the banh mi here is amazing and fresh with so many options. be mindful that is it cash only but well worth it as you can see them make it right in front of you. their drinks were good, we got the passion fruit sugar cane and ca phe sua da. will come again!

I went to Bahn Mi Saigon to get the usual subs and the pork buns. I wanted to use my debit card to pay but the owner wanted to use cash instead. I never carry cash. The owner claimed the debit machine is not working properly and that she claims she did not know how to use the debit card machine which is total bull crap. She also packed 6 pork buns when we only wanted 4. She even had the nerve to nickel and dime us for getting more items which we did not want. My wife gave cash and was not happy. I am not happy. Sad to say I will not be going there anymore. What a crooked lady and business. Terrible.

Just finished a 14km bike ride and I was lucky to ride past. The sandwiches are always so fresh and never disappoints. Everything is prepared in house.

This place is kind of like target, you come in for one thing you end up with a whole basket. They will always promote their other items like freshly made che and spring rolls. They only accept cash. Smaller store with a designated waiting area. Service is quick. The pate chaud looks super flaky but I didn't get one because they were left open and cold on the counter. The special banh mi (#1) was good! I don't think most places add xiu mai to their dac biet versions. Huge sandwich that barely fits in the bag. I would skip their ba chi banh mi, the bacon cuts are usually mostly fat.

They take order ahead but service is super quick. We got the special and lemon grass pork banh mi - both $8. Both are delicious with the bread being super fresh and crispy. Special banh mi is better than the pork. What a hidden gem. 10/10 would come back again for more take out! Don't forget, cash only.

Each Banh Mi is packed full. You can customize the sandwich if you don't like something. I enjoyed the chicken with no mayo, and also the pulled pork

I understand the price is getting higher little by little, like $0.25 more at least every year, But I would say their bahn mi is so huge. Quality is the same, and they serve home made fresh baguette. Those are positive parts of this store. A Cashier? Owner lady and big tattooed guy who is in charge of cashier are never friendly. I never heard their "thank you" to the customers. But the sandwich makers girls are so friendly and polite.

We always go here for great Vietnamese Sandwiches and for the quick service. Super friendly staff who encourages you to buy other items such as egg rolls and their giant "banh bao" aka meat bun. What can I say....I was a sucker and bought 4 buns......they were fluffy and perfect. Typical deli style location with a Vietnamese market vibe. Quick in an quick out...better know what you want or move out of the line. Our latest visit was bit disappointing because the food tasted a bit too salty....otherwise, it would have received a 5 star. The siu mai banh mi also tasted like it had the same meat mix as the banh bao.....which kinda ruined it for me but otherwise, the other options are still good. Would we come back, of course! The bread is still the best you can find once you're in the area. Easy lunch/snack before heading to the nearby parks

love banh mi sandwiches and so glad i got to try one while in vancouver. i read this place usually has a line but when we came, it was empty. it was on a weekday early lunch. not sure how this place is on weekends. my husband and i shared #1, special. it was so big! the bread tasted so fresh: it was crispy on outside but the inside was so soft. inside was full of filling, delicious! cash only!

Enjoyed the sandwiches and the 6 color drinks. Fresh bread and ingredients. Didn't know what headcheese was, this was in one of special sandwiches. It was tasty, but texture was different for me. Next time, I visit I'll try something less exotic. The 6 colors drink was colorful and iced and refreshing. It satisfied my sweet tooth and thirst on the warm day

My favorite cafe in North America to date. === Food === I ordered an iced pineapple matcha with oat milk which was mind blowing. My family got a hot matcha and an americano which they both said was great. The matcha was well presented and had perfect ratios - the color was vibrant and you couldn't taste the milk or water at all, it was so so good. I also ordered the caprese toast and it was probably the best caprese I've had, tied with Oven & Shaker in Portland when they had it on the menu. My family got the overnight oats and a croissant and said those were both good, but I think the caprese was the standout. === Service === I went on a holiday so there was a long line out the door but we still managed to snag a seat at the front. Food and drink didn't take that long. Friendly service, although they had pineapple matcha written with dry erase marker on their menu and when I asked for it they said it wasn't on the menu (but luckily they still had it). === Ambiance === Parking might be a little hard but the interior is very beautiful and they have a separate section for those who want to use their laptops and not. They ask that you use your laptop for a maximum of an hour.

This time on my visit, I got the pistachio matcha latte with soy milk (hot), and the ham and cheese croissant. The latte had a really nice matcha flavor, and was the right amount of sweetness for me. I couldn't really taste the pistachio at first, but after having a few more sips, I noticed the slightly nutty flavor. I would definitely get this again. The croissant was nice and flaky, and had a good amount of filling in it. It was seasoned well and I liked how the cheese oozed out a bit too. The customer service here was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I accidentally forgot to mention that I wanted to sub the milk for soy, and they were happy to change this as they were making my drink.

Italiana was so good. Double Prosciutto!! Truffle flavor was strong and paired with stracciatella cheese. What a great combination! And Arugula was very fresh. Foccacia was very crispy outside and soft inside. One of the best sandwich. I will order again. Monte cristo was also good. Grilled bread was very crispy and nicely pressed. Provolone and prosciutto cotto combination was great, too. Sundried totamto provided great accent. I will order this one again, too. Overall, it was a great sandwich shop. Highly recommend.

Noise level is quite minimal with the quiet chatter here and there, making it a good spot to get some work done while people watching. My go-to's for ordering are their matcha drinks for sure. Strong matcha taste and the right amount of sweetness. I've tried the original matcha and the ube matcha before and both were pretty good. If I'm feeling like drinking coffee, I liked their dirty ube latte! I do prefer my coffee on the sweeter side, so something to keep in mind if you're into darker roasts. Also had their hazelnut latte and that was on the bitter side (for my tastes). We also ordered a matcha cookie the last time we were there and it had a strong matcha taste as well. On the sweeter side though since there was also white chocolate/macadamia bits. Would pair well with an espresso. Would definitely come again (as I have already)! From the outside looking in, i used to drive by thinking it was a vietnamese movie rental place But to my surprise when i walked in, it was a grocery store / whole in the wall truly authentic vietnamese sandwich food shop. So humbling to get to discover this place. It's super small but the service is splendid and very personal. The menu reminds me of a screen saver, it flashes and changes. Super easy to read, cashier worker was really good at recommending items. But since i'm half vietnamese, i wanted to try it all anyway. But if i were to recommend a specific item it would be definitely try the vietnamese steamed rice rolls. They make it fresh to order. There are various flavours to choose. They pack the toppings and sauce onto the side so nothing gets soggy or spills in the car etc. I tried the honeycomb pandan baked cake for very first time and omg it was so amazing ! Texture is bouncy and flavour packed. This place takes cash and debit only! You can call in and pre order or if you're good with reading vietnamese .. you can even pre order on their website.
