Okay, to start, I have had BonChon before so this might be a little biased only because BonChon is unbeatable. But a decent korean chicken wing is all I ask and unfortunately I did not receive. At first it had a weird smell so we was skeptical but gave it a try anyways. (We are so glad we did) The young lady taking our order was very helpful and gave me two top recommendations: secret sauce or honey garlic. I went with her favorite which was the honey garlic. What a quaint and enjoyable hidden gem in Doctor Philipps area! It's clean, spacious and they offer tea with their own popping pearls as well as Terra Beer, and coca-Cola products. We each tried a tea and popping pearls. The strawberry lemonade, and peach one were really both quite tasty! The pearls were like gummy and tasty too! The service is great! You can order ahead and or when you get there, for us Annabell A suggested I get the honey garlic cause I love garlic . We ordered the golden original, a honey garlic. And a Gangnam style! Delicious. The Gangnam style was spicy, light airy and well seasoned. The golden original had enough seasoning to give it a little something and not salty, airy and fresh, the honey garlic had visible pieces of garlic and airy and just very tasty. We to-go from this place at least once a week. Our go-tos are golden original wings and secret sauce wings. (We accidentally ordered whole chicken instead of wings one day... it not quite as good as the wings personally) We recently start adding different flavors to our normal order - we tried honey garlic and soy garlic so far and both were delicious! Ddeokbokki wasn't my favorite. The rice cake was hard and had very bitter taste to the sauce. I was a little sad about the amount of pickled radish that was in our order though, seems like they are stingy on it as time passes. Iykyk pickled radish is a must for kfc!
