After ordering my ONE meal to go which included a pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and coleslaw, I waited a half hour before My food was ready! Really it's a food truck! Let me start off by saying I RARELY give a low review. I was so disappointed. The outside of food truck row is darling. Lots of choices and cute seating to watch the world go by on 30a. When we woke up in the morning and took a bike ride I could smell the bbq getting started. I knew what we were having for the evening - Barefoot Bbq truck. I started with the smoked tuna. I love smoked tuna and trout dip. This was served with tortilla chips and lacked a smokey flavor. This tuna would be better on a sandwich. If you like smoke tuna dip do yourself a favor and walk across the street to Bud & Alley's - amazing! Then I ordered the bbq nachos. They were ok. I loved the idea of bbq beans, melted nacho cheese on tortillas with the bbq pork. The concept is great, but when your star is supposed to be your bbq this dish disappoints. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of meat, but the bbq pork lacked that all day tender smokey flavor I was expecting. I am from So Cal, so the prices weren't shocking, but for a food truck not to deliver and to have high prices I can not in good foodie faith send you here. read more

Pros and cons. Very cute place in neat outdoor area. The baked beans were excellent. Chicken was not bad. Didn't care for the sauces. The mac n cheese left something to be desired. I think I was a bit bummed that the online menu prices were about 30 percent higher when I actually picked up my called-in my to-go order. Not a huge deal. I was a bit turned off that they also added an automatic gratuity for a to-go order from a food truck. I loved this place. It's not the best BBQ I have ever had and the prices are a bit high for what you are getting, but it was dang good. I had the pulled pork sandwich was really good, I could have eaten it all but my 4 year old wound up eating half of it (and she usually doesn't like BBQ). Also the Mac and Cheese was much better than most restaurants. It tasted like it had garlic mixed into it. The cole Slaw was very fresh and crunchy tasting without being overloaded with Mayo. Wow!! This place was amazing! The pulled pork was possibly the best I've ever had. It had a great flavor and just the right amount of smoke. The sauces offered were very good, and covered a nice range of spicy, traditional, mustard, and vinegar. The brisket was outstanding as well. We had a group, so we all ordered different things and were able to taste a wide variety of items. I'd highly recommend the pulled pork and mac and cheese, with the brisket right behind it. The baked beans were good, and had a kick. The ribs were good as well. The only thing we tried that wasn't at least above average was the chicken. It was still good, but I'd order one of the other meats instead. Probably the best bang for the buck meal we had on our trip to the area. You are robbing yourself if you come down here and don't stop here for lunch. read more

Okay, this is the first time I have ever eaten out of a food truck so this may be a little bias based on the new experience... but this place was awesome. Seriously this is some of the best food I have gotten in the Destin area! I had the pork sandwich with macaroni and cheese and pineapple slaw. My wife had the brisket sandwich with the same sides. Both meats were wonderful and moist. The bread was lightly toasted and buttered. The macaroni and cheese was delicious and cheesy. I really liked the pineapple slaw, but my wife didn't care for it. I also ordered a pina colada and it was the best I've had this vacation. The service was quick and friendly. Overall it was a wonderful new experience with a food truck and wonderful food. Price wise it's a little expensive, but it's priced for the area. I would go back any chance I got! read more

Great pulled chicken sandwich. The meat was tender and juicy. I tried the two mildest sauces, which were both very good. The service was quick and super friendly. Nice casual costal atmosphere. We loved sitting outside. The beans were a little spicy for me, but the rest of my family loved them. My 8 year old ate all of her meal and the rest of mine! For a OK meal at a reasonable price, this is your spot. I got the half chicken with baked beans and cole slaw. The chicken was average or perhaps a little below with very rubbery skin. Baked beans were very good and the cole slaw wasn't too bad either. For the sauces, I liked the hot lava (spicier) the best and the traditional was sub par and just really bland to me. I was irked that they added a 10% gratuity for nothing and a 1% service charge without any signs posted for why I would be charged all this. They also wouldn't let me get different types of sliders on my son's kids meal. Overall, you have better options in Seaside, FL. read more

Great atmosphere in the shopping area with some nice picnic tables for people to sit at. The doggy bowl station was a great thing to have and really helped out after a 5 mile hike (for my dog, I had the Bloody Mary). The Bloody Mary was great and was just the right amount of spicy. I ordered a half rack of ribs with some amazing slaw and beans. The ribs were good and fell off the bone with just the right amount of pulling. Our family of four ate Barefoot BBQ tonight. We ordered 2 corn dog kids meals, BBQ nachos, and Ribs with a side of Mac n cheese & beans. The BBQ nachos were delish. I enjoyed them and would only add a little extra cheese. Kids meals were fine but the "free" frisby is a nice touch. Kids loved them. My husband said the ribs weren't good, the Mac n cheese delicious and the beans were textbook good but nothing special. The hot BBQ sauce is "phenomenal".
