I'm surprised this place is still in business due to the horrible service and lack of accountability. One of the sparklers hit my friend's eye and I was disgusted how the manager laughed and it said it's not possible for it to happen despite seeing my friend in pain and her eye red and irritated. Best new spot in LA!! Haven't found a dinning experience like this before!! This place has amazing food and great music! The ambience is so lively. They have a live dj that plays great music and belly dancers. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Can't go wrong with any dish, but my favorites are the lamb chops, short ribs, and cauliflower appetizer. For dessert, I definitely recommended the Sticky date pudding. Came here right when they opened on a Friday so we were lucky to get a lot of attention from the waiter (manager?). He was warm and welcoming and knowledgeable. He gave us some great recs and even suggested we not choose one of the items, which I'll always give someone bonus points for. In addition to everything being delicious, I have to commend the kitchen for presenting everything so beautifully. If you IG your meals, you'll love it. My favorites were the fattoush salad and the beef baghrir. The winter Paloma was fantastic. The sticky date pudding and the Nutella cheesecake were soooo yummy. Oh and the DJ had pretty much the perfect playlist, great great music. Is there a bit of sticker shock when you get the bill? Yes. But this is definitely a special night out type of place as opposed to a "grab a quick dinner before a movie". Ambiance seemed nice for a bar. Music was too loud as if you are in a dance club. It is unacceptable and disrespectful that they allow patrons to vape their personal e-cigarette indoors/inside.
