I told him it was my first time trying it and he warned me it was very spicy. I ate the pieces on the top that weren't sitting in the sauce. They were delicious! With a little radish in between pieces it was perfect. We will definitely be back again soon. We took our food to go, but It looks like it would be a great place to hang out for dinner. I was very disappointed with my experience at bb.q Chicken. My order was delayed by approximately 40 minutes, and there was little to no communication regarding the delay. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I was charged extra for radish. After such a significant delay, I would have expected some level of customer service whether that's a sincere apology, a complimentary side, or some gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience. Many restaurants go out of their way to take care of customers when delays happen, but that wasn't the case here. Unfortunately, no apology was offered, and I left feeling like my time and business were not valued. The food may be good, but customer service is just as important. Every time I order pickup from the Cerritos spot, they pack everything in plastic bags and the moisture builds up--by the time I get home, the chicken's already soggy. But THIS location? They use brown paper bags, so the chicken stays crunchy all the way home. Every takeout place should honestly know this trick by now! My go-to flavors are the Spicy Original or Cheeseling when I'm in the mood for something different. My family loves the Honey Garlic and Soy Garlic, so we usually grab three medium orders--about $33 each, so roughly $100 total. It lasts us through the night and into the next morning, usually 2-3 meals for all of us. Service is always friendly, and we usually call ahead for pickup after work.
