Me second time here since opening -- the customer service is exemplary.. Chris was my server and he recommended the Brussels sprouts -- which were spot on !! He was so knowledgeable--beyond helpful and the consummate professional.

Bareburger bear

I finished up radiation today and wanted to treat myself to some comfort food. Bareburger delivered the family four pack. Burgers and sandwiches came nicely packed and still warm (it's freezing outside and the buns were still warm!!) I finish the delicious burgers and go to clean up and notice that Barebuger staff took time to draw a bear on the take-out bag. It made me very happy, especially today. Thank you!

Spacious ambiance. Reminds me of a diner in California. Amazing menu. Overall friendly service.

The service was amazing all the staff were very attentive and we had the burgers , truffle fries , sweet potato fries and the popcorn chicken and it was all really good they did not disappoint

Guadeloupe burger with pepper jack, avocado, and mushrooms

A few years ago, I went to Bareburger all the time. They had the best quinoa veggie burger. They had so many locations back then. Now, most of their locations have mysteriously disappeared and they've changed their menu. They no longer have the quinoa burger, but they do have a black bean burger. It was good, not as good as the quinoa but decent. Bareburger always left me feeling hungry and never satisfied. Well, after eating there tonight, I was still hungry. I had the Guadalupe with sweet potato fries. This location on the UpperEastside was dark. Looking in from outside I couldn't tell if they were even open. There was only one other table in there, back in the day this place was always packed. It was freezing in there, the burger was warm and the fries were lukewarm. The experience wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I miss how great this place use to be.

Place was completely empty. The food looks good, but had no flavor. Items listed in the description on the menu never made it to the table. Won't be back.

After our visit, I was left lamenting "why did we wait so long to come here?". We came in early on a Monday, before 6:00 and the place already had several tables full. We received a warm Turkish welcome and quickly settled in with menus. Our quick bit turned into mixed appetizer (hummus, babaghanoush, muhmmara, haydari and pink sultan), followed by sigara borek and lamacun. Everything was so good that we overate! I was full after the mezzes but the lamacun was so good...among the best we've had in the NYC area. Service was great too. Just a nice vibe with the friendly owners stopping by each table and saying hello. It was clear there were many regulars eating here and we anticipate more visits ourselves. They have some nice images of Istanbul on the wall and we were just in Turkey a few weeks ago so it felt like we were back there! This place is really a gem and I highly recommend it. Just make sure you bring your appetite because you will fill up when you eat here!

While walking over I realized I'd never been down this street before and started to question if I was going the right way. Then I noticed delivery bikes pulling up so I knew I'd was close by. Inside it was pretty quiet as the staff were busy preparing online orders. I was the only person in the restaurant. As I looked up at the menu, the manager directed me to the paper sheets they have and instructed that I should make my selections on one of them. I went for the create your own option which gave me 2 proteins. I chose salmon and yellowtail, with white rice, wasabi yuzu sauce, and various toppings. When I took my menu to the register, the manager suggested I try either their crab or seaweed salad as they're both popular options. I went for the crab salad. The total for my order was about $14, a welcome difference from a newer poke spot that charges the same for less than half of what I got in my bowl. I was very satisfied with the flavor and freshness of the fish. The rice was well prepared and I did indeed like the crab salad. I can easily see myself adding Poke Burrito to my rotation of lunch locations.

Happy to say I finally had the opportunity to return for an intimate birthday celebration and everything was just how I remembered it. Cute and quaint, with good service and food, a great vibe! Without a doubt I absolutely ordered the roasted corn salad. It has tomatoes, avocado, roasted corn, Romain lettuce, and an amazing dressing. I added the pan seared chicken. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy, and extremely tender, not overdone. The salad was magical just as I remembered it. In addition the guac was fresh and the Hibiscus Margs was a tasty way to wash it all down. It's amazing how I dream about this salad. It's a good thing I don't live close because I would have no problem factoring in this salad which is a little pricey into an almost daily budget. Lol. Needless to say I will not be reminiscing about this salad for two years again. I will be back sooner than you think. A special thanks to our server, whom was a one man show the whole night. Just A Note: Parking can be a bit of a challenge and Carla's is tiny but mighty and absolutely worth it!!

Me and my girl was looking for a coffee shop that was laptop friendly and closed late since we came after work. I was a bit disappointed that they did not serve any alcoholic beverages as I saw a lot of good reviews on that portion. We came, we sat down on a Saturday night. There was only one person at the front and it seemed she was also managing the serving part so it did get pretty hectic at some point. We decided to order the Budae Jigae (Hot Pot), there is no way to alter the spicy level so for those who love spicy spicy, this is for you. Me and my friend was really disturbed by the fact that we were treated some type of way. Maybe it's because we weren't Korean or? Service was slow asf. It took a really long time for them to serve me my iced strawberry matcha drink. And even longer for the food. It was also hard to tag her down, and she seemed pretty annoyed that we had to ask her for multiple items. We were a party of 2 and she only gave us one set of items. I went again by myself the next day to see if it was better service and it was pretty packed. There was actually 3-4 people at the front but even then it was so hard to get someone to take my order, ask for napkins, for the check, etc. While there was no time limit on Saturday, there was a time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes on Sunday. would I go again? Maybe, but it's def veering towards the no side.
