This used to be my go-to place for Korean fried chicken after I stumbled across it during the pandemic but after today, I'm moving on... to a different location. The food is usually good but this time it smelled and tasted different. It's possible that my order was incorrect. But that isn't the reason I'm moving on. The owner of this location is just not friendly, bordering rude. The service from him is non-existent and I've been here multiple times and it's always the same lack of service. He doesn't look at me when handing me my food and the vibe is just really poor. I guess I'm just more annoyed than anything by his attitude especially because they advertised "better service" when he took over a couple of years ago. Honestly, the guy that manned the counter during the pandemic had one of the best customer service attitudes out there. I wish I knew where he went... I would rather take my money there. There was a change in management two months ago and the new owners are wonderful. The business is bustling and it's my new favorite place to grab a beer and chicken. My favorites are the honey garlic wings, soy garlic wings, ban-ban chicken and the dduk bokki (spicy rice cake)! They even have draft beer and it's a great spot to watch sports! read more

Got a takeout order here for the first time in a long while and it was really good! Not sure if there is new ownership but the food was a lot better than before as well as the service. My first time trying Korean fried chicken. I've been curious about it since watching several K-dramas. Looked up on Yelp and bb.q Chicken popped up and since it was located close by, decided to try it. My-oh-my, what a find! My husband went to pick up our online order and was greeted by a very nice and friendly lady who thought my husband was Korean. She was finishing packing our order and gave us a complimentary container of their pickled radish. We ordered 3 different kinds of their boneless chicken (original, soy garlic and honey garlic) based on their listed popularity. I also order the kimchee fried rice and corn cheese. We were all so delighted with each flavor, each piece of chicken was crispy, juicy and full of flavor. I can tell that each piece was perhaps hand-cut from the bone of the chicken wing and not a typical nugget. My adult son devoured the kimchee fried rice and the corn cheese was bomb! Before ending the call, the staff said it would be ready in 15 minutes. 15 minutes later, we arrived and it was immediately ready for us to pay and pick up. A large order of Soy Garlic Chicken is approximately $33.00. When we got our order, it was super warm and I can definitely taste the soy garlic flavor by its fresh scent. The chicken was really tender and blended well with the soy garlic sauce. It was really crispy and flavorful as always. The ambiance inside and out is truly spotless and inviting. Me and a plus one arrived at 10:30pm and I noticed that it said they close at 11:30 and to be honest I felt as if that was enough time to cook the chicken and be out of there before 11:30 pm.
