I've never had a better to-go experience in my life. No exaggeration. The food and iced coffee from Baxter and Frost turned an extremely stressful day into something beautiful. We didn't realize the Pride Parade was happening and got stuck in downtown traffic for over 90 minutes--literally crawling along the same block. It was chaos. Before that, a vendor at Pike Place Market tried to overcharge me $250 for something barely worth $20. I was irritated, overheated, and emotionally done. But then came Baxter and Frost. I'd seen this place earlier in the day and made a mental note to come back--and wow, am I glad I followed that instinct. I picked up a wildflower iced latte for my sister and two iced hummingbird lattes for me and my mom. They were flawless. Floral, creamy, and balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. I also grabbed the Nutella brownie, a mini blackberry pie, and a savory artichoke spinach puff pastry. Every bite was comforting and flavorful. That pie especially? Heaven. The pastry? Perfectly flaky. The brownie? Rich but not too sweet. And here's the real kicker: I had to walk four blocks down and five blocks back up steep Seattle hills in flip flops, carrying all that food and coffee while wearing a two-piece eggshell white outfit (because yes, I'm from San Diego). Not one spill. Not a drip. By the time I got to my sister and we hit the road to Portland, my feet were throbbing--but that food and iced coffee made everything allllll better. No kidding. It reminded me how good Seattle can be when you find gems like this. They were just starting to get swamped by a post-Pride Parade crowd when I walked out. I caught the sweet spot, and I'm so glad I did. Baxter and Frost is the kind of place you go out of your way for.

Stopped in because my daughter saw the cake pops in the window. They had a nice selection of pastries, cookies and other treats. It smelled amazing in there and the staff was really nice. We tried a couple cake pops, chocolate brownie and a chocolate chip cookie. I'm not normally one for cake pops but the Oreo cake pop was really good. The brownie was decadent. Located right by Pike Place Market, with lots of seating. My only issue was the price, it was a bit high. For 4 items, $30.

We were all full after lunch and probably would have missed Baxter and Frost, but the aroma wafting from the entrance enticed us inside. I'm a sucker for freshly baked pastries with an espresso and Baxter and Frost did not disappoint. The mini apple pie with ice cream was AMAZING! We even took one to go. Located just a few feet from Pike Place Market, this place is absolutely worth the trip !

Came here on a Saturday morning from Pike Place. My husband came in craving sweets, so we ordered the Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie and the Dark Chocolate Cookie with Sea Salt. Both were delicious and soft! The Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie was and not too sweet; the peanut butter flavor was the right amount and the texture was gooey. The Dark Chocolate Cookie with Sea Salt was soft and gooey without being too sweet; we could definitely taste the sea salt on top. Also, the edges were more crisp and the middle was gooey. Highly recommend these two items! There is seating inside but it was crowded. Most folks were taking a break from Pike Place and left after their snacks/drinks.

The bakery was quite fresh. My partner and I came by this place looking for coffee and a quick bite. We ended up buying a raspberry danish, a cookie, and a specialty latte. Combined with the atmosphere, it made it a great place to pick up some sweet treats on a hot day. The service was smooth. The staff was patience while I was making decisions in my orders.

This is a quintessential excellent service establishment. Now that we've been here on more than one occasion and had the same, consistent, amazing service, I can say that whoever is in charge of service delivery training deserves a raise. The ice cream and baked goods alone are amazing and worth every penny. There is always a good assortment to choose from and the ice cream flavors are pretty diverse. The ambience is very casual and family friendly. Whether you are looking for lattes, ice cream or baked goods, they got you.

Perfect coffee and pastry shop near the Pike Market! It was the fresh pastries sitting on the racks near the street window that drew us in. My husband and I ordered iced lattes and had a berry danish. There are so many sweets to choose from! What a great variety of options of cookies, pastries, ice cream, and so much more. There is also a wall of packaged items for purchase which makes for a great gift or souvenir. The staff were friendly and quick, the line was steady and moved quickly. We even sat inside and enjoyed the excitement of downtown. The danish was delicious! Perfect filling to pastry ratio. We'll remember to come back on our next city visit!

This is a very nice looking bakery/ice cream/coffee shop located not far from Pike Place Market. They have plenty of interior seating. The ice cream is very rich and creamy. It's not cheap but the ice cream is definitely high quality and they give generous servings. The cookies and baked goods looked really good but we only tried the ice cream. Well worth trying.

Great little hole in the wall, with even better cookies! Stopped by here as we were walking to Pikes Market, and had 4 different cookies (buy three, get one deal was great). The cookies as well as the coffee were great! Cookies were huge, but not overcooked, and coffee was good as well (sorry if you just want plain coffee, you can get an Americana). Overall probably glad I don't live closer, as I would stop here way too often.

This is where all of your dessert dreams come true! They have everything here from cookies to pies to brownies and even ice cream. I got the nutella brownie with a scoop of ice cream on top which was so good. I went back 2 days later because I just had to have it before my flight home. The service is wonderful. If you like Pumpkin flavored treats, I have a recommendation for you! Ask for "The Brian", a pumpkin milkshake with 1+ shots of espresso (your call on how many!). It is loaded in sugar, so I'd recommend it as an occasional treat, but oh man is it good. Jacob is the originator of this wonderful drink and it is legitimately the best milkshake I've ever had. Look no further than Baxter & Frost! * A huge variety of different treats that are all incredible, such as cinnamon rolls, brownies, hot fudge, brewed coffee. Different varieties of ice cream and candy, too! Even passing by the place gives you an intensely appetizing and inviting smell of fudge and baked goods. * Extremely friendly and energetic staff that are always happy to help. I've had a good experience with everyone that works there, but Jacob is one of the many that stood out. Enticed by the good vibes and impressive array of baked goods and lattes (oh my!), I knew from the time I entered this establishment that this place would be a gem and it absolutely, 100% did not disappoint. Being a beautiful and sunny 80° Saturday in Seattle, everyone was out and about enjoying Pike Place Market and bustling in the streets. Everyone I encountered - both employees and fellow patrons - were kind, caring, and accommodating. The sense of welcoming and hospitality was truly felt. A nice young man named Josh provided service with a smile. Ordered two 8 oz chai lattes and a chocolate chip cookie for Mom and me. It was thin and crispy, yet decadent and full of flavor - almost reminiscent of brown butter. Perfect for sharing. The chai lattes were perfectly sized- not too small, not too large and full of flavor with undertones of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and clove with a splash of milk - just the way it should be. The foam on top was a nice touch. We were in town for an Alaskan Cruise and will definitely be stopping by again on our next visit. read more

I was meandering around Pike's Place to find a spot for brunch. I didn't even have a sweet tooth at the time, but the smell of freshly baked cookies wafted in the air and pulled me in. My intent was to just stop in and look, but I couldn't help but gravitate toward their butterscotch cookies, which I did get. It was delightful. Soft in the center and crispy on the edges. I also loved the morsels of butterscotch that were generously spread throughout the cookie. The cookie was the only thing I got, but I would come back for the Krispies Treats, especially the Fruity Pebbles version of it. Customer service was great. Delicious ice cream! We had the Tillamook mudslide and it was creamy and yummy! They have homemade brownies and cookies to make it al a mode. My husband got a brownie and it was divine. The place just opened this year and the store is to be Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Haven't visited Seattle/Pike Place since my college days, and I was enticed into this place like a cartoon character floating along the scent trail of fresh baked pie on a window sill. Immediately I was reminded of the confectionaries at Disneyland, complete with a view into the magic of baking from the line. Rows of baked goods lined the glass cases, and I wish more than anything I would would've gone back to try more! I got the Oreo brownie which they offered to warm up. It was perfectly fudgey and gooey, and amazingly not overly sweet. The lucky charms rice Krispy treat was also good, of course the cereal isn't as crunchy given the marshmallows and butter but it wasn't a bad texture. Lastly we tried the toffee chip cookie and I can honestly say I have never had anything like it. The bottom of the cookie had been caramelized with the toffee and added an extra chewy, delightful texture. The flavor was equally was delightful. I really hope this place is still here whenever I get to visit Seattle again! read more

Cute dessert shop near Pike Place. Everything moved very fast here but those behind the counter are still very friendly and helpful. The prices are high but you can expect that since it's so close to pike place. We got some ice cream, and an Oreo brownie that was very rich in flavor. Best part was the lady helping us behind the counter asking if we wanted a corner, side, or middle piece. I would come back for sure to try their cake pops and dipped strawberries. read more

Support this great place! Pleasant atmosphere large and airy. FOOD IS DELICIOUS. We tried goat cheese and onion scone, tomato basil puff pastry, and blueberry muffin. So creative and perfect. Best pastries I've had in a long time. Lots of times a bakery wont have good coffee and this place thankfully had GREAT coffee. They are making this stuff onsite. All together bill was about 30 bucks which averages 6 per item. Worth it and recommend! read more

Oh there goes the diet. Pike Place market area has a new best bakery. From the various decadent brownies to the cookies and the cake pops, heavenly. Pi day required I try the individual pecan pie, warm from the oven. Delicious short crust and the filling tasted of perfectly toasty pecan,not overly sweet.Vegan choices, too, lovely macarons. I think the pricing is just much too high. You're paying for the vibes, not for a great cup of coffee. The matcha we tried was mediocre. There are so many other great places for coffee in Seattle, for just a fraction of the price. I think Storyville is preying on tourists visiting the market. They probably have to charge that much to keep the 8 employees milling about behind the counter employed. The space does have lots of seating, but it was nearly full during our early afternoon visit. Save your money, find another great local coffee spot!

Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups. Sad to say, but my time visiting this chain has come to an end.

It made the experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. As a local, I expect better consistency and customer care. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. I rarely leave reviews unless the place is ridiculously excellent or unbelievably despicable In this case it's unbelievably despicable. I was in town visiting Seattle. I'm transported back to the 1950s. I went into this place and stood in line for some ice cream and cake. So I'm here waiting patiently. There was 2 people working behind the counter, a white girl with blonde hair and a white guy with dark hair. The girl was helping the family in front of me but as soon as the guy was done helping the previous customer he completely skipped me and happily went on to help the customer behind me in line. Yes! Can you believe that he totally ignored me and skipped me. And while the both of them were both serving the customers on either side of me, the guy whispered to the girl and said "sorry". I'm not sure if that was meant to say sorry you are stuck with her. No one even acknowledged me just to say "we'll be right with you". I'm Asian and I truly believe that was an act of racism. The workers there are totally racist. I would've said something but they were not worth my time or energy during my visit. I just left. I'm glad I didn't give 1 cent to this horrible establishment. I can't believe there was another review about this same situation and yet these people still work here. I would NOT recommend this place. I don't mind paying for their overpriced ice cream but to be treated like I didn't exist. Heck nah! Who owns this place hiring racist?! read more
