Food: I love the Bundt cakes they have here. A little bit ago I came here and tried the limited time pumpkin spiced flavor and it was amazing! I also love their red velvet flavor. More recently I tried their lemon flavor and their Oreo Cookies and Cream flavor. The lemon was very strong which I personally really enjoyed, and the Oreo one was good, however I wish the Oreo flavor was more prominent. A few flavors we chose were red velvet, vanilla, and chocolate. We ordered the cupcakes which come in dozens and the 2 tier cake for the wedding cake cutting. You can add frosting or flowers for the appearance. On the wedding day they cake arrived a little late for the cocktail hour, but right on time before the wedding started. I'm a huge "nothing Bundt cake" fan. But, it really depends on the location. I've noticed whenever I purchase from this location my cupcakes are always smooshed at the bottom, and the form is never correct. The taste hasn't been a issue yet, but seems as if they never can get the cakes and cupcakes right!!! I guess it's fine if you're eating at yourself, but it's embarrassing if you're presenting it as a birthday cake or a gift for someone because it looks awful ! Sadly this has happened few times now. I went to another bakery today in Los Gatos but sadly they are closed on Mondays. I was walking around North Santa Cruz "I still call it Winchester" and stopped in at my friends shop, " Redemption" as we talked I mentioned that I was bummed out as I really wanted something from the bakery. He mentioned Nothing Bundt Cakes and said to give them a try, so off I went (as it turned out they were only about 100 feet from where I had parked" as I walked the 1/2 mile back towards my car (using my yelp maps) I spotted the bakery. I said to myself this place has to be pretty new, as I walked in I noticed that all they sell are bunt cakes. I asked the lady behind the counter (who by the way was super sweet) how long they had been in business at this location? Figuring her reply would be about one year, I was shocked to find out they have been in this location for about 10 years!! "What rock have I been sleeping under" Well long story short I went with her suggestion and got one of their Lemon Raspberry bunt cakes. "with extra icing, cuz dat is how I roll" I took it with me to Starbucks and ate it with my new found favorite drink. The bunt cake was super moist, dense and delicious. The lemon flavor was spot on and the Raspberry compliments the lemon to perfection. And the price point for what they gave me $5.45 which included .50 cents for extra icing I thought was actually on the inexpensive side. "I would say it weighs a good 10 ounces" well worth the price. This review is not for the cakes but for their terrible customer service. I originally emailed this place to place an order for my COVID wedding. I got a response saying to call into the store instead, so I called and ordered two dozen bundlets for delivery and I kept reiterating that I would need them delivered by 11 AM. At first they told me they cannot guarantee the time so I said that probably would not work for me then as this is a wedding and we would need to have it delivered by this time. The girl I spoke too, said she would talk to the manager (Jess?) to confirm. She then proceeded to call me back and assured me that my order would be delivered by the time I needed it and the manager himself would be delivering it since he has delivered to my wedding venue before. I paid for my order over the phone and everything was ready to go. Fast forward to the wedding day, it was almost 1 PM and my guests have all had lunch already and the cakes are still not delivered. I had to call them on my wedding day and I was greeted by a rude person who said 'I dont know who you spoke to but we never guarantee our delivery times, the manager was suppose to deliver your cakes but his wife is doing it now' I was furious but at this point it was too late to really do anything. The cakes finally arrived shortly after that phone call. I then proceeded to email them about this entire dreadful experience and never got a response. I sent them a follow up and still no response. The least they can do is refund me my delivery fee as they did not deliver in time as promised. I was really excited to try this place after my friend told me about how they specialized in Bundt Cakes. It's a really novel and unique idea and I was thrilled when a family friend came and brought us a giant box of them to try. I tried the red velvet, vanilla and chocolate and some speckled variety that I still do not know the flavor of. The cakes themselves were a little dry yet sticky and I felt that they were not as good as most cupcakes. I know it's off to compare them to cupcakes but they're both cakes and dry cakes= no good to me. They always have samples and the staff is super friendly. We especially like the red velvet and the lemon cakes. The best part, you can keep them in the fridge for a few extra days, just make sure to take it out an hour or two before serving. As she started to fold up the brown paper bag I asked her if they don't do the plastic wrapping with the ribbon and flags I chose anymore. This employee got lazy and didn't even offer that in the first place because she was too hung up on getting back to the phone order. She of course told me it'll take a few minutes if I want it wrapped up because someone has a phone order. I'm sorry, I walked in first before the phone rang... you'd think they'd consider walks ins as priority especially when you walked in BEFORE the phone went off. Wrapping my Bundtlet only takes less than 2 minutes which if she had been efficient, it could've been done before taking the phone order. I love this place. I first tried their tiny Bundt cakes at my dentist's office. (She gives us a tiny cake after the exam--much more fun than a toothbrush.) I placed an online order for some of the medium-sized cakes, because they are in individual containers and make nice gifts. I haven't met anyone who doesn't love them. There is a good variety--Pecan Praline, Red Velvet, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Lemon (my favorite), Carrot--there are so many, and you can choose from the selection to create your dozen. I chose to pick up the order and selected a day/time to pick up. (They also deliver for a fee.) They ask that you arrive at your designated time so that there aren't multiple people waiting in the shop. When I arrived, the shop was clean, quiet and inviting. The glass cases are filled with beautiful Bundt cakes of all sizes. Some cakes were decorated for the holidays with a pretty flower. A friendly woman came out from the back as soon as I walked in. (Both of the staff I saw were wearing masks.) I gave her my name, and she went in back and brought my order from the refrigerator. Each individual cake was in a clear container (you can see the pretty cake) and each container is sealed with an adhesive label showing the type of cake. Then the little containers were placed in a large bakery box. Since I paid online, my visit to the shop took less than five minutes. The woman offered to help me to my car, which I didn't need, and she opened the door for me, which I appreciated. This was a simple transaction for fun, delicious and affordable gifts.
