First time visiting this Bambu location. Parking is plentiful. Small shop with a couple of seats inside. Awesome Trio: red, white, mung beans, Taro, pandan jelly, coconut (4/5). Always a good combination of various beans and flavors. They seem to have a few more new menu items, which i would be interested in trying the next time, it looked like pandan and almond pudding.

I love coming to Bambu whenever I'm craving che. Service has always been really good. The workers are very friendly and our orders come out super fast. My go-to would have to be the Bambu Favorite ($8.50). It has coconut milk with red tapioca, pandan jelly, and grass jelly. So so so good! The vibes and the decor in the store was also super cute and colorful. There was plenty of seating to sit and enjoy your drinks and also parking wasn't bad at all.

Stopped in for an afternoon dessert. My date ordered the Mangonada Smoothie which is topped off with a tamarindo stick for an extra kick. I ordered the Fruit Addict dessert -- loved the refreshing combo of coconut juice, assorted fruit, coconut slices, and pandan jelly. You can customize most of the drinks on the menu so if there is something you especially like (or don't like) -- make sure to ask the associate. Indoor and outdoor seating is set up if you want to hang out for a bit.

My go to for Vietnamese dessert. Fast service with friendly staff, this location is very convenient for anyone in the evergreen area. It has lots of parking available and is always clean with a light modern aesthetic.

This is one of the two in the area. Lots less busy. Enjoying one of my favorite drinks. Nice ambiance. Only issue is they don't give napkins.

We've been coming here for years so I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this spot yet! Bambu is my go to spot when I'm craving che (Vietnamese dessert). This location is small but they have a few tables inside if you're looking to sit and enjoy your dessert. They recently redid the decor as well. I almost always get #10 the Bambu Favorite--I guess it's called the favorite for a reason! It's so good with the perfect amount of creaminess from the coconut milk and QQ from all of the jelly. My family also really likes the smashed avocado one. They have a lot of other options including coffee and smoothies as well. Pro tip: If you're not digging into your order right away, you can ask for ice on the side!

Nothing beats Vietnamese dessert from Bambu. They never miss and I go here when I'm craving Vietnamese dessert. They have so many options from viet desserts, to coffee, or milk tea drinks. During summer, they had mango sago too (never got to try bc they ran out). The service is quick, doesn't take more than a few minutes. I jump between the smashed avocado and the Bambu favorite. They accept Apple Pay and work with five stars to get you points for free/discounted drinks !

Went here last Thursday with my mom and it has never disappointed me anytime I visit! Always been here my whole life so and it's the closest DECENT che you'll get around here. My go-to has always been the #10. Never goes wrong! The service was good, the drinks were good, and the ambiance was just fine!

Dirty cup after I asked the workers to remake my cup.

I went there and got four drinks, they're all good except for one. The one they messed up on was the red bean and taro. What they did wrong was mess up the taro and red bean ratio, there was a significant amount of taro compared to the red bean and took up most of the space. Naturally, the name red bean AND taro made me assume that there would be roughly half of both ingredients, and I know that no one is perfect but there was just too much taro. I wasn't very upset until I asked them to remake my drink because of their customer satisfaction policy. They refused and only offered to make half of the drink, but there was no fine text on their policy that said they wouldn't make a full cup. When I insisted for a full cup, they demanded that I paid when that also went against their own policy. Their customer service was horrendous and left me unsatisfied. When they finally made my drink, the cup was dirty and I gotten glares from one of the two workers at the front.

Quick take: Overdue review I've been coming to this spot for many years. Very friendly service. Lots of customers coming and going even on a cold rainy day. My dentist is in this plaza. So as soon as my teeth are squeaky clean, I go straight to Bambu for some chè. I order everything that doesn't have mung bean. Today I ordered #10.

Pic of the avocado shoved in the cup without anyone caring do at least mix it with the condensed milk.

I arrived about 10 minutes prior to my estimated pickup time and the egg rolls (netted and regular) were ready but the Banh Khot were still being cooked. The estimated pickup time on the website was pretty accurate. Everything made the 35 minute journey and stayed crispy!! The regular egg rolls were tasty but nothing special. The netted egg rolls however, I'd come back for. They were crispy all throughout and the filling was well seasoned. The Banh Khot were very crispy with a nice and pleasant chew from the coconut batter. My husband loved the flavor and texture. I wasn't a huge fan of the coconut flavor being so prominent but I know that's a staple of Banh Khot batter. Next time I'd skip the regular egg rolls but I'm happy I tried them!

The hubby and I placed our order & we picked up on a Friday night to bring back home. It was not too busy & they had our food ready pretty immediately. I ordered way too much food, but I was excited to try everything. I would have loved to have had everything fresh & hot, but we live a little ways away, so by the time we got the food home, some things needed a quick reheat. I ordered the pork & shrimp eggrolls, banh khot, pork & shrimp net eggrolls, chicken wings w/ garlic noodles, & the pork spring rolls. Needless to say, we had leftovers - it was a lot of food for just 2 people! I really enjoyed the banh khot & net eggrolls - they were flavorful & I enjoyed the texture of the net eggrolls. I had to save the print rolls for the next day, but I enjoyed them (though, I know they were probably perfect the same day.) I just couldn't make room for all that food. I think the one surprising disappoint for me were the garlic noodles. I expected more of a kick and generally more flavor from the noodles, but they ended up being relatively mild. Don't get me wrong, we still ate it all, but I just expected more umph. All in all, I enjoyed the food & would love to order from here again!

Mixing it with the noodles, herbs, and peanuts made for a great combination of textures and flavors. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly even though the restaurant was busy. Despite it being in a big lot, parking still took a while to find. Thankfully, we had thankfully just beat the lunch rush and not had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. My friend and I shared a Northern spread (Bun Cha Ha Noi) and a Southern style Goat Curry (Banh Mi Cari De). Service was definitely on the slower side that day, but thankfully we were proactive at getting the orders in. The Bun Cha Ha Noi was delicious - pretty much a DIY spring roll - all the fun, all the mess, with none of the clean up other than licking the plates clean. The pork belly was delicious; I was surprised how much I liked it, since I'm not a fan of pork. I devoured numerous rolls, and we also had some extra vermicelli to finish off the rest of the protein. This single meal was definitely more than enough for two! The Banh Mi Cari De (goat curry) was unfortunately quite the opposite. The goat was cooked very well - tough, gamy, and difficult to eat. There were probably six pieces in total, our first was tender, our second had bone, a little harder to chew, and the last was best compared to rubber. The curry was a bit watery, which made the banh mi soggy when dipped in. This was probably an adventurous try, but not a dish I'd ever consider ordering again.

If you can't find parking in that plaza, there's more parking across the road where the Target is. After spending about ten minutes on the written wait-list, our names were called. It's definitely a little easier communicating with much of the staff if you speak Vietnamese, and I find that waiting right outside the restaurant is best because they default to calling your name from the door once it's your turn. The interior is crammed with tables; the atmosphere feels busy and warm. There is a single room women's bathroom and men's bathroom in the back as well. The decor leans toward being classic more than trendy, which I liked. The menu is pretty big, offering a variety of items ranging from mainstream Vietnamese options to ones I don't encounter as often. I recommend eating family-style for many of these dishes, including the Bún Chả Cá Lã Vọng, which I enjoyed with my partner. The prices are pretty average, and their portions are generous. That said, they are cash or Zelle only. There is an ATM that you can use if you forget to bring cash, but this is still something to keep in mind. Overall, I can definitely see myself coming back. I wish I had the stomach capacity to try more of their dishes at once, and I 100% recommend that anyone give this place a shot.

Of course, I had to order all the essentials: banh beo, banh nam, banh loc, banh ram it, and cha. I was especially craving Bun Bo Hue, so that was my main dish, while my friend ordered the Mi Quang. The appetizers were all good and definitely satisfied my craving for Hue-style snacks. Unfortunately, the Bun Bo Hue was disappointing. The broth had a strange flavor and was missing the rich, hearty depth that makes Bun Bo Hue so comforting and memorable. I honestly found it surprising that a restaurant specializing in Hue cuisine would miss the mark on one of its most iconic dishes. Another thing I noticed was that the vermicelli noodles were broken into many small pieces, which made me feel like they weren't particularly fresh. It definitely affected the overall eating experience. Before leaving, I also ordered a banh canh to go. That ended up being really good, though I personally wasn't a fan of the fresh-cut noodles. By the time I got home, they had expanded quite a bit in the broth and became softer than I prefer. Overall, I enjoyed everything except the Bun Bo Hue. The appetizers were solid, the banh canh was tasty, and I'd come back for those items. However, the Bun Bo Hue is one dish I probably won't order again.
