After our discussion, we ended up selecting a two-tier white wedding cake with strawberry mousse filling--topped off with a gorgeous, blue-laced ribbon made from rice paper. The process was so simple and easy, I just sent an email inquiry and as soon as I heard back from them (1-2 days after), I called to place and confirm my order. For custom cakes, they require a deposit, and then the rest of the payment can be made near or on the pick-up date. They also go over their policy with you over the phone. My sister was very particular of how she wanted her birthday cake. She specified that she wanted a carrot cake with cream-cheese frosting, heart-shaped, baby-blue in color with sparkles, and have black bows. The bakery doesn't make any non-edible add-ons so I had to provide the black bows, and it turned out absolutely beautiful that we didn't want to eat it! Carrot cake was delicious, we all enjoyed it.
