't give me the egg rolls or cheese Rangoon's I ordered, I really hate leaving bad reviews, but save your money, it was a huge waste and bigger disappointment. Food here was okay. Nothing really special with the order I placed. I got the sweet and sour shrimp and it was good and had good flavor. I asked for shrimp fried rice and they charged me for it but gave me plain fried rice and I realized once I got into my apartment. I also ordered an order of crab Rangoon and honestly they are probably the worst I've ever had. It was more dough than filling and they only gave you 2 for like $6 which is a lot for the quality of them. I'm honestly surprised by all the not so great reviews about this restaurant! I've been here multiple times since they have opened and always have a great experience. Also I've always been at night so maybe that's the difference. Usually when I go there's only like one or two other tables of customers. The location is close to me and I always see it very clean. The only negative thing I can say is that a couple of the tables had dirty plates on them and it was a good while before anyone picked them up. Other than that all the other tables were clean, the floors were clean. I really like coming here because the prices are amazing and the portions are great! They have really good sesame chicken. Personally I like it cause it's not spicy. They're fried rice is kinda plain but good. I love their egg rolls! The egg drop soup is bland, I could do with or without it. In the reviews people complain about the food taking long which I can say it usually does take like 15 mins before I get my food but I'm always ok with waiting for fresh food. I mean why would you want your food to come out instantly? That means it's been sitting there. As long as they keep their prices reasonable I'll keep coming back. read more

So the food here is spectacular amazing Chinese I feel is a lot better than most Chinese places and fairly priced for the location it being downtown. But the lack of service will be the end of this place sadly. Left 3 stars cause the food holds it up. Great egg drop soup and amazing chow mien. Sadly skip the restaurant experience and just order to go. I really want this place to do well hard finding delicious Chinese food. If I did as a togo easily a 5 star. This place is amazing , they've been doing the best they can with take out during the pandemic, you can tell because of how busy it gets there and that's just by witnessing it from outside. every order I've got from here takes less then 10 minutes to receive if you've already ordered over the phone.
