Came here on a Saturday morning around 9:30am. There was a line when we got here that was out the door. It is really small inside and no space for a line so the line was relatively short and took about 7 minutes to get through. We ordered (there were three of us), got a seat inside which seemed unlikely while we were waiting in line but people come and go here which helps with turnover for tables. They also have a few picnic tables outside. They deliver the food to your table but there is no table service, you must order at the counter. They also do not have sparkling water, or didn't that day, and no coffee refills, and if they do they do not tell you. This place is famous for pies and biscuits and a southern / southwestern theme. I got the bacon biscuit, with egg, and a slice of key lime pie. The biscuit was so starchy, thick, and honestly very delicious. It was hard to chew at times because of the gummy nature of it but again delicious and full of textures. The egg was almost sous vide or poached. It was too overdone for my liking, my yolk was hard. It also came with caramelized bacon. Overall very filling, dense. My partner got the biscuits and gravy, the gravy was sweet, thinner than I had seen but it was good. It was a little floury like it needed to be cooked a little more but it was overall good. My child ordered a rainbow cookie that we never actually got, but it was so busy we didn't care / couldn't stand up from our seats without someone trying to take them. He also got a side of bacon, a biscuit, and a glass of milk. He was happy with his food. The pie, incredible, perfectly tart. You must get the key lime. I wanted to buy a whole pie when I finished my meal but again the line.. Great place for a quick breakfast! read more

Girlfriend was looking up somewhere to go for breakfast and stumbled upon Bang Bang. Was so happy to see everything is scratch made and there's ingredients from small local farms. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly service. We went with the chocolate chip cookie, sweet biscuit, slice of key lime, and the gravy biscuit. The cookies was poet gooey so chocolatey and enjoyed the finishing salt. House made strawberry jam went with the biscuit and butter. Key lime slice had all the elements. Gravy biscuit was on point. That gravy was phenomenal great pepper taste but not overpowering. Loved how the yolk came out of the egg on top to cover all the biscuit. So happy my gf found Bang Bang. You can't place an order by phone. They want you to use the app or DoorDash. But there are items on the website menu that aren't available on DoorDash or the app. They know this, but they still don't take phone orders. You can come in to order and wait, but there's often a long line. It's really annoying bc the BLT biscuit is my favorite breakfast item in the city, and I let them know about this issue over a month ago. Still can't order it online. Or over the phone. Came here with the girlys for some delish breakfast food and pie! There was a line out the door (which can be intimidating) but I promise it goes by fast! They have indoor and outdoor seating. Their outdoor space makes you feel like you're having a nice picnic outside. It was so hard not getting each flavor of pie. They rotate their pie flavors I just don't know how often. I don't really like pie too much but this place knows how to make them. I ended up getting the matcha smores and the sweet corn cheesecake. The matcha smores was good but the matcha flavor was lacking - just tasted more like fudge/chocolate. The sweet corn cheesecake was so good!! Friendly service, I was greeted as I walked in and was able to order right away. I ordered the biscuit and gravy with the works. The biscuit itself was super fluffy, and not too dense which made it enjoyable to eat and not get stuck in your throat. The egg was served round, atop the biscuit and it was surprisingly over easy with a runny yolk. The sausage tasted amazing with a very strong fennel flavor, which I liked. The gravy... Well, probably not the best Ive had but with everything else so good on the plate, it's easy to overlook that. I enjoyed the outdoor bench seating, although there are indoor tables available as well. Traveled a good distance to pick up a pie because all of their pies are exceptional. This time the blackberry-lime-basil pie truly peaked my interest. While there, we were drawn in by the cozy eat-in area and patio. The biscuit sandwiches are now a new obsession. In particular - the chicken sausage, cheese and peach habanero jam (OMG) was plate licking delicious as was the biscuit and sage gravy and biscuit. I love that they change up their pie flavors regularly. On our most recent visit, we stopped in and ordered a Frankenpie - three different slices of pie in a half-pie container. We'd ordered it to go, so we sat at the counter and waited well over a half hour for our pie to be ready. It wasn't just us waiting, as we saw a few other people go up and ask about their order. I'm not sure why they were so backed up that simple pie orders couldn't be resolved more efficiently. If anything, I wish we'd been informed while placing our order at the counter that they were backed up and could expect a wait. I finally made it to Bang Bang!! I've been in the city for a long time and I've had their pie via delivery but never the elusive biscuits. I found myself in the area early enough in the day to stop by. I kept it really simple: one sweet and one savory biscuit. I loved the sweet one with the seasonal jam: strawberry passionfruit I think. It was my first time at Bang Bang Pie today, but it won't be my last. My friend and I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie. It had a nice crust and was chock-full of chicken pies and plenty of veggies. I had their Toasted Coconut Pie for dessert, and my friend ordered the Key Lime Pie. We topped it off with good coffee. I didn't like two things: the door to the outside eating area was left open most of the time, and it was still a little chilly this morning. The Key Lime pie has the perfect tartness to it and I love the crust! The pandan pie was incredible, paired with a nice caramel sauce on the bottom and a coconut macaron crust, I highly recommend! We stopped in at Bang Bang amidst our own personal bakery tour. They were pretty swamped for a Friday morning so we ended up waiting a little bit for our food. We decided to get a slice of the seasonal pie flavor: apple cider donut and we were a little underwhelmed. The flavor was good - no qualms there - but the texture of the cider gelee was unappealing. It was thick and separated all the custard from the crust when you cut a piece. It was doing its own thing and never really brought the pie together. We did also get a biscuit which was the star of our time here. The biscuit was buttery and soft and the jam was amazing. Also, don't sleep on their vegan sugar cookie! It was good! After waiting for about 15 minutes (which is short apparently), we ordered a Gravy Biscuit, Chicken Pot Pie, and Apple Cranberry. The chicken pot pie was definitely our favorite.
