I ordered delivery. Never heard of this place before but decided to give it a try. My food did show up timely and still very hot. I ordered egg drop soup and a chicken pad Thai. The soup looked like pure egg yolk. Thick and very deep in color. Taste wise it lacked flavor. Also it came plain. I was expecting some fried wontons and green onions. The pad Thai had very little sauce so all the noodles were clumped together. There was also way too many peanuts. It over powered any flavor that it might have contained. All I tasted was peanut. ordered some pretty tasty take out with the family meal. everything was VERY flavorful without being overly salty. the egg rolls were some of the best i've had in a while. hot and sour soup definitely the best i've had yet while in texas. the shrimp fried rice was delicious and the shrimp weren't overcooked at all, so soft and juicy! we got the general tso chicken and it was very moist. we also ordered some curry noodles with pork. some of the pork was a littttttle over cooked and dry but some of it wasn't. there was a bit of a spicy-ness to it which i loved! i can't wait to come back to this area to try more stuff off of the menu. read more

We received a flyer in the mail today and decided to check this place out. Our waitress, Angel, was very polite and and attentive, had excellent recommendations, as well as being prompt. The jasmine hot tea is great, the spicy egg drop soup is on point, and their tofu lo mein was perfect. We will be back again soon for the yummy food and the great service!! read more

The manager there is so rude. I had a complaint with my delivery and he handled it very poorly. He did not try to accommodate me or keep my business. He just kept making sarcastic comments like "your food comes in a microwave safe container you can just heat it up" Everyone knows that. Excellent prices and very quality take out. Really has a good and simple selection of Chinese take out staples. The cream cheese ragoons were super good, I could have eaten an entire order to myself, and I may just do that next time! My take out order did lack a sauce for our egg rolls, but the food was quality and a great value. Holy sugar... everything was terribly sweet and extremely salty. The food otherwise lacked any flavor whatsoever, maybe a hint of ginger and a faint taste of garlic but mostly soy, sugar, and vinegar in the Sichuan shrimp. Would give 1 star but I'm not petty. The Chinese food is rather mediocre at it best. Sure the restaurant looks nice but the food was more okay than good. I ordered my usual beef and broccoli and it did not have that savory meat gravy with ginger seasoning. The portion was alright but I left a lot of food behind. We are new to this area, and decided to try this restaurant as it was close to where we are staying. Stopped by for take out around 7:00 pm. A few people on the patio. The bartender was also waiting on tables outside, took about 12-15 minutes before he had a chance to take my order. The order .consisted of chicken lettuce wraps ( the best thing was the romaine lettuce was fresh), bbq ribs more fat and gristle then meat, overly salty & sweet sauce, and the tiniest spring rolls I have ever seen; pretty sure these were from a bag of frozen. Old location of kungfu noodle I think is what it was called-for two meals totaling $24 we got: pad thai, (2) cream cheese Rangoon, panda delight, 2 wonton soups, 1 egg roll. The portion sizes of the entrees were surprisingly huge, we took some home and had enough for a full meal for both of us. The taste is much fresher than any other Chinese place I've been to in SA and the staff was attentive. We hope this one stays in business as the food is worth it so please give it a try! read more

It said an hr for us to get our food well it came within 45 mins. Impress with the arrival time then we started to eat. Wow, the food was very warm, the sides were too. We loved the egg rolls, the entrees. But not so much the basic fried rice. It had one pea one corn and that's it for veggies. We had asked for extra spicy on one of the entree, I think they forgot. This place is pretty much just a glorified Panda Express with smaller portion sizes and a larger price tag. Don't get me wrong the food is good but the customer service could use some fine tuning. There was this one waitress who's demeanor was cold as ice and seemed annoyed to take our order. My friend had never been here before and when he asked her a question about the menu all her replies seemed angry and abrupt. Also when she got our drinks wrong and we kindly asked her to bring the correct drink, she took the drink away without saying a word, came back with the new one without even looking at us or saying a word. I am aware that none of this is really that bad but what takes the cake is when some other customers showed up, who happened to be white, she was SOOOOO friendly to them. This is now my favorite Chinese food restaurant in town, no question. Everything my wife and I ordered was delicious, you MUST try the lemon grass wings! We have been here for dinner and today we came for lunch, the only reason I deducted a star was because they appeared to be short staffed, the wait staff that were present were friendly and accommodating as possible, but at times we had to wait longer than usual for food, drinks and the bill which can pose a problem for persons trying to get back to work on time. First off the food is amazing. Also so is the customer service! Originally I ordered through Uber eats , twice, which I don't recommend due to Uber eats canceling my order. However, the restaurant was so kind to call me and offer their own delivery driver to deliver my food. Honestly this was so kind of them and I really recommend this place because of it all.
