The voodoo is my favorite coffee here! It's chocolately and coconuty - super delicious. The only thing is they don't do half caf, but that's okay. I've been drinking Barefoot coffee for over 10 years, and I always love coming here when I'm in the Campbell area. I have purchased beans from time to time and they have always been excellent - fragrant and delicious. The coffee drinks at Barefoot in Campbell are very good and consistent. I originally started coming here because of the Voodoo, but the Cubano with orange ginger and pour overs are my favorite. The espresso drinks are excellent because of the flavor of the espresso. It complements the other flavors in every drink perfectly. The pour overs are also done well which not every coffee shop masters. Pricing is what one would expect to pay for good coffee in the Bay Area. It is easy to stay here for hours while working, if you can get a seat. The vibe is so relaxed. Heard about this place from a friend so stopped in when I was in the area. Went a little ham there. Got the mexican mocha for the hubs and cold brew for myself. Both were good and seemed fairly strong. Was bummed they had only one size and was super small. Got the sticky bun and oh so good!! Lots of pecans. Zapped it in the microwave for a few seconds when I got home :) Took home a couple bags of beans and been making it at home. Stumbled across this coffee shop in Campbell a couple weeks ago, and I have been loving it so far! I went a couple of times and each time, I've been getting their iced vanilla matcha latte with almond milk which is so good! The service is awesome as well and the staff is so friendly. It's a pretty small coffee shop, however has many outlets for you to do work or enjoy one of many delicious pastries! Barefoot Coffee Campbell fell right in the realm of "average." They have some fun drinks on the menu, and some things are definitely better than others. We ordered the Mexican Mocha and a Chai Latte with an added (double) shot. The Mexican Mocha was good - thick and chocolate-y, with notes of cinnamon. It was pretty rich, particularly at the bottom, where the chocolate and flavors settle in the cup in a rather unpleasant way. It was a little too sweet for my taste, and lacked some of the coffee flavor I hope for. Overall, though, we asked for a Mexican Mocha and that's what we got! The Chai Latte, however, was passable at best. Although it was a latte, it was extremely watery - you could even tell by looking at the drink, which had big bubbles that had popped on the surface. Instead of a thick foam covering a creamy drink, we ended up with a watery drink with a lackluster foam. The tea tasted like it came from a Lipton bag, and completely lacked espresso or coffee flavor. I guess that's why I didn't see too many reviews for the Chai Latte on Yelp - it's clearly not a popular drink on their menu. You'd find a better version at a Starbucks or Peet's. read more

This coffee shop is amazing! It's small but so perfect. The coffee I tried is called a voodoo and it has almond milk instead of sweet cream but this is probably one of the best coffees I've ever had! I got it iced. When I got on their website it says they donate a portion of profits to important causes as well and they were listed below. I really like that they give back and their delicious ! I would stop here anytime over Starbucks. I will definitely be back! I want to try one drink that has a scoop of organic ice cream in it as well! That sounds divine! I'm a huge fan of Barefoot for so many reasons. I don't live in Campbell but love coming to get work done or just relax at Barefoot. Pros: - Ample parking: There is a retail shopping parking garage that is literally connected to the coffee shop, so I've never had a problem finding a covered spot to park in - Great coffee: Their special crafted drinks are fantastic. you can read from multiple reviews how great the Voodoo is! I'm a huge fan of the Mexican Mocha. - Friendly: Both the staff/baristas and also the patrons are always super friendly. There is always a nice, fun atmosphere. You can tell that people have made this their local place to go, and I always see baristas interacting with the "regulars" i.e. "You want your usual?" "How are your kids?" - Good Wifi/Seating: Always a plus :) - Location: Next to a Chipotle. I don't know if you as a reader personally care about this, but it's a pro in my books. Cons: - Can get very busy, and seating get limited. You can feel a little crammed in this small shop if you're there during a rush hour. - Drinks are (slightly) more pricey than other shops I've been to. - Dim lighting, so if you're there after the sun sets it can get pretty dark. Ummm yes. Just yes. Got the mocha Borgia (I hope that was the name of it!) It's an orange flavored mocha and it's soooo good! Like the chocolate orange except way better and in drink form. Like scarily good. The kind of excellent where you think about going back twenty minutes later for another because it was just that good and just that needed, but realize that two cups of coffee may make you a jitter bug. There was a rather funky smell in there and not sure what that was about, but customer service was great and the drinks are outstanding. I'll definitely be back! read more

Great little coffee shop -- and it's open during shelter in place! My brother had good things to say about Barefoot, so I dropped by to check it out for the first time today! I ordered the Mocha Borgia at the recommendation of many fellow Yelpers and a hot cappuccino for my mom. Also picked up a bag of their Red Cab Espresso beans for the home coffee. The Mocha Borgia was interesting - I was definitely taken aback at first by the strong blend of dark chocolate and orange. Thought it was pretty good after a couple more sips, but I will probably try something else next time. I tried my mom's cap, and it was very good. My sister and I were out for our usual coffee run. We decided to switch things up and venture out for Barefoot Coffee, a small independent coffee shop facing Bascom Ave. next to the Pruneyard. A great place for craft coffee - might I add. I love the unique coffee concoctions that are unique to Barefoot Coffee's menu. My personal favorite is the Voodoo, which I got this morning. It kicks a mocha up a notch with its coconut sweet milk blend. Help yourself to a yummy pastry as well. I wouldn't say that their pastries are out of this world or anything, but the almond pastry is always satisfying in my book. Flaky, butter and best served toasted, which they will do for you. Lastly, customer service is excellent. The baristas are on top of it and get drinks rolling out quickly and efficiently. In general I've found the baristas to be very nice and friendly. read more

VERY disappointed after having just visited their Solana Beach location which was actually my first discovery and an EXCELLENT experience. Comparing the Solana Beach experience to Campbell, with my rating of the Solana Beach location being 20/10, here is my take on the Campbell location: CUSTOMER SERVICE: We arrived at around 12noon on a Saturday. There were plenty of staff (overstaffed if you ask me), NONE of the staff including the Barista looked HAPPY, it was like they were just doing their jobs (ROBOTS) - NO smiles, NO personality, NO welcome when you walk in the door or when they delivered your food/drink, NO positive vibes whatsoever! I did NOT feel welcomed at all unlike at the Solana Beach location. One thing I will NOT do is patronize a store who doesn't make me feel welcomed the minute I walk in the door and continue to make me feel "at home" during my stay! I don't care how busy you are, EVERY customer each of the staff comes across should feel like this place is REALLY happy to have me here. If I don't get that feeling the minute I walk in, there's a good chance I may not return. FOOD: the Solana Beach location was generous with their sandwich toppings, tasted SO much better and the Cubano drink was absolutely delicious. I ordered the same sandwich/Cubano drink at the Campbell location and it was just NOT as great. My sister got the Lox/cream cheese toast and they totally skimped on the cream cheese and salmon lox. For $11.95, it was NOT worth the price! Also, it was only 12noon and they had already ran out of avocado! SORRY, but with plenty of staff and Whole Foods across the street and Trader Joe's close by, have one of your staff go and get some avocados cuz you still have plenty hours left in the day to feed your customers! I even gave a $2 tip when I placed my order but on account of the lacking customer service, I wish I hadn't. AMBIENCE: VERY lacking in comparison to the Solana Beach location. Solana Beach had very nice seating inside, quieter music/a RELAXED vibe, plenty of seating outside and a VERY nice courtyard seating that was welcoming/warm. Campbell location - COLD inside with the AC on, loud music blaring (couldn't really hear what was playing), NOT a warm cozy vibe at all. I came to RELAX, did not feel relaxed walking out. Interestingly, this location is supposed to be the original location. Well, unfortunately for you, you lost one solid coffee drinker's business. SO disapppinted! I was SO excited to try this location since it was SO close to home. I live in Sunnyvale and would be willing to come here for a nice cup of coffee/meal, but sadly, I will NOT be returning, NOT worth the drive. Since my previous visit, Barefoot Coffee now has menu options including a delicious smashed avocado toast with tomatoes and pumpkin seeds for about $8. Great deal. Very delicious. Barefoot also has a retail area with packages of coffee beans, stylish hats, t-shirts, and other Barefoot paraphernalia. Currently, they are permitting dining-in option for maximum of six guests plus outdoor seating. The doors are open for maximum ventilation. Hand sanitizers are available. Very friendly staff members with a variety of recommendations, including the voodoo- a popular coconut mocha drink. The coffee is good, food delicious, and customer service fantastic. Came in during the COVID-19 crisis, and was first interested in the fact that they have bottles of cold brew available for pickup fo those who want to make less trips out of their homes for their morning cup of joes. Was interested in the Voodoo, but wasn't looking for something that sweet; I'll have to come back and try that in the future. Instead, I got a Mexican Mocha with oat milk, and had them make it one less pump of the mocha, so that it would be more savory and less sweet. Terrific choice! Also, had a nice conversation with a woman that I presumed was the owner. She was really trying to figure out which hours were going to be the most beneficial for her customers in this strange time. A cute coffe shop on Bascom! Discovered this place a few weeks ago when I was mailing out something next door at UPS. I got an iced latte! They typically take reusable cups, but due to the current climate, they are temporarily not doing so for health purposes. They also sell coffee beans as well, which I recommend! Great way to support small coffee shops. Their menu has a good variety and I hope to try their iced VooDoo or cheesy egg biscuit next time! Their sandwiches look heavenly as well. This place should have 4 stars because their coffee is delicious!!! Warm, aromatic, and lots of different coffee options to choose from for all the coffee lovers. I have even tried their raspberry mocha which is divine. It literally tastes like a raspberry chocolate truffle. The place is very busy filled with people working on tiny tables as well as people chatting and reconnecting. Service is fast but not very nice. This is why they are docked a star. Usually you're greeted by warm smiles and friendly conversation when you go to coffee spots, but not here. At times I've come in and felt judged for being too perky, or slow at making my decision, paying in cash or just like I'm annoying the person whose taking my order. Perhaps it's just me, but this doesn't happen at other establishments where I buy coffee. I heard about Barefoot Coffee when I was looking for places that deliver coffee beans. I ordered The Beast coffee home, and I'm so glad they had the option to select ground beans. This one is an excellent everyday coffee. It's smooth and dark, but not bitter, and only needs a splash of milk. Some dark roasts can very quickly taste smoky, and I like that The Beast is not one of those. The next thing to do was to visit the cafe! They're open during COVID, and there are a couple of tables outside. We tried the popular Voodoo coffee, and it was delicious! It's a rich and luscious espresso drink that's heavy on the chocolate. I wish it were available in a smaller size because this was almost a snack! The other drink we tried was a hand-poured Wamena Guji Ethiopian coffee. I highly recommend this. The berry notes shine, and the overall result is unique. One of the best artisanal coffees I've tried. They had some limited bakery items and some options for toast; we didn't try them. They also have a good collection of dark chocolate. I can imagine this cafe being very crowded at regular times. I guess it really depends on the barista you get the day of, but I usually leave pretty damn satisfied. The place is really small and cute inside, rustic and casual/modern. Very limited parking since in a apartment structure, but the back parking usually has an area to "temp" park so you can get in and out quickly. Menu is direct and straight forward, they have many special teas and then for coffee - hand brews, some house specials, and also a really good cold brew! I recommend getting their house drinks hot, since the few times I've gotten them iced - they just end up too milky and not strong at all. If I want iced coffee, I def. go for their cold brew. The voodoo is tasty, a little on the sweeter side with coconut and chocolate hints. Borgia Mocha is also good but has more zesty/chocolate appeal to it. The Cubano has unique spices in it like cayenne/cinnamon - but it wasn't to my taste buds. AND the best is the café latte brulee (which they don't do to go unfortunately) - a classic latte with a yummy caramelized sugar crust that you can crack right through, soooo good and not overly sweet either! read more
