Came here on a Saturday morning around 9:30am. There was a line when we got here that was out the door. It is really small inside and no space for a line so the line was relatively short and took about 7 minutes to get through. We ordered (there were three of us), got a seat inside which seemed unlikely while we were waiting in line but people come and go here which helps with turnover for tables. They also have a few picnic tables outside. They deliver the food to your table but there is no table service, you must order at the counter. They also do not have sparkling water, or didn't that day, and no coffee refills, and if they do they do not tell you. This place is famous for pies and biscuits and a southern / southwestern theme. I got the bacon biscuit, with egg, and a slice of key lime pie. The biscuit was so starchy, thick, and honestly very delicious. It was hard to chew at times because of the gummy nature of it but again delicious and full of textures. The egg was almost sous vide or poached. It was too overdone for my liking, my yolk was hard. It also came with caramelized bacon. Overall very filling, dense. My partner got the biscuits and gravy, the gravy was sweet, thinner than I had seen but it was good. It was a little floury like it needed to be cooked a little more but it was overall good. My child ordered a rainbow cookie that we never actually got, but it was so busy we didn't care / couldn't stand up from our seats without someone trying to take them. He also got a side of bacon, a biscuit, and a glass of milk. He was happy with his food. The pie, incredible, perfectly tart. You must get the key lime. Girlfriend was looking up somewhere to go for breakfast and stumbled upon Bang Bang. Was so happy to see everything is scratch made and there's ingredients from small local farms. Friendly service, I was greeted as I walked in and was able to order right away. I ordered the biscuit and gravy with the works. The biscuit itself was super fluffy, and not too dense which made it enjoyable to eat and not get stuck in your throat. Traveled a good distance to pick up a pie because all of their pies are exceptional. This time the blackberry-lime-basil pie truly peaked my interest. While there, we were drawn in by the cozy eat-in area and patio. The biscuit sandwiches are now a new obsession. In particular - the chicken sausage, cheese and peach habanero jam (OMG) was plate licking delicious as was the biscuit and sage gravy and biscuit. It was my first time at Bang Bang Pie today, but it won't be my last. My friend and I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie. It had a nice crust and was chock-full of chicken pies and plenty of veggies. I had their Toasted Coconut Pie for dessert, and my friend ordered the Key Lime Pie. We topped it off with good coffee. We decided to get a slice of the seasonal pie flavor: apple cider donut and we were a little underwhelmed. The flavor was good - no qualms there - but the texture of the cider gelee was unappealing. The salty top also adds for nice flavor and texture. The biscuit came (as described) duly smothered in the pepper jelly, which was not my personal favorite, however I was still able to enjoy the biscuit. We added the whipped cream to the pie, and it was probably one of the best pumpkin pie slices I've ever had! The texture was dense and not too watery, which is sometimes an issue that pumpkin pies have. The graham crust was also delightful and had a nice flavor similar to gingersnap.
