Always get good food and portions are large. Usually order the carry out Gang Gai. Tastes good and the chicken satay is great as well.

I just cannot say enough about how AMAZING this place is. The owners are some of the most kind people and they listen to you when you ask for specific items. I have always loved spicy food, but this is the only place that listens to me and actually makes it spicy. Thumbs up, chicken peti perfectly prepared to order, spiciness right on and the flavor was sinfully good to the last bite. Noodles were tender but not starchy or overcooked. Very generous amount of white chicken breast throughout. For a serving that would easily feed two $7.14 was right on the money. Well done Bangkok I will definitely be back. read more

Great Thai food. I get carry out several times per month. My favorites are the peanut curry and pineapple curry, both with tofu. The texture of the tofu is perfect and the vegetables are fried perfectly as well. The sauces are amazing, I'd recommend ordering extra on the side as you can never have enough. Prices are great as well, I end up spending only a few extra dollars compared to what I spend on cooking Thai at home. read more

Really great authentic Thai take-out. Come in here pretty often and each dish is always consistent. Never had a bad experience. There's a really nice couple who work here and they're always friendly when I see them. Price is about $10 for dinner, lunch is about $5. Kind of a hole in the wall place, but if you love Thai, this is a great place to go for takeout. read more

Pretty decent Thai. Great carry-out service, they never get our order wrong. Wish they had more salad options but when I get the Thai salad, it is fresh with nicely done tofu. I received soup with only coconut milk and green onion in it and the Pad Thai tastes entirely of vinegar - both times I ordered it.

They make great Thai food but are not kid friendly, no kid dishes or even side orders.

I've been here three times now, probably won't go back. The people are nice, the food is sort of okay. They use dehydrated basil flakes in their gang gai, which I've never seen at any other thai restaurant. Super salty. All around, it seems like a step down from most thai places. If you did not know they were there you would miss them. This family run restaurant is primarily a take out restaurant though you can eat inside if the three tables are not taken. My wife and son really have liked everything they have ordered here. For my part I typically stick to the Pad Thai and have enjoyed their consistency. Good food at a reasonable price. read more

Probably more of a three minus. Tried this place last night hoping to find a decent Thai restaurant in north Oakland county. I was pretty disappointed. The hot and sour soup was too salty and although it had a slight sour flavor it had NO heat what so ever. The Siam crispy roll was pretty good but nothing special. The Pad Siew was a little too sweet which would have been ok if there was heat to balance it out but there was none. I may give this place another try because everyone has a bad day. Well actually that's not true as the good restaurants pride themselves on nit only quality but on consistency. Come on guys, you can do better. read more

I was very excited when I saw a place in Clarkston that was rated good for Thai food. After 2 meals here I am not impressed whatsoever. The Pad Kra Kriem is unlike anything I've had. Instead of a light sauce it's really thick like gravy. Never had it like that before. Spring rolls are okay. Pork panang curry is really light and not thicker like every other Thai place. This place will do because there's no competition. Their best item is the fried rice. read more

My family loves Thai and have tried most of the Thai restaurants around White Lake and Waterford. We tried the Bankok Thai Express today and it was a surprise. Each of my family thought their dinner was the best Thai they have had. I had the Curry Pad Ped, my wife had Pad Thai and my son had the Low Pad Fried Rice. All three were amazing. We will be coming back to Bankok Thai Express on Thai night. read more

This place was so gross. First of all I watched a cook use is bare hands to grab something and put it in a container. Second I ordered hot and sour soup that was so thick we couldn't eat it. Third the prik kinhg chicken which only contains chicken in green beans in a curry sauce was so salty and hardly had any green beans( the ones that were in there were so crunchy) threw that away instantly. The other meal we ordered was kow pad prik w/chicken-mild. Tasted like Chinese absolutely no flavor and veggies were crunchy as well. Threw it all away and went to so thai. Tried for the first time last night and loved it! My wife is usually picky when it comes to Thai and Chinese cuisine so we normally frequent a spot in Grand Blanc that was near her work and she knew she liked. Good food, but inconvenient compared to where we live on weekends when we are in the mood. And then Yelp led me here one Sunday evening - we could not be happier! The young lady taking our order was awesome with suggestions, wish I had caught her name because she was a pleasure to talk to. We were both inclined to order Pad Thai, but she suggested one of us try the Pad Thai Curry - perfect! It was spicy just the way I like it. I ordered medium expecting it to be hotter and it delivered. I would probably actually go with mild plus next time. We added the pineapple fried rice on the side which rocked! I loved the added sweetness of pineapple to an already solid chicken fried rice. This is our new Thai carryout spot. Closer to home and awesome food. I look forward to being a regular. read more
