Ok so dinner was so good yes we decided to go back again last night because I had to have that delicious cheesesteak once again! Again it did nit disappoint it was something else and sadly it had nothing to do with the food. 1st off server Haley was good at the beginning but something happened maybe she got busy but we definitely felt neglected! However that was not the issue. My son ordered chicken and waffles and asked for them to be tossed in Buffalo sauce. Haley said they are much better tossed the way they come in Nashville hot. Ok we said. When they came Out my son said they did not have much flavor so after waiting and waiting she finally came back when he was 1/2 way done and he was able to ask her for a side of Buffalo sauce that he originally wanted. Here is what made me drop my stars and really become upset. We asked for the check and she handed me a handheld unit. All I say was the final total. I was not able to look at the whole check (last time I swear the server gave a a printed copy to look at) I noticed that they give you options for gratuity but I noticed that they include the tax in that gratuity which In my opinion is wrong! You should not be forced to tip on the tax! She was standing there waiting so I just did it. When we got To the car my husband and I were trying to figure out why our bill was more than we thought. Well if you look below you will notice we were charged $3 additional For the Nashville hot which is 1not what we originally wanted and 2 we were told that's how they came and 3 she never ever told us there's additional charge. Maybe it's my fault is I should've asked to look at the receipt more clearly and she should have given me time instead of standing there or not walking away. Never got a thank you just took the handheld unit and walked away. It's a shame we all did end up enjoying our dinner but it's the little things things like this that will make me go elsewhere! We spent $200 there in the last 2 weeks with another reservation to come back next month, may cancel that one over something stupid like $3 and being forced to tip on tax!! read more

The only thing I would change is to expand the menu. I came here on a UF football game night so the place was packed. The menu is pretty limited but I ordered the chicken and waffles which came with a bourbon syrup- it was a great late night craving dish. My friend had an impossible burger which he said he couldn't even tell wasn't real meat had he not known and he's a total carnivore. The fries were also well seasoned- I stole his. We are visiting family in Boyton Beach and this place looked great from reviews and photos; had to try it. Reservations were for 645 pm and place was empty when we arrived and then filled up all at once. If this was a review solely on food and drinks, this would be 4-4.5 stars. We had wings and deviled eggs for appetizers. For entrees we had steak and lobster and shrimp roll. Drinks were excellent and food tasted great. So why the 3 stars... it was the service. I typically do not complain and standard tip is 20%. Our waitress showed up to the table 20 minutes into our seating. By that time the Manager has already taken our order for drinks and appetizers. The appetizers came out quick but the food was probably 40 minutes later. Even when the manager came over to ask how the meal was and if they could do anything, we asked for the check, it still took way too long to come out. So overall we had a fun time, food is excellent, and everyone seemed to help each other out. However, the waits between ordering was just too long. We were there for over 1.5 hours. Help we started off a little rough. I think we caught them at a shift change and we had a bit of delay on getting started however I have to give two thumbs up to manager Clint. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and we really were. I would also say the food was really delicious. And it was very comfortable sitting outside with a little fire at a cooler night and here in South Florida. We come to Delray Marketplace frequently. We have passed by this place a couple times but it has always been really busy and with our kids we did not want to spend much time at a bar. So stopped here on a whim...we are not from the area and Yelp directed us to this new hot spot! It's great! Our server, Robin was very nice, sweet and attentive. She recommended the Avocado Toast which was spot on! I ordered the Beef Brisket Burger and hubby got The Huntsman (Elk) Burger...oh my DELICIOUS goodness! They also had it paired with a smoked aioli spread on the side = amazing!!! Ordered a Strawberry Basil Sangria that was okay...the food was just perfect! The manager, Clint came by and made sure we were enjoying our meal...MOST DEFINITELY! Now it did take the food a little bit of time to get to our table but that was perfectly okay because it did not disappoint! Extremely disappointed Mother's Day we made a reservation for 7 people at 2:30 we arrive are told there are no tables inside we have to sit outside it was very hot with tons of flies swarming the table. Went to Batch on a Sunday and happened to arrive at around 5pm. As we sat down and received menus we noticed there was a "sunset special." Around half our party decided to order off of this menu as it seemed to be a pretty good deal. It gave us a drink, app and main course for 18.50. It specified draft beer as an option for the drink. We ordered but a little while later had a manager come over to inform us that the draft beers we ordered were not allowed. We could choose from only two, none of which the were ones we ordered. What was annoying is that the other draft beers were all the same price on the drink menu.. maybe 50 cents more on some of them. Why draw a line in the sand on this and risk a poor customer experience? Defies logic. The burger I ordered was mediocre and greasy. Definitely not worth the 20 dollars I paid for it. I'm giving 2 stars because we liked our waitress. She was very good and the above experience was not her fault. In short. This place is charging significantly more than normal for food that does not deliver. They do not specify details with their specials in writing. I would not eat here again. read more

The outdoor seating here is super nice. It was a nice night out and even had a slight breeze too. We sat in a high top and started off with some drinks and shared the Mac Attack which was gnocchi (if you know me I LOVE gnocchi!!!!) with gruyere cheese with Dorito dust on top. Genius. This was an interesting combination, but it totally worked. The Dorito dust was the best part and they put enough on it where you had it almost every bite. Easy to say we finished the whole thing! Believe it or not we actually only had this as an appetizer and got more food (SMH people who are foodies?! Am I right guys!?) I ordered the steak salad which was good but I wish the steak would have been cooked a bit less which next time I will for sure order differently as more rare, but it had excellent flavor! They then offered us another table which was a bit better but not by much. Not sure how the place could be so dirty at 5:30 with so few people in the restaurant. Pretty good experience! Went there yesterday with a few others for brunch. We got there at 12:30 and it was pretty empty. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. They have nice outside seating option. The restaurant was nice and clean as were the bathrooms. The server was a sweetheart that new her stuff when it came to the specials and menu. We all did the bottomless brunch they offer a choice between Bloody Mary, mimosa, red or white sangria, and a peach nectar Bellini that you can mix an match anytime. The food was great for must but only okay to me. We started with the dough boys with is like a fried pastry dough. Others liked it I though it was a bit greasy for a doughnut but it was still good. I had the Breakfast Chilaquiles that were very flavorful! My only complain is the "fried tortillas" are chips and they get really soggy really fast. After several trips to this Batch i can give it a solid good ranking. Not excellent and notvexceptional. The food has always been good and the reason to return. Whe inconsistent, it is tasty indeed. The items listed as hot or spicy are actually as advertised. For me this is a huge plus. The hot pepper cheese sreak is exactly that. It is cheesy and has a nice kick, plus served on a great brioche roll. Truly different and delicious. Other hand helds equally good and worth the visit. The brisket and short rib burger can be wonderful. However, they have a tendency to over cook the meat. The last visit had the same ups and downs with menu, meals and service. Again, in spite of some inconsistencies, the food for the group of four was very good. But, service was dismal and indifferent. We would have spent more money if given the chance by the waite staff. The hostess and our waitress were amazing. They were attentive, checked on us and assured we got everything we ordered. We got the truffle fries... I didn't think fries could taste so sad but they were. I've had much better truffle fries (it's our go to app!) and unfortunately these just fell short. The aioli had a heavy vinegary tangy taste that just over powered it, we had to rely heavy on the ketchup to actually eat the fries, yikes! As for the drink... sad to say but they tasted like soap... fragrant soap... I ordered the Thai Tea refresher and my friend ordered the White peach Sangria, just wasn't refreshing or tasty at all. Another ghastly sports bar playing bad music with a funky Gastropub menu. Batgirl and I with another couple adventured to Delray Marketplace. We steeled ourselves for the infamously atrocious and ridiculous planned parking at this newly developed venue. We thought the bustling Gastropub service was slow although our waitress was cocky and amusing in a beer Keller way. The odd thing at the pub are the very weak cocktails served in the very smallest of lilliputian glasses" One would have imagined only little people and those trying to stop drinking would use such miniature glasses. My vodka and alleged freshly squeezed grapefruit juice evaporated faster than I could drink it. Confused by the miniature drink at first thinking it was a sample I threw it down and waiting for a grey goose buzz....puzzled I ordered a second. Upon slower and more refined consumption of the second and again buzzless I asked said cocky waitress " Is there any vodka in your vodka?" Owners ....I would like to take the Grey Goose challenge at this bar. I think they have the second hand frizz or dodgy sky rebottled as the real stuff.( is that still legal in Florida?). We shared a distinctly cooling down margarita flatbread from the Luke warm? brick oven. The sad undercooked flatbread looked like plastic with its slices of mozzarella that had remained semi unmelted and it's cherry tomato's semi uncooked. Tasteless and unsatisfying. Batgirl expressed her mild dissatisfaction and ignored it. I was sure she was going to throw it back. We shared some cheese steak stuffed spring rolls that seemed both interesting and chewy. Batgirl had salmon and Undercooked Brussels. The visitors had a delicious burger and fries and chicken Cesar salad. Which they both enjoyed immensely. Came here with a group of friends and we all tried the free flights of handcrafted cocktails . Fresh bread from local Bakeries and locally sourced greens and vegetables. The chicken club was outstanding. The quinoa bowl however would be better warmed. You can't go wrong with the burgers they're all delicious. And the chicken and waffles is a fun brunch item. We went to batch for Mother's Day. The food was delicious!!!! The server was ok... could have been more relaxed snd friendly, we sat at regular table indoors and the chairs were deplorable!!!! Have been here before this time. My wife and I ordered burgers 1 medium 1 medium well. The medium well was undercooked. I swapped burgers but was undercooked. I requested they recook the burger and was told they don't do that. If I wanted a replacement burger I would have to pay for it since it was half eaten. This place we made reservations for Mother's Day. They met us in the front with s Mimosa and a carnation. The wait was not long and we were seated. My daughter and I decided to order 2 items on the menu and split it with each other on top of ordering the bottomless mimosas, ginger wine coolers and another wine spirit. Also order the bourbon burger that was out of this world and we ordered the quinoa salad that was so good! The kids had the stuffed pretzels and grilled cheese and they loved both and ate every bit. My daughters husband had the egg, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich which came with fried potatoes. That was gone fast! Lol. So I highly recommend this place! This is a spot I'll be revisiting (in fact, I already have!). You have to start off with one of their cocktails on tap. Of these, I recommend the Entourage and the Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade.
