Fantastic!! Finally, Bend gets a High-end Sausage shop similar to Good Dog Bad Dog in Portland. To my surprise they have MUCH better sausages than GD/BD. I had the Duck & Bacon dog w/Jalapeno. WOW! SooOOOooo GOOD! They have a fantastic tap list, including NUT CRUSHER the most amazing beer ever, AND they will do it as a FLOAT. Wait, WHAT?!?! We are visiting Bend and needed some lunch. We are so glad we decided on Bangers and Brews. They had many styles of sausage and brats. My husband and I are big fans of exotic meats and we were excited to try some of the options. We had elk, wild boar and water buffalo, they were all excellent. We also had the bacon gorgzola fries, the garlic aiole on the fries was awesome. I am so glad we got the fries too. The family that runs the business is very attentive and friendly they checked in on us often. We were not the only customers but sure felt like it. Bangers & Brews has become one of our families favorite spots! The food is wonderful and the owners are so friendly, welcoming and personable. I have Celiac and they do a great good accommodating gluten free and it's a huge plus that their fryer is dedicated gluten free so the fries are safe. If I could give more stars I would. Got the surprisingly exotic rabbit python sausage with a side of gorgonzola bacon fries. The owner came by with a complimentary and extremely authentic chimichuri which threw me back to my time in B.A. Turns out hes actually from Argentina which explained the phenomenal quality of the exotic meats. The entire waitstaff was incredible. Overall great experience in terms of both food and staff especially for the price. My first visit I was impressed. Great personal family run service. The top dog, the elder gentleman is an asset. Had a lamb Banger and it was worthy of a repeat visit! My wife and I stopped by here last Saturday for a quick lunch. I was impressed by the selection of dogs and sausages. They're all locally sources from NW companies as well. I had wild boar and something and it was amazing. They've a great beer selection as well. We were brought a small sampler of bread and Chimi-churi, which ended in me buying a jar to take home. Ok. First: I don't lean toward sausage. I just don't. This isn't something I order, ever. It's not my jam. Because I'd had chicken sausage before, I ordered safely (for me): Chicken sausage with sautéed jalapeños, diced tomatoes and spicy ranch. Also threw in some skinny fries, just in case. I have to tell you, I truly canNOT believe how delicious the sausage was. The toppings were insane. The bread was perfectly toasted. The fries were perfect. Everything about that combo was INsane! Second: my husband ordered the banger (with other delicious toppings, including the chimichuri) and the Mac & cheese. Holy HELL! I didn't take a bite of the banger because I was thoroughly enjoying my own but I did have numerous bites of the Mac & cheese and it was literally out of this world. Best Mac & cheese EVER!!! No joke. This was the first full dinner I've seen my husband eat every last bite of in a LONG time. I'm so hooked. If you want an amazing meal in Bend, look no further. This is it. This place is so good! I'm not a hot dog person but they take sausages to the new extreme! They have a wide variety of things to choose as toppings for your sausage. The picky eater can eat here as well as the explorer. The staff was very friendly. We brought our dog to eat on the patio and they brought her a water bowl and check up on us and came to pet our dog! Every time we come to Bend we eat here 2-3x, with as many amazing food places in Bend that should be a statement on its own. Driving through Bend on a trip, we found this place recommended on Yelp and gave it a try. It was excellent! During our vacation in the Northwest, it was the best restaurant we frequented. Very creative menu and a very friendly, personable host taking orders (I am assuming he was the owner or the main manager). Between my wife, children, and me, we tried the Bangers and Mash, a salad, some kids' food, and some side dishes. We shared a mixed berry/cheesecake in a jar for dessert too. Everything was delicious and attractive, and fairly priced in my opinion for the high quality. This is a legitimate five star restaurant! If we are ever back in Bend, we will be back to Bangers and Brews. read more

I am very impressed with this place... My spicy Italian pork sausage was awesome. High quality link, nice soft bun. Sweet peppers and onions on top were a nice compliment. The fries were just the way I like them - skinny, crispy and perfectly seasoned. And the chimichurri is, by far, the best I have ever had. I had it on my sausage, dipped my fries in it, ate it with bread. It's got a little kick to it - the chimichurri to end all chimichurris... The staff is upbeat, very friendly and accommodating and the place has a very chill vibe. I wish we had something this good in the Bay Area where I'm from. Had the chicken apple sausage which was amazing and the sweet potato fries are super good. Their homemade chimichurri is excellent as well. Plus the tap list of brews is on point. This is best restaurant in Bend. Marcello cares so much about his service and quality of his food - he came out after our meal to ask how it was because the vegetarian sausage was new. The hot dogs are amazing. We had chicken and vegetarian hot dogs and both were brilliant. Next time we plan to try wild boar and duck. If you're in Bend you HAVE to try this place.
