Came for dinner and sat inside. Service was attentive and accommodating. Food was fair, the grain bowls were flavorful but the shrimp was undercooked even after the request was for well done. We had a nice evening with good service, good food and terrific drinks. Batch brews their own root beer, other soft drinks and distills and infuses their own whiskeys. Our party had the snapper, a briscuit and short ribs burger, waffles and fried chicken, mac and cheese with carmelized onions and mushrooms and more. I think the restaurant is not near as busy as it should be because of its design. It puts the bar up front and looks more like a bar and less like a restaurant, a failure of the teo orior restaurants in the same spot. The restaurants that make it in Delray Marketplace, like Apiero and Burt & Max's have a vibrant bar scene but still feel like a restaurant first. Gastropubs work great but not here. First time here, happens to be Gator night for the "big game." I'm still sitting here. Service was pretty bad and it's obnoxiously loud. I ordered the wild mushroom risotto with chicken at $22.50 and it was the crunchiest risotto I've ever had. I won't be coming back. Clearly it's over priced and the food is pretty garbage. Exceeded our expectations.  Went with my wife and my 83 year old Mom and 78 year old MIL for Father's  day - so I got to pick the place.  They were leery of a sports bar but I told Mom at least she could see the finish of the US Open golf tournament. All the ladies were very impressed.  They liked their cocktails.  They loved the deviled egg and especially the brisket egg rolls despite typically avoiding fried foods at restaurants.  Everyone enjoyed their entrees and not a speck of dessert was left on the plates. First came here during the football season as we had heard it was Patriots centric. Heard Tommies wicked good today and Where ya from Wooosta? So to get up to date, normally my gang engages in Happy Hour shenanigans at Bar Louie, however Batch is starting to creep into the conversation as in "where do you wanna go?" It's a straight shot from Boynton on Lyons for me, shorter for the Doc and Paulie who are in Delray. We haven't misbehaved there like we do at Louies (yet) but I think we can horse around a bit and get boisterous without being stared at too hard and truthfully we always have too much fun to care less what anyone thinks so there. Thursday we sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful evening. Thats a big draw for me as the early evenings in March are sublime. Apps and beers at happy hour are 1/2 priced and thats good as if I start at 5 at 7 I'm usually happy enough to get going home safely. I had a couple of Elysian's and then stepped it up with a Coppertail Unholy and as per usual we met some nice folks. They have 3 Belgium beers on a rotating basis form Boca's Barrel of Monks if your into that. The crowd here tends to dress nicely, more lawyers and businessmen than carpenters for sure. The live music at happy hour, not a full band of course is more like acoustic duo's adds a pleasant S FLA vibe. Good TV's, attentive servers, clean bathroom and best of all there seems to be a lot of HOT women. I believe certain nights from 9-11 woman drink free!. Guys you might want to think about taking a nap after work and then fly in for the kill around 10.30. You may not get lucky but I bet you have a great time. This place is a winner. read more

It's a upscale sports bar nothing to right home about. Good seating and open view of the monitors. Allot of staff and a decent size bar. The Mac Attack was not very good at all. So I'm re-reviewing this place . It's been about 7 months since we first tried it and dealt with a less than stellar server. She is no longer here(we were told by management). We arrived on a Friday night around 6:30 pm and it was pretty packed here. We sat up at the bar, which is usually our preference. We were greeted right away by our bartender, Vic. We also had the pleasure of meeting the main manager,Dustin, who was also very friendly and welcoming. Vic the bartender was awesome all night. He was extremely professional and attentive. I ordered the Aperol Cosmo and it was delicious and he made it extra strong, just like I asked. We the shared the loaded truffle fries and they were freakin amazing! Such strong truffle flavor and topped with a rich and creamy cheese sauce, along with chunks of thick bacon. Next, we shared the cheesesteak eggrolls, which were served with a cheese sauce on the side. Since it was happy hour these bar snacks were only $8! Nice! All in all, a MUCH better experience this time around and we definitely won't let 7 months go by before returning! read more
