Coconut Shrimp as an appetizer were extremely tasty. Oriental Chicken Salad was very fresh! Loved the mandarin oranges and water chestnuts. The Shrimp Chips were plentiful as a pre meal munchie. Service was good. Will go back so can try some of the soups!

Ordered to go- NO inside dining. The chicken and shrimp Pad Thai- was ok but noodles overcooked. My friends spicy basil chicken was good.Ordered Coconut soup, and there was only a quarter of the bowl full. They need to give full portions on to go orders since they are only surviving with to go orders.

Lunch! Pad thai chicken with wide noodles, peanut sauce, shrimp chips & thai iced tea with boba

Pad Thai chicken with wide noodles, coconut chicken soup, shrimp chips with peanut sauce and a thai iced tea with boba. My go to when it comes to Thai food 4.3 of 5 Stars* -Lunch menu has many options and is priced reasonably -My whole meal was delicious, just wished the noodles weren't cut to bite sized pieces. That's why I order wide noodles... for the length -I don't know of they give shrimp chips with every order or just for lunch but it was an added bonus. The waitress suggested I dip then into the peanut sauce I ordered and it was a hit -All the food came out at a great time, idk if it was because I was the only one in the restaurant but no wait at all -Fork n Fly

I had a terrible experience tonight I ordered teriyaki steak and it was tough, watered down and flavorless. The owner/chef, refused to refund my money even though I exchanged the steak for pad thai, which is five dollars cheaper. I know we don't have a lot of great food options around these parts, but I will take my hard earned dollars to Conyers and spend them there. See my reviews on "Thai In the Box" or "Baan Thai". They're both very much better, both in taste and quality of their dishes and in service. They are worth the short drive to Conyers.

This is bout all there is to see! They focus on food not decor!

Wonderful! My taste buds were dancing with every bite! We started with the pot stickers because I haven't met a pot sticker yet that wasn't good but these are made in house and really, really good! Main course - I had the cashew nuts with beef over egg fried rice. It comes with peppers, onions, cabbage, green beans and your choice of meat. I chose beef. Definitely a dish I would eat time after time and again! We will be back! Thanks Yelpers for your reviews. You helped us choose this gem!

    Burnt crab cakes

These are the Maryland crab cakes..completely burnt. They should be ashamed of themselves. I won't be back and I'll be sure that my department doesn't order here for lunch going forward. Pathetic.

I don't even need to caption what's wrong in this picture!! You served me this kind of rice with no second thoughts?!

I just moved down here from Virginia, and I wanted to look around for good, authentic, Thai spots in the area since back home it was around the corner. And I really, and I mean REALLY, wanted to give this place a shot because of the amount of reviews they received. I had ordered the massaman curry, Thai tea, and Thai tea boba through doordash. Massaman curry is suppose to be rich, dark, and brown/yellow colored. And I checked previous pictures on yelp to confirm. And the curry I received was very runny, with a light pink/red to it. I will attach pictures for reference. It was an OKAY curry. Not something to really wow over. Every curry dish is served with jasmine white rice. And to my surprise, my rice had brown spots sitting at the top. Probably from the bottom of the rice cooker where it tends to cook the rice faster. But it's still not a delight to look at first thing when trying out a restaurant for the first time,The peanuts were more on the larger side than what I'm used to. And the chicken was rather chewy. Potatoes were undercooked and the carrots tasted fishy....? I was very throw off and did not bother finishing the rest. The dish itself was not as appealing, but who knows? Maybe they just prepared and packed the wrong curry for my order. But most definitely was not like the ones pictured before. I was so excited to try the Thai tea boba just for them to be out of it!!! No call, no text, nor notification to let me know! I would have been fine with just one regular Thai tea had I known they'd be out of the Thai tea boba. They gave me two regular Thai teas and no compensation for the miscommunication of the Thai tea boba being out, nor offered to charge me the price of a regular Thai tea instead, if I may add. Now finally, the most disappointing of all, the Thai tea itself lacks flavor! It's not even sweet! And I don't know if it's because of their recipe or the fact that my driver missed a turn at my neighborhood and went from 5 minutes away to 15 minutes away, thus watering down the teas, but this is also quite a bummer. And for the price of the tea, I am not surprised at how flavorless it was. Thai teas back home were much more vibrant in color, along with the perfect amount of sweetness and in a fair size. 32oz cups to be exact! They use 12oz to go clear cups and leave all the syrup sitting in the bottom. Will also be attaching a picture for reference. They did not pack any to go utensils or napkins. Maybe I just need to go to Atlanta to find some decent Thai food and Thai tea. UPDATE 6/28/20: They refunded me the amount of both teas

The establishment exuded potential, but upon arrival, I found myself browsing the menu unaided, as no staff member was initially present. Eventually, someone emerged from the back, albeit lacking in enthusiasm or helpfulness. While I understand that everyone has off days or personal matters, their responses to my inquiries were consistently negative, stating that certain ingredients were unavailable. In my opinion, Beefresh could easily achieve a five-star rating with improved customer service and ingredient availability. Furthermore, the actual bowl I ordered contained toppings that were not on offer, adding to the disappointment. Additionally, the application of Nutella and peanut butter was overly generous to the point of excess, necessitating removal, which proved more challenging than expected. In conclusion, I would recommend Beefresh if executed correctly and if all ingredients are readily available. However, if not, I would suggest exploring alternative options for a more satisfying experience.

Tonight we made our way to The Social Goat in Covington, Georgia. Before we even get to the food,…read morethis is the kind of restaurant that has a personality all its own. Goat-themed artwork is scattered throughout the restaurant, including some fun paintings that immediately caught our attention. The atmosphere feels more like a cozy tavern than a traditional taco restaurant, with dark wood, booths, and a comfortable setting that invites you to settle in and stay awhile. One interesting piece of local history is the building itself. We learned that in 1906, this building housed an antique market. Think about that for a moment. If someone was selling antiques here in 1906, some of those "antiques" might have been from the 1800s. More than a century later, the building is still serving visitors, although these days the focus is tacos rather than antiques. Covington itself is worth mentioning. The city has become known as Georgia's Hollywood of the South, with more than 100 movies and television productions filmed here over the years. Fans of The Vampire Diaries and Sweet Magnolias will recognize many locations around town. If you're visiting the area, there is plenty to see before or after dinner. Our server for the evening was Jordan, who provided friendly service throughout the meal. The menu features eleven different taco varieties, which immediately created a dilemma. Narrowing the choices down to just three was not easy. We ultimately chose the Fried Fish Taco, the Philly Taco, and the Sesame Ribeye Taco. The tacos are available as a trio, allowing you to sample three different varieties on one platter. The meal also came with chips, salsa, and queso, making it easy to share and compare flavors. Let's start with the Fried Fish Taco because it ended up being my favorite of the three. The fish itself had excellent flavor and was cooked just right. The taco was topped with a sauce that brought a unique flavor to the experience, and the crunchy slaw added texture that worked beautifully with the fish. Every component contributed something to the overall bite. This was the taco that surprised me the most and ultimately earned the top spot in my personal ranking. The Philly Taco finished a very close second. If you're a fan of Philly cheesesteaks, you'll immediately understand the appeal. Loaded with shaved ribeye, peppers, onions, and cheese, it delivered exactly the flavors I was hoping for. It was rich, satisfying, and packed with flavor. Sometimes simple combinations work for a reason, and this taco proved that point. The Sesame Ribeye Taco was the most unique of the three. The sesame-soy flavor was bold and immediately noticeable. I enjoyed the flavor profile and appreciated that it took the taco in a different direction than what I typically experience. Rather than trying to imitate a traditional taco, it offered something distinct and memorable. Anyone looking for a creative twist on a taco will likely find this one especially interesting. One thing I appreciated about the trio platter was the opportunity to compare very different flavor profiles side by side. The Fried Fish Taco offered a balance of fish, sauce, and crunch. The Philly Taco delivered familiar comfort-food flavors. The Sesame Ribeye Taco brought a bold and unique flavor profile to the table. Each taco had its own personality, which made the comparison part of the fun. The chips were crisp, the salsa was fresh, and the queso provided a nice complement to the tacos. Combined with the trio platter, it was more than enough food for a satisfying meal. The Social Goat manages to be more than just a taco stop. Between the historic building, the goat-themed decor, the welcoming tavern atmosphere, and a menu filled with creative options, it offers an experience that stands out from the typical restaurant visit. If we return, and there is a good chance we will, there are still eight taco varieties left for us to investigate. The Social Goat Tavern 1115 Church Street Covington, GA 30014

I speak from experience as the hanger steak my brother saw online and wanted (which made us pick this restaurant) was not available this particular evening. On to the better stuff: I really liked their welcoming vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Complimentary sourdough bread was immediately served as well as celebratory champagne for my little brother's birthday. We started with the hush puppies appetizer and the French onion dip, which came with a bag of Zappo's potato chips. For dinner, I ordered the four cheese pasta, which I was informed is made in-house and is leaving the menu very soon. My only complaint was the size of the wine pours. When I inquired, they stated the pour was 6 ounces. The kind surprise was a generous top off when they sensed my disappointment. Their kids' menu -which isn't printed - is a little limited. Kids can pick from grilled cheese, chicken skewers, and a hamburger. One kiddo had a hamburger and my son snacked on their shoestring fries. All other adults ordered burgers and everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. One more complimentary surprise showed up near the end of dinner which was a miniature Keylime pie in celebration of my brother's bday. Back home, we have very few restaurants that offer so many complimentary items. That definitely sets this restaurant apart from others. Also, having a small menu means they likely give lots of attention to the entrees they serve. Definitely recommend City Pharmacy!
