I am very disappointed with Baskin-Robbins in Alhambra today. I downloaded their app, and then I signed up. The app shows a code TASTY for $3 off on a $10+ purchase, and my cake costs $22.00. Also, for signing up, you get a scoop of ice cream. None of that was offered to me. The clerk said that the system is down for a few days. They can't even give out one candle for a small $22 ice cream cake. Hands down for Baskin-Robbins. read more

During the pandemic baskin robins doesn't have indoor seating so after you get the ice cream you leave. This place is really clean and the service is awesome. There is many different flavors going from chocolate bars and green tea. Never thought I'd be writing a review for Baskin-Robbins, but sometimes we surprise ourselves. This one goes out to the manager, Young Jae, for being so accommodating and helpful. We got a cake for my father-in-law, but the restaurant we dined at next door wouldn't allow us to cut/eat it there. Since our group came from diff parts of LA, we decided to ask Young Jae if we could have the cake at Baskin-Robbins. He was super welcoming and gracious, notwithstanding the business' covid precautions. I noticed that he takes a real hands on approach with other customers as well, treating everyone like old friends. I don't usually write reviews but I had to write one this time because the customer service I got here was so terrible. I came in wanting to redeem a birthday reward, and we were being helped by an old Asian man. Right before he scooped the ice cream, I double checked with him whether my birthday reward would work. He asked me if today was my birthday; I said that it wasn't and that it actually was a few days ago. He said I wouldn't be able to redeem it. No matter how many times I was trying to tell him that it hadn't reached the expiration date yet or try to show him the coupon on my phone, he just kept interrupting me and repeating that it wasn't my birthday and I couldn't use it (as if I didn't understand him the first time). I left. The customer service is phenomenal at the Monterey Park location and I only came to the Alhambra location today because it happened be nearby. Needless to say, I will never be coming back here again. They do NOT know how to treat their customers. read more

This review is about my experience on 4/17/16. The store is very neat and the guys were very nice. They offered us samples and recommended their new red berry blast flavor (made with a ribbon of red sour patch kids!) I was there to buy my Mom a cute ice cream cake since I failed to order ahead of time. There were tons of beautiful cakes on display in various sizes. All were labeled clearly w/ice cream, cake flavor, and price. There's a great BOGO scoop deal w/Yelp check-in that I took advantage of. I got a scoop of Jamoca and Snickers, which were place in individual cups (thanks for reading my mind.) The nuts in the cream were very fresh and they did not skimp on the portion size! The cake I ended up getting was absolutely delicious! Price was also reasonable. The guy (sorry, didn't get his name) wrote "Happy Birthday Mom" on there perfectly! The cream was very thin, light and fresh. The dark chocolate frosting was AMAZING!!! Thank you guys for a quick and wonderful experience! Looking forward to coming back for more beautiful cakes. Baskin Robin is the same everywhere, so what makes me give this location 1 star is because of the aweful customer service (or total lack of) of the employee or manager there MEGAN,and yes i agree with other reviewers about how stingy she is with the portion, mind you my daughter only asked to sample between two flavors so she can decide which one to order. And once we ordered, the scoop was proba ly half the size of the scoop you would normally get at other Baskin Robin locations or at any icecream place anywhere else. Our first time popping in this location,and never again. I made sure I left no tip because I could not get pass myself to leave any, i usuallt select the 15% or 20% option at boba or icecream places like this, but not for the attitude and service my kids received from this lady, no way! read more

Last night we had a mini reunion with friends and our growing families. My favorite location, even though it's not the closest (can't in good conscience return to that one after seeing some unhygienic behavior by employees at another location). This place is always clean and employees are very friendly! Even though it's a franchise, I appreciate the family vibe of this place - usually one of the two sons is working and they keep the flow going even when there are a lot of customers. My ice cream was okay but the person working at that time was a bit rude. I haven't been back since. 12-16-2023, I waited from 2:20 to 2:55pm to get two kid scoops. Manager was training new employee. 6 people were waiting total, including two kids and 3 families. Manager explained she was training employee which involved her asking two customers details about their order and then instructing the trainee to write the responses down. The customer behind me put her ice cream quarts back in the freezer for fear they would melt. Was served at 2:50pm. Paid and my two kid scoops with sprinkles and a unicorn horn was $12.56. No apologies. No customer service. No recognition that we had all been waiting for a long time. I told her this was the worst experience I ever had a 31 flavors. And I worked at one for 2 years in high school. Still no response. Simply said, "Have a nice day and come again." Like a robot. Plus, the store is dingy and unwelcoming. Worst looking 31 I've ever been in. We've lived in this area for almost 35 years. We know about 50 families with kids and other community members. School and church. We'll be sharing this experience.
