We got 2 birthday cakes here and were so happy with the whole process. Placed the order with the owner who was so helpful and patient as my son figured out what style & flavors we wanted. When we picked up the cakes, we were so pleasantly surprised at how beautiful & magical especially our little polar bear cake turned out. Quick, cheap, and ice cream. The people working there are quick and nice. The ice cream there is top quality Baskin Robbins style, and also the tubs are pretty cheap. The restaurant is clean overall, plus it's in a shopping center. It does get a bit crowded after school hours in the summer so look out for that. The cookies and vream with strawberry on top is my favorite way to energize my day. read more

Very nice employees, but today I was pretty disappointed with my two scoop sundae. I ordered mine with caramel sauce instead of hot fudge. The caramel was completely rock solid hard. I had never seen it like that before; the caramel was almost impossible to eat. Plus the ice cream immediately melted in the short 5 minute drive back home. I think I will stick with the Caramel Blasts for now on, less risky. read more

How can you possibly go wrong with ice cream? I remember Baskin Robins as being the ice cream store it was a big deal to get to go to. It was always the reward for being good. It still has it's old school charm about it with some new crazy flavors. Luckily they've kept Daiquiri Ice, the best flavor in the world. read more

Awful- do yourself a favor and skip this place. Short Story: I believe they have come under new management in the last year or so, and the owner is rude and gruff and has no idea how to treat customers. Instead, go to the Baskin Robins on Campbell Ave and San Tomas Aquino Rd (about 2 miles away) where they appreciate their customers and take care of them..... Long story- We love Baskin Robins and their cakes in particular, and were glad there was a store within 1 mile of our new house. We've bought cakes there over the last 5 years that were all great. Then, back in February of this year we bought one really wasn't good- seemed like it was old and had been on the shelf a while. I called over to the store and respectfully explained the problem, and the owner told me to come in with the cake which I did. She looked at it, asked me all sorts of questions, and offered a replacement, but I didn't need a cake then, so I asked for credit at her store (I didn't ask for an actual refund). I figured it was a one time thing, caught them maybe on a bad day, and let it go. Since then we even stopped in to have ice cream cones, paid for with part of our credit. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and remained customers. Fast forward to just recently, and I go in to get a cake for my wife, and use the remaining credit (and add some $$ on top as needed). As soon as I ask to use the last of my credit, the server (a middle aged woman, who I think is the owner), gets grumpy, and reminds me that she has ".......no idea what was wrong with the cake back in February". How rude- to tell me, after 6 months, that there's no way her cake was bad, and I;m basically some kook. And then she says that the cake I picked out now was made 2 days ago and "...... there are no problems with it". Well I sure hope there are no problems with the cake, but even if it stood up and did a song and dance around the room, we'll never go back there. Patronize them at your own risk.. This Baskin Robbins is by far my favorite location out of all the ones in the bay. Why you ask? Because the cakes here are so unique and different from other Baskin Robbins. Most Baskin Robbins offer the normal oreo cookie cake with oreos and the signature flowers with a simple design, but this location has Hello Kitty! They have real cute and rare designs. The price isn't bad compared to other ice cream cake places and on top of the cute designs, the customer service there is awesome! The two ladies there are so nice and will treat you like royalty with a big happy smile :) If you need an ice cream cake, but want something more than the plain BR cakes you can get anywhere, stop by this location and you won't be disappointed! read more

I was recommended to come to this Baskin Robbins by a good friend of mine. I cant say thank you enough to the wonderful staff at this particular BS and the owner, Ellen. On Tuesday, I needed to order two ice cream cake for my friend children's birthday party on Saturday but the orders were specific on style, designs, colors, ice cream, cake for each ice cream cake. Since I live roughly 25 minutes away, Ellen and the staff were able to accommodate me by placing my orders via telephone and email. I had an opportunity to go to the store and see the size of the cake before the birthday party. My friend told me there were 25 kids at this birthday party. When I went to see the actual size of the ice cream cake it seemed small. I upgraded the size of my orders with Ellen and they were able to accommodate my request in short notice. The staff also helped me carry the two party size ice cream cake to my car because I had a little one with me on the day I picked up the orders. The ice cream cake were delicious and fresh and the designs were laminated so the birthday boys were able to keep their ice cream cake design as a keepsake. What a great idea!!! I cant thank them enough for their time, professionalism, artistic design and their excellent customer service. I live 25 minutes away from this Baskin Robbins but I will definitely come back here for future ice cream cake orders. read more

My kids and I love coming here. In fact most of the staff know us by name and what we like to order. On a hot day this is the best place to be. Even on a cold day, this is still relaxing. The owner designs some of the cutest ice cream cakes around town. She is so creative with her cakes. read more

Love BR in general. This place has a family-owned feel and the young people working there (think one young man is owner family) are very friendly and overall a happy experience! When I got there I was greeted so enthusiastically and the workers were very helpful when I came to ordering a cake. They have family values and really care about the customers! When is a quart much less than a quart? When its from Pollard B-K. First, let me say that BK is one of the best brands of ice cream anywhere, and I'm including Lapperts and many others. I've been going to this particular BK on Pollard regularly for 7 years now, probably twice a month. We always order 2 quarts. The servers recognize me, we greet each other every time, and the experience is always pleasant. Not this time. I'm NOT the type of person to write a review, but this one calls for it. Came in earlier this evening and ordered the usual. New girl packing the order. Got home, opened the container, and it was little more than 2/3 full, and not "packed" at all. You could literally hold the plastic container up to a light, and see the voids in the ice cream. Really? So, drove all the way back, asked the same girl if she would please top it off to a full quart, and she immediately gave me defensive attitude. "I packed it how its supposed to be." No customer courtesy comment, no politeness. I pointed out that, no, this is not packed down, and its well shy of a quart. She wouldn't even examine the container. Just said, "I've done many of those, its right, and there's nothing I can do about it." Funny... when I placed the order, this new girl didn't even know what size the quart container was. And she's done many of these? Right... Again, no courteousness, no basic seller "empathy," basic people skills, or simple customer service sense. Just attitude. So, I told her, "You just lost a customer. I've been coming here for years, but I'll be going to the other BK on Campbell Ave. from now on." Her parting response, "Up to you. Do what you want." What a shame. Who hired this brat? As good as BK ice cream is, for as much as they charge now for a hand-packed quart, I expect a full quart. Not weakly packed and short. And certainly not ATTITUDE. Clearly, if she doesn't know the basics of customer skills by now, she's never going to. If I were still managing sales, I'd take her aside and explain at the very least how to handle a customer, even if you're in the right. If that didn't work, then adios. read more

My wife ordered me a Birthday Cake for my 50th Birthday. She requested Mint&Chip with chocolate cake and fudge filling . The next day when I cut into my cake I discovered The cake was yellow and there was no fudge filling. Needless to say I was very disappointed since I get a Baskin-Robbins cake only once a year. She called the store manager and expressed her disappointmentand was told that she could have a five dollar credit towards her next purchase..we don't want a five dollar credit towards our next purchase, we just wanted what we ordered..The manager never agreed to make it right. This, in our opinion is very bad business..I called a different Baskin-Robbins just to see what their reaction would be and that manager told me he would've just immediately replaced the cake with what I was supposed to get..guess we will be shopping for Baskin-Robbins cakes elsewhere next time.. read more

The location is within walking distance of our home so we visit often. Ellen is so nice and truly appreciates her customers. We have ordered cakes, brought small groups of kids in, and just dropped in for a scoop and we've always gotten great service and yummy ice cream!! read more

This is the only Baskin Robbins we visit as one of our family members has a food allergy and the service we receive here is excellent. Ellen and her staff always make us feel welcome and like it's not a problem to accommodate the logistical requirements (clean scoops, fresh tubs of ice cream) of the food allergy.
