SHADY! I went in to look at a car, things seems normal at first so I put a hold on it and came back after the weekend. I purchased the car and drive it home. As soon as I got home (45minute drive), the alarm started going off. It eventually stop after a few minutes of leaving it alone. I went to bed hoping it was a dud and would fix itself by morning. Got in the car the next morning and the same thing. Alarm kept going off, I put the key in and was able to start it but nothing would turn it off. Long story short, I had to drive the car back another 45 minutes to the dealership only for it to die completely down the road. I ended up having to push the car down the street. Thankfully some guy at the wiener-snizle next door came out to help me push it to the dealership. (Shout out that guy.) Then I went in and ask for a refund, which couldn't be completed because the bank hadn't even cleared the check yet because again this was less than 24 hours later. Alex told me he would handle it and get the money refunded the next day. I call the next day, they have a "power outage" and can't do it. I call the day after that, they were able to Zelle me all but $60 for the bank fees and immediately jumped to accusing me of breaking the security system. I went to this place so we could go in the gentleman was nice enough to let me drive a Prius that I was looking at for as long as I wanted unfortunately I had to leave and I came back a week later and I saw some other more interesting cars that I would prefer to have so I asked if I could test drive those And he caught an attitude with me because I went from a Prius to a BMW and wouldn't let me test drive any more cars even though I had only test driven one. A few months ago I began looking for a Mazda Miata and found one for sale close by to where I live. I visited the dealer (Bay Quality Motors-BQM) but was not ready to make an offer to purchase as I felt the car was a bit overpriced. The staff was very pleasant and not the least bit pushy, allowing me to look at the car and answering my questions. When I left they thanked me for stopping by, unlike other used car dealers I dealt with in the course of my search. The car sat there for awhile and BQM made a price adjustment which got my attention, so I visited again and expressed my interest in purchasing the Miata to Cyrus. We still had a bit of a gap to bridge so I told him I would need to think about it. Again he thanked me for coming by and I left. In the interim I continued looking elsewhere but none of the other Miatas I looked at satisfied all the requirements I was looking for except the little gem at BQM. It was an older model with extremely low miles and the vehicle was so clean I thought I noticed that new car smell when I first sat in it. So I contacted Cyrus to arrange for a local mechanic to check the car out for me. Cyrus could not have been more accommodating, taking the vehicle to the mechanic and picking it up after I spent time with the mechanic as he checked over the car and confirmed what I was hoping, that is the car was mechanically as good as it looked. I again met with Cyrus to see if we could find common ground and after both of us giving in a little bit we were able to settle on a price. I picked the car up and have been enjoying it since. I suppose what impressed me most about the interaction with the staff at BQM was they treated me with the upmost of respect and made it easy for me to return each time to pick up where we left off. I visited too many dealers that seemed upset I was not giving them a down payment within 10 minutes of looking at their vehicles for the first time, making it uncomfortable for me to return. I am not an impulsive buyer and was not interested in dealing with a salesperson who visibly expressed impatience with my pace. BQM never made me feel anything but welcomed when I visited their facility. I suppose at some point in the process, I wanted to give them my business as I felt they deserved it. read more

The past 2 weeks I have been lookin for a car newer than my 2003 ford focus & came across this car dealership online. I seen a car I liked & called to speak to someone. I called the first time and left a message for someone to give me a call back. No luck after waiting for hours. I then called again & spoke to someone named Arion who advised to fill out the app online & that he'd get back to me in about 2 hours. Once again, no one got back to me so I called later that evening & he told me that he would call me back in 20 mins after he sends the info over to the bank. Still no call back! The next day I called and spoke to Syrus who I had to explain the situation to all over again, (what I was looking for, amount down, monthly payments etc). He apologized that Arion never got back to me and said that they have received a lot of online apps. I appreciated the apology but the lack of communication was very unprofessional. He told me that he would work on my app that day and that I'd hear back from him at the latest, the next business day. Simply put, I never heard back from them & its a good thing I didnt because I ended up going to a nissan dealership and drove off with a new car. This place has horrible communication!!! read more

I was not even going to bother to review these guys cause Cyrus is a nice guy. I bought the vehicle as is, but buyer BEWARE!!!! when i took the car to my mechanic he informed me that the shop that Bay Quality took it to, caked the silicone on the intake manifold when they removed the heads off the engine to clear the knock sensor that is bad. I had one of their employees tell me they just installed a new clutch and didn't think much of it when you have to push the clutch all the way in just to get the vehicle in gear. The entire transmission needs to be replaced. I have accepted the fact that they sold me a lemon and now tried to sell the car for half of what i purchased it for as a mechanic special. I can't even sell the car cause Bay Quality never bothered to submit the paper work to DMV. Now i am trying to sell the car with a duplicate lost title paper which no one wants to buy. These guys come off as a small family business which i am all for supporting, but there true colors is they are out to just make a quick buck and scam you. They will learn really quick you can't scam people in this Tri Valley area and stay in business for long. Sooner or later people will find out what your true intentions are. read more

If there was an option for no star, I would honestly choose that option. I came across dealer online, called and emailed to get a hold of someone, and didn't receive a return phone call until about 5 weeks later. I decided to purchase/finance a 2005 Nissan Altima, May 2018 with their extended warranty option. Within less than two weeks check engine light came on. I took the car to Nissan service to have repairs completed. it was found that there were WAY MORE things wrong with the vehicle then what codes showed with the check engine light. The warranty of course does not want to cover anything and I tried to work with dealership but they have been NO HELP. I don't trust them to fix vehicle on their own because apparently according to the Nissan dealership someone had already attempted fix the car and took vehicle apart but they did not put it back together correctly! Nissan stated that the smog that was completed had expired by the time of purchase. I got the fuel pump, fuel pump injector and belts replaced by Nissan dealership and proceeded to take to my personal mechanic, who asked first if it was a salvage title? In which, was told, no. clear carfax and he proceeded to state that there is NO WAY THAT THE VEHICLE PASSED SMOG due to the parts on this vehicle. AND Its been almost 90 days and I have yet to receive tags or plates for the car. This dealer sold me a piece of crap car! Did not provide smog certificate, assist with repairs or try to, nor did they register car for me with DMV although i paid $471 for it. VERY FRAUDULENT!!! BEWARE. DO NOT PURCHASE WITH THIS COMPANY, They will screw you just for their own personal gain. read more

This dealer is probably one of the worst dealers I have had to deal with. I bought a vehicle from them that continues to have check engine light issues and screwed up exhaust leaks caused from them having someone weld pieces to the exhaust. I asked them to fix a couple of things and they didn't, so I am out more monry now to have them fixed. This dealership dose not return calls, I have left 5 messages the last 3 weeks and never have they returned my call. I bought the vehicle over 1 1/2 months ago and still don't have any DMV paperwork or License plates! If you are going to purchase a vehicle make sure you take it to get checked out. They even installed a new battery for us. We had looked at few other cars in Livermore and Dublin as well but they had the best car for the price. Their prices are really low compared to other places. I think since they're a family business they don't have to pay too much commission. The whole process took about 20 minutes. And when we were ready to leave they had the car washed and put some gas for us. Honestly we were very pleased with their overall service and good selection. We had a great experience at Bay Quality Motors! My husband and I had been frantically car hunting all weekend as our one and only car had died on us and we needed something asap. We weren't really impressed with any of the cars within our budget at the variety of dealers we had been to in Livermore and Dublin. We had seen a posting on Craig's List for a 2012 Ford Escape and it looked too good to be true! So we checked it out, test drove and knew it was the right car. Cyrus gave us great service and waited for us the next day to buy it so that we could pay with cash for a better deal. We really liked knowing that the car came from an auction and was previously owned by a company. Cyrus also took it to a mechanic of our choice to get it checked out so that we could have a thorough report of the car and everything checked out great. My son and I walked into Bay Quality Motors and we ask if we can just browse. They didn't follow us around. We got to open and look at the cars we were interested in and was able to examine them as best we could without being hounded. I told my son not to get too excited because there is no way I was going to purchase a car if they were not going to make a deal. We saw a nice 2001 Acura Integra and for its age it was in pretty good shape. We drove it around and Cyrus(sales guy) told us to drive it has much as we'd like until we got comfortable with the car. We saw some flaws here and there but it was still a great car. I pointed it all out to Cyrus he acknowledge all the flaws and without me asking he suggested some pricing until we got to a point were I felt it was a fair price. Super nice guy, easy to deal with, and fair. I wound up calling my wife to do a fund transfer to our checking so I can pay for it on my debit card. The process was smooth and comfortable.
