Hey yawl! Im so excited to be writing a review about this place considering my last 2 reviews were negative. After my Kinstretch class at Kodawari I noticed this cute little spot walking distance away so I figured I would give it a try. I went around 11:30 so it was not busy at all. When I first walk in the first thing I noticed how clean and bright it was, there was a sweet girl at the register( I forgot her name I'm sorry) and she did not hesitate to ask me if it was my first time in, when I said yes she dove right in to tell me everything they had to offer on their menu, she even let me sample a few of the drinks, I tried the sangria(delicious) and the strawberry ginger(refreshing). I decided on the lavash flatbread and whew it was delicious and very filling, it was nice and crispy with the right amount of toppings,I wanted to save some to take home but I couldn't stop eating lol. The strawberry ginger complimented it well. I asked for my yogurt dip on the side and that was tasty on my pizza to say the least. To be honest the food wasn't even the best part to me, it was the service. While I was sitting at my table a gentleman named Matt came over to introduce himself and ask me how my food was. Come to find out he is the GM and just talking to him for that short time it made perfect sense why he was. He is so personable and kind, and I could tell he has a real passion for what he does and he really cares about the experience guest have in his restaurant. I noticed that they had an icecream machine so while we were chit chatting he lmk that it was free for every guest everyday and you should've seen the way my eyes lit up lol. He told me it was vegan and made with oat milk. The current flavor is green apple with caramel and mmmhmm it was just what i needed after yoga : ). On my way out the door Matt stopped with me at the Icecream machine to see what i thought about it, and once i told him how good it was he offered to give me some to take home, and that to me is top tier service and going above and beyond for your guest. It was so nice meeting him and having such an outstanding experience he has created a guest for life with me. I am always impressed when a restaurant provides great service and food close to closing time. That is exactly what happened tonight: one hour to closing, we were greeted warmly by the friendliest (and handsome) face. I've already been to Bare NaKed as seen in my previous post but tonight I wanted my sisters to experience it. I was a little worried because of the time about the quality of food. Boy I love when a restaurant proves me wrong, no one rushed us, the food was still good. But the highlight of the visit was Matt. He was so sweet and kind, constantly checking up on us. I've had pleasant experiences at Bare Naked every time I have visited but tonight was extra special. Thank you for CONTINUOUS quality service: it's not a fluke people. I think this has the potential to be a five star review once they work out a few kinks. BNK opened about 3 weeks ago near us, so I was looking forward to trying it. Granted, it is another "healthy bowl" concept, but I did like it for the most part. I'd say that it it runs at the same price point as well. $10-16 per bowl depending on what you get. Any protein is going to put you on the higher end of the price point, I ordered online which went smoothly except on the "build your own" option, it notes at the top you can add extra ingredients for a 50 cent charge. I couldn't figure out how to do this since there was no option to add anything extra and I'm sure not every ingredient would be 50 cents. Unlike some other places, you are only allowed to choose 1 base. I think getting to pick 4 extras helps with this, but only having 1 base leaves out have something like a lettuce/kale and rice option which for someone limiting carbs would be helpful. There's also only 1 base (lettuce/kale) that would work if you want to cut out carbs. We opted for the black forbidden fried rice. I am not too familiar with it, but it was mushy. No grains of rice but more of a thick paste. Maybe the consistency of refried beans. The flavor was good, but my bowl was in dire need of some other texture, something crispy. If you are only allowed one base, I think it would be nice to add a half kale/half rice option. There was a lot in the bowl and if it were less mushy and more like rice, I think it would be very tasty. They also have flat bread pizzas, so I hope to try one soon. All of my other ingredients were good and flavorful, Sweet potatoes, fresh corn, black beans, apple, Gorgonzola cheese. I got it with an herb yogurt dressing. It tasted like ranch but I'm not usually a fan of ranch and this was good. Tasted fresh. Again, very few options for low carb available. They have a "grab and go" section. I had ordered a goat cheese dip ($5) but when I arrived to pick up my order, they said they were out. I was disappointed because it was one thing I really wanted to try. They offered for me to pick another selection. My second choice was also out. Lol. The ladies working there all said the goat cheese was their fave and amazing, but it was also popular and sold out quickly. They should have more the next day. I think they may have to increase the supply on this dip. They let me taste the jalapeño edamame dip and it is very good, so I got that one. It's not very hot and just had a little kick. I got wontons to dip, but also got to taste their crispy lavash and it's also yummy. The dip container isn't very large but it's enough for 2 people to have a small serving. I also got rosemary grapes with walnuts. I know how simple this sounds, but it was amazing! Lol Red grapes in olive oil with rosemary and you add roasted walnuts on top. This might have been my favorite thing I ate even though it was so simple. Not a big serving, but enough. Not unreasonable at $3 with the cost of grapes and walnuts today. We also got desserts to try. We got the Passion Fruit curd with Chantilly Cream and the yogurt panna cotta with basil and peach compot. Both of these were good. The passion fruit was a little too sweet for me and could use more of a tangy Kick. I like the panna cotta with peach compote better. Not as sweet. I also want to try their brownie. The decor was very nice and they have these stationary swings for seating in the waiting area. I loved them and they are comfy. All the people working there were very nice! Everything was really clean! We will definitely try again and I'm always happy to welcome a new business to the area! read more

Stopped into this new restaurant and man I'm glad I did! My bowl I had was amazing, flavor packed and full of amazing toppings ! The steak was cooked perfect and the seasoning was Amon point! Definitely on the pricey side but worth it! I seriously can't wait to try the other bowls! I got the No Miss Steak bowl and it had so many tasty toppings and veggies! The bowl was packed with flavor and I liked that it's not just 1 protein 2 veggies and a base like other "fresh bowl" places. I also got the tomato bisque soup and some lavash parm crisps and everything I had I loved. My bowl was $17 plus tax and the bowl of soup (that was more like a cup) was $7 the parm crisps were $1.50. They also offer an assortment of pre packed dips that I will def try next time as well! I got the Tampa Hot bowl and my wife got the No Miss Steak bowl and the food did not disappoint! The bowls were a big portion and could be saved for leftovers. The staff was incredibly helpful, providing recommendations, fast service, and checked in to see if we enjoyed our food. The ambiance is like a modern coastal vibe with plenty of seating indoors and some covered seating outdoors. Definitely will be back and would recommend to anyone visiting! I found this spot on Tik Tok and I knew I had to go. And I am OBSESSED. This place has everything I could ask for - a warm and inviting aesthetic, plenty of options for healthy and fresh foods, a variety of seating, and cocktails on tap! You order at the counter and then take (the cutest) table number to your spot. We got the hummus to start with the lavash for $5 and I was a huge fan. I definitely recommend starting off with one of the many options of dips and chips. Now, for the bowls. My bf ordered the Tampa Hot and I ordered the Roll in a Bowl. While the Roll in a Bowl was a bit on the pricier side of the choices, the portions are huge and come with a vast rainbow of toppings. They gave sooo much ahi tuna - more than any poke bowl I've had before. 100% worth the price. There are plentiful drink options as well. I tried an organic cucumber soda that was quite sweet but super tasty. There are also cocktails on tap that we didn't try this time, but I'm looking forward to it next time. The most exciting find for me is that there is a drive-up pick up window for takeout, perfect for when I need to grab dinner but don't feel like getting out of my pajamas! Stopped in and was amazed to find this hidden gem in south tampa. The restaurant is located next to Kodawari which is a yoga studio with an ice plunge and sauna, so as expected the food here is very health focused and clean. Hawaii Five O flatbread is overall great tasting flatbread. I'm not to hard to please with flatbread though. Came out crispy with nice fresh tasting ingredients. The Kogi pork seemed like just like plain ol pork to me, I didn't taste any marinade or sauce, I could be wrong but I assumed that why it's called kogi pork in the description (supposed to have some sort of marinate). We also got the Roll in a bowl, with the tuna poke, comes with generous portion of tuna and various veggies, while this was good, I'm glad we got the flatbread to share because that was better and more filling. Interior space was larger than expected, lots of comfortable seating, booths on a side were the the first choice for every and all filled up so we got a table in the middle area. There was no wait for ordering or grabbing a table, even on a Saturday night. You order first at the counter. They give you a number and will bring out the food to your table. Happy to have this new fast casual joint in Tampa! The restaurant serves bowls, flatbread, salads as well as custom options. They also have fun selections of cocktails on tap($7). I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. I was able to find a table for 4 but the patio was full. We enjoyed two cauliflower crust pizzas with chicken sausage. The tomato soup portion was huge and delicious. We also had the steak and hit chicken bowl. Some of the Ingres were odd but overall bowls were good. I decided to check this place out and was extremely positively surprised. First of all, I walked up to the counter, and was not only greeted very friendly, but I got a lot of help and good recommendations. I decided to go with the Skinny Mexican although the Hot Tampa also looked delicious. I asked for something refreshing to drink and got the cucumber juice. Great choice. One of the undisclosed, but ultimately unmistakable, toppings on the Moroccan Chicken lavash is broken glass. To be fair, I was truly enjoying the other toppings, but the pain from the broken glass that I fortunately retrieved from my mouth before swallowing really ruined my lunch. I called the restaurant and was placed on an interminable hold for the manager. It's hard to imagine anyone wanting broken glass as a topping, so it's curious how this could have happened. Given how this restaurant was so relaxed in how it received this news, I trust they will be equally cool when they are shut down. In the meantime, and while I love the element of suspense and danger in fiction, I can't recommend this restaurant's food in real life. Update: this restaurant has posted a disingenuous response that notably contains no apology. In fact, was kept on hold for a very long time, the hold music stopped, and then I waited in silence before hanging up. I called again and was addressed disrespectfully. At no point was anyone "attempting to answer." This restaurant is run in a dangerous fashion. Protect yourself and eat anywhere else. read more

My new favorite lunch spot in South Tampa. Great healthy food options! I had the Medi cauliflower pizza with olives, eggplant, red bell pepper, etc with red sauce and it was delicious. I placed my order as a pickup and they have a convenient side window at this location to grab and go. The atmosphere is super cute, complete with plenty of seating including some trendy swings. The menu consists of bowls, salads, and pizzas. I ordered the Fit to be Thai bowl, which was recommended by the cashier and I enjoyed it. The only downside was that the chicken was a bit tough, and a sauce on the side would have suited it well. Disappointed the way my order was handled. Last Friday on 2/4, my colleagues and I placed an online order after hearing great reviews from friends and families. When we arrived to pick up the order, we wanted to split the check since the person accompanied me wanted to pay her own. After we assumed everything was sorted, we went back to our workplace to enjoy the food. When we opened our containers, the dressings we chose for our bowls were not in the bag as well as no silverware. After looking at my receipt, the restuarant also overcharged me on the meal my colleague wanted to pay on her own. After a brief contemplation, I called the restaurant to speak with the manager about the mishaps with our experiences. Drew, the manager was very apologetic and gave me his word the transaction would be credited back on my card on that same day and in good faith, wanted to mail me some vouchers for their mistake. We ended the conversation on good terms. When I checked my bank statement yesterday, I noticed the transaction went through and when I called the restaurant to follow up, Drew admitted that he had lost my information and "was glad" I called back. He shared since the time has passed, he can no longer credit the amount back on my card and can give me 2 free meal vouchers for the inconvenience. I asked him if that was going to cover the WHOLE amount of my order and he said "yes" which does not make sense because my order had 3 1/2 meals (the 1/2 was the overcharged they put on my card). I was willing to give this place another shot even though it was very new and they wanted to work out their kinks. But with mispromises from management has been disappointing to say the least especially since the restaurant group backing this establishment has a good reputation.
