Bavette's is one of the best steakhouses I've been to in a long time. It might honestly be the best steakhouse in all of Las Vegas. The atmosphere is classy and intimate, and the food absolutely lives up to the experience. Be sure to order the dry-aged bone-in ribeye. It was perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. Upon walking in the restaurant, it has a very cool vibe of an old style Chicago Speakeasy. Plenty of tables and booth seating, as well as a very large bar area to have drinks and enjoy the food. The menu has a nice variety of options with the classic cuts of steak, fish, chicken, other types of seafood, so no matter what your craving, Bavettes will have it. The staff is incredible. They will keep your drinks full and check on each table multiple times to make sure you are satisfied with the food. The food is top tier with good quality steak, excellent fried chicken and amazing mashed potatoes to go with it. Also the stroganoff has tasty bites of short ribs and mushrooms on top of a bed of pasta in white sauce. This steakhouse has a beautiful and classic atmosphere. It was one of the most highly recommended steak spots that kept coming up during my Vegas research. We ordered the sourdough, mixed greens & apples salad, the dry aged bone-in ribeye, and the thick cut maple & pepper bacon. It was SO much food for two people, and for it being our splurge meal of the trip, it didn't end up being a "break the bank" kind of meal. The sourdough bread was pretty good, but it was just that: "pretty good". Unless you need bread as a precursor to every steak meal, I don't think it's as much of a must-get as people make it sound. The salad was light and refreshing, and it was a good accompaniment to the rest of our heavy meal. The dry aged ribeye was very good, with a really beefy flavor. It was tender and flavorful. The bacon was also very hyped up by those who recommended this place to me. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, but it was SO rich and SO fatty (definitely leaning more thick cut pork belly than candied bacon) and very heavy on the pepper that I actually couldn't eat more than one piece. Service was very attentive. I could tell that they take that seriously here. They have a stroganoff and since I was a kid, Beef Stroganoff has always been one of my favorite things to eat. As Father's Day is one of the only times I really get to choose where and what to eat, I decided today was the day to give it a try! Service was what you expect from a higher end restaurant. Prompt, courteous and attentive. I started with the handmade sourdough with cultured butter with sea salt. The bread has a crunchy crust but was a little dense for my personal taste. The butter, was well, butter. I also had the wedge salad. The wedge was standard steakhouse flair, except it included a thick, candied, generous piece of pork belly. At last, the stroganoff arrived. Unlike a traditional stroganoff, their offering included hand cut fettuccine, instead of egg noodles. The fettuccine was light with just the right amount of firmness for a good chew. The star of the dish was the beef short rib. It was sweet and savory and was complimented perfectly with the button mushrooms. Great room, great service. My husband and I wanted to try a bunch of things so we split the burger and it was probably the best burger I've ever had. I also got the steak frites. I got the skirt steak version, but I wish I had tried the rib eye version instead because it was not as tender as I had wished it was. My husband got the fried chicken and the bite I had was great. We didn't want to skip dessert so we got the chocolate pie and the carrot cake and have no regrets. I look forward to our return visit! P.S. I truly appreciate people who take hospitality seriously. Our party of nine chose Bavette's Steakhouse at Park MGM to celebrate two very special occasions: a 36-year business partnership and a 78th birthday. Unfortunately, what should have been a memorable dinner was overshadowed by poor food quality, rushed service, and an overall lack of hospitality. One person's steak had to be sent back three times. The first steak was significantly overcooked for rare. The replacement was raw and incorrect yet again. By the third attempt, the steak was delivered with what appeared to be security accompanying it, and they literally stood over my son while he cut into it--as though the steak were being delivered by the Secret Service. It was uncomfortable, unnecessary, and frankly embarrassing. Our waiter also seemed extremely rushed. On at least two occasions, he assumed someone was finished ordering and began walking away before they had completed their order. We had to stop him and explain that they were not done. I ordered the prime rib French dip, and nowhere in the menu description did I see anything indicating that it would come covered with onions and red and green peppers. Had those ingredients been disclosed, I absolutely would not have ordered it. I will be posting a photo of the menu description because the sandwich I received was completely different from what I expected and, for me, was disgusting. What disappointed me just as much was the restroom situation. It is 2026, and a restaurant of this stature inside a major Las Vegas resort has no changing table and no family restroom? We had a baby with us and ultimately had to place a changing pad on the sink area to change her. Other guests became irritated, which made an already awkward situation even more uncomfortable. Families should not be put in that position. What really bothered me was that, despite multiple issues during our meal, no manager ever came to our table to address the situation. For a party of nine celebrating important milestones and experiencing repeated problems, I would have expected management to acknowledge what was happening. I had Bavette's very high on my list of restaurants to visit at Park MGM. Unfortunately, this experience was incredibly underwhelming. For the reputation, atmosphere, and price point, I expected considerably better food, service, communication, and attention from management. I have been a huge fan of Bavette's since I went to the location in Chicago. Everything about them, from the food, the service, decor and the ambience speaks to old school steakhouse vibes. The Vegas location was no different. The food and service was top notch. I tell everyone not to sleep on the fried chicken, which is some of the best you'll have, but this last time we discovered how great the Prime Beef French Dip is as well. The Lyonnaise salad with that thick bacon and soft egg is superb, and of course you can't go wrong with any of their steaks. I so badly wanted to give this one five stars, but I think I also had a 'different' experience with a very large party. We were in town for a work trip and there were 14 of us who came for dinner. It was great being in the private room so we had space, but it was pretty crammed with the big (although very comfortable) seats. The wine was excellent for the table and the few cocktails we ordered for the rest of dinner were solid. I liked most of the appetizers -- the goat cheese dip was great and the tartare was good (but just a bit salty). The bread was amazing and I could have eaten all of that myself. Salads were great and I had an extra serving. The salmon was SO INCREDIBLY SWEET I could barely eat it. Same feedback from the others. I shared my neighbor's short rib pasta and that was incredible. Dessert was disappointing and most of us did not eat the cake. Service was good and I felt like the table touches were appropriate and there was enough help for our main server. Stepping inside it's a large space that has incredible ambiance. Large bar in the middle of the restaurant showcases a traditional steakhouse vibe that isn't stuffy and promotes a subtle elegance. Service was friendly and attentive without being pushy or overbearing. The standout here is the food. Everything we tried was great, but especially the burger. OMG -- it's definitely not not the best burger I've ever eaten, and I'm strongly considering that it may be the best burger I've ever eaten. The fried chicken was also fantastic -- perfectly crispied and seasoned atop buttery mashed potatoes that were creamy and so delicious. WARNING: Save room for dessert. This may be my favorite steakhouse in all of Vegas and is the best steak that I've had in 2026 so far. Was visiting town for my birthday weekend and chose Bavette's as one of my dinners and I was lucky enough to get reservations and very happy that I stopped in. Our server, Danielle was absolutely fantastic and made the meal really special. The interior is beautifully done and it's very dark and moody and is the sort of place that you'd want to spend some time. It reminds me of a speakeasy and they even do have a literal speakeasy in the back that you can have a few cocktails and food at as well. The interior is pretty large with many different types of seating options and the very middle of the restaurant is a bar where it's first come first serve bar seating that has the same menu. I started off the meal with the Lyonnaise salad and really liked it and would recommend as a nice starter and we also followed up with a Baked Goat Cheese, which was even better. Every part about it was delicious and it's a sort of thing that I could have often. Finally came the Traditional Filet Mignon of 10oz and a side of elote style corn and as mentioned the steak was absolutely fantastic. Everything about it was cooked perfectly and the flavors were just tremendous. We had high expectations based on the reviews for Bavette's Steakhouse & Bar located inside Park MGM Casino. There are some strong elements here, the overall experience didn't quite deliver at the level we anticipated. The atmosphere is one of Bavette's biggest strengths. It leans into that cozy, old-school Chicago steakhouse feel with dark wood and classic decor. That said, the tables are packed extremely close together--so much so that we felt like we were unintentionally part of the couple's date next to us. It took away from the experience more than we expected and made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. Portions are large and very shareable, which helps offset the high price point. Still, when you're paying $35 for an appetizer and $99 for a steak, expectations rise accordingly--and that's where things started to fall short. We began with the crab cake and sourdough bread. The crab cake was loaded with crab and minimal filler, which is exactly what you want, though $35 for a single cake still feels steep (even if it's easily split). The sourdough bread was a standout--thick-cut slices (closer to 1.5-2 inches) with great flavor and more than enough for two. Next was the $16 Lyonnaise salad with bacon and a soft-cooked egg, which was very well done--balanced, flavorful, and again large enough to share. Then came the $99, 20oz dry-aged bone-in ribeye--the dish we were most excited about--and unfortunately, the biggest disappointment. Ordered medium rare, it arrived with a bitter, heavily over-charred crust on about half the steak but the inside temp was perfect. For a dry-aged cut at that price point, that's a major miss. Proper seasoning also seemed lacking; while rock salt is served on the side, this is something that should have been handled in the kitchen, not left for the table. Sides are à la carte, so we added the loaded baked potato. It was large and shareable, but pretty standard--nothing that stood out or elevated the meal. By the end, we decided to skip dessert--partly because the lack of privacy made us ready to leave, and partly because our expectations had dropped enough that we didn't feel dessert would redeem the experience. Service was solid overall, and one key tip: make a reservation. Walk-in waits can be very long. Bottom line: Bavette's has a great vibe and generous portions, but for the price you expect better execution. We had Carlos, a wonderful server that was fun and attentive, as was his lovely assistant server. We started with the sourdough bread, we got the large but the pieces were so big we didn't eat all of it. Truthfully, we could have gone without or just gotten the smaller size...it wasn't the most amazing bread, I've had better. It wasn't even warm- which would have made it better. I got 3 oysters, 1 had caviar and they were delicious!! I ordered the cucumber martini which was pretty good. My husband got the old fashioned forrester and he liked it. I had a sip and it was good and strong =P I ordered the petite filet - med rare plus and it was cooked perfectly!! Very juicy and tender. The hollandaise sauce on the side and seasoned salt was great, the steak didn't need it but it was nice to have. My husband got the ribeye - med rare and his too was delicious, super juicy and rich. For sides we got the asparagus, Mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes. All were super good! Some of the best asparagus I've had. The Mac and cheese was a bit better than the mashed potatoes, liked the texture and taste more...but both amazing. My final drink was the espresso martini, very good but had I known they have a chocolate martini, I would have done that instead. With a birthday coming up and Las Vegas being famous for its steakhouses, I decided to visit Bavette's Steakhouse & Bar with high expectations. The result was pretty mixed, I'd say. While I loved the old-school ambiance and jazz vibes, the service--friendly though it was--was unbearably slow. Not entirely our server's fault, but it seemed like they were too busy handling too many tables. There was a great selection of wine by the glass, though they are very expensive (my red cost $31). The food itself was good. We got the 42-day dry-aged ribeye ($99.99) with creamed spinach ($17.99) and Brussels sprouts ($19.99). The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and went really well with our sides (I especially loved the Brussels sprouts). We found that this was enough food for two people since we don't eat a lot. Somehow, we also had to wait 30 minutes for a chocolate pie ($15.99) that should have already been ready. We followed up three times before the server finally went to the kitchen and brought the pie. They even have pickleback shots on the menu, so naturally we had to do two rounds, lol! The steaks were amazing and so fresh, and the dry-aging really takes the flavor to the next level. Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We shared the dry-aged ribeye, and they cut it up for us, which was a really nice. The truffle mac and cheese was incredible, and we also had oysters that were super fresh and delicious. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Im going to start by saying that the food here is amazing. Every dish we tried was delicious. The portions are decent and shareable. The service was extra fast, the drinks were also good and they carry a good selection of wines and spirits. I loved the dark ambiance with dim lights and soft music in the background. My husband and I celebrated my birthday here yesterday and it was honestly one of the best experiences. Our server, Dustin, provided superb service and made sure we were taken care of. We ordered the ribeye steak, Brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes and we thought everything was excellent. They also gave me a dessert with a candle for my birthday which was very much appreciated. Although there are so many other steakhouse options in Vegas, I find it difficult to not visit here when in town, especially since my sister and her family joined us this time, and I needed a place that would not disappoint. As soon as you step in off the Park MGM casino floor, you are drawn in by the foyer, waiting area. It is dimly lit with all the appropriate decorations to set the mood. The host who checked us in was friendly, ensured correct pronunciation of my name, and even provided my partner with a pair of house slippers because her shoes were hurting her feet. After waiting about 10 minutes, we were sat in a separate area from the main dining floor. It had its own bar and looked to accommodate 6 tables, including our party of 7. Although I prefer the livelihood of the main area, the privacy and vibe was nice, so we could comfortably speak. Our waiter greeted us almost immediately, took our drink and bread order. Everyone was very pleased with their cocktails. I highly recommend their Japanese Whiskey Old Fashion. Now, onto what really matters, the steaks. Half of us ordered my go-to - the ribeye and frites because at its price, the size and taste hit like it costs twice as much. Mashed potatoes and mushrooms were added a la carte. Wow! Some of the best I have ever had, especially the mushrooms. My sister had the crab cake appetizer, which was plenty and delicious. My brother-in-law ordered the 20 oz ribeye.
