Found this amazing spot while driving by Dublin. We were craving for some chicken wings and this place popped out. We were surprised to see that their chicken wings are bigger than usual. We had the original, galbi and soy garlic. All were awesome but my favorite has to be the soy garlic. Wings were completely smothered in sauce but remained crunchy! The Rose Ddeok-bokki was a perfect side dish. It was on the spicy side though so if you can't bear the heat, maybe skip it this time. Also love the Kimchi Fried Rice. Pairs well with the original-flavored chicken wings. The place was spacious, well-ventilated and tidy. I love that their water dispensers are always full of ice. Staff were fast, attentive and nice. Honestly wish they had a branch closer to home!

Service was basic online order and pick up. Kimchi fried rice 3/5, too much bell pepper bits, not enough kimchi, not enough spice. Honey Garlic 4/5. Wings were good, drums had thick coating of flour. Well cooked. I ordered 'wings' but they also gave drums. 2/5. Good type of food for to go orders. Place looks suitable for single, group, and family. Very causal.

Fried chicken! Mmm We ordered 3 flavors: golden original, honey garlic and soy garlic. All were so tasty and fried and crunchy to perfection. My fave was the honey garlic. The garlic and honey flavors were evenly distributed and not super saucy. The soy garlic was good and it didn't taste too sweet like some other places. And the golden original had a good crunch. Ordered these to go and everything came out fresh.

I didn't realize that there was a bb.q in Dublin until we stopped by on our way home. I really enjoy Korean fried chicken so of course I had to stop by to try it out. I can't remember if I've ever been to a bb.q before, but I felt like it was my first time here. It was 8pm on a Friday evening and was quite packed but there were still a good amount of tables available. The restaurant feels like I ordered two small orders of their wings since I wanted to try two different flavors - Gangnam Style (savory and sweet) and Soy Garlic (soy sauce, garlic, and honey). Both wings were delicious (saucy and crispy on the outside), but I did enjoy the Soy Garlic more since it was savory and garlicky. I thought the Gangnam tasted more medicinal, most likely because of the cinnamon I think was what the staff told me? Overall, a great spot for those who enjoy Korean fried chicken. Their pieces are decently sized too. I would like to try different wing flavors that they have and even other items in their menu.

The chicken was made to order so fresh & crispy ! We didn't like that the wings weren't tossed in the sauce but basically drizzled on. Bulgogi Japchae was hot , it didn't have mushroom more cabbage & shredded carrots pretty basic & a tad bland . Bonus - everything was hot & fresh . Don't like that you can't split flavors & you have cups for beverages. Suggestion you should have a water dispenser by your cups, they do have water for you to purchase which I think is a tad ridiculous offer your guest complimentary water. I'm sure tour guest's would truly appreciate. Your competitor brings water automatically. It could be that we're just spoiled & use to hospitality at competitor . The cashier was nice , it wasn't too busy there were a couple of tables a total of 4 & a couple of take outs . Fast & casual the interior very clean . Then we went to HMART & got desserts & WOW ! They have a bb.q Chicken in the food court ! Would we come back probable b/c it's convenient but we would rather travel the distance to eat on plates & silverware & not plastic & paper bowls .

Love how there's so much seating here, its very open and we didn't have to wait for a seat. We got the soy garlic boneless 8 piece chicken and it was so flavorful. It's got a little bit of a kick and was so tender. They give free sides of pickled radish and it goes so well with the chicken. Free gloves are given to eat with and makes the eating experience more enjoyable! Would come again!!

This was a last minute decision to have a quick lunch here. We had an appt and had to make it quick. This fast food Korean place was nice and open. Still looks new. Very visible from the street and plenty of parking. Staff were ok. We tried their Rose' pasta and small order of asst Garlic wings. So the wings were way too bready and a little fatty but good flavor. The Rose' pasta had no flavor but had a hint of spice. Ordered dinner online and food was ready by time promised. Online ordering was easy and website was easy to navigate. Restaurant was clean, shared parking lot had enough empty spaces, and an employee helped me quickly. Chicken was juicy and moist and their fries were delicious! Fried potstickers were good and not dry. I would def come back!

Had a chance to try out this place on a Saturday after lunch rush hour. I was hoping they would do a half and half sauce with 8pc because all the sauces looked interesting. But unfortunately that's a no no. We tried Rose tteokbokki 3.75/5 It's a creamy tteokbokki. A little less spicy than the regular one. But it's yummy. I would prefer the spice level to be a little higher. Secret sauce 8 wings 3.5/5 The batter crunch is amazing. The sauce is yummy but a tad too sweet to me. It has garlic, some sort of citrusy taste (orange?) and pepper. It's listed at 2 fire level but honestly we couldn't taste the spice. The chicken pieces cooked well and tasted very fresh. The pickled raddish tastes just ok, I've had much better one. I don't know if it's because the wings are so sweet that the pickled raddish tastes muted or what. Fries 4/5 These fries are so crunchy. It's one of the best fries we've ever had in the area. Overall it was very enjoyable. The service could be better. I know everything is made fresh to order. However, just to warn people, took our chicken order over 20min to arrive during non rush dining hour. So keep that in mind and don't expect a fast food order experience. Overall I would give the place a 3.75/5

Glad to see a location in the East Bay! We ordered a small order of the golden original and the soy garlic. Came out piping hot after about 15 minutes. Safe to say the quality is the same - very crispy and flavorful chicken. Comes with side of radish which is a perfect addition. Fries were super crispy. Beer themes, chicken promos on walls. bb.q Chicken has been around for 30 years in S. Korea. Not all Korean Fried Chicken are alike. Each has its unique, artisan cooking techniques. Was acknowledged by service person at counter upon my entry. Ordered. Paid. Food brought to table in 20ish minutes. Not busy. 2 big take out orders ahead of me. Offerings (Chicken): wings, boneless wings, whole chicken, combo specials, Western specials, Korean specials, drinks. Rice bowl, D-deoki-Bokki(rice cake), half & half (chicken/wings) Bites: boneless combo: 6 pieces boneless wings-gang jeong flavor, French fries, Diet Coke (14.99) -French fry-straight cut. Crispy texture, semi-soggy innards. -boneless wings had "wet" texture, sauce added after frying process. No "crispy" crunch. 2 star spicy not too spicy, had sweet & soy sauce ambiance. Innards very juicy/tender. More like a "tender" than boneless wing. Very fresh tasting from fresh refrigerated chicken, not frozen. 4.5 stars Worthy. Quality: unique boneless wings similar to "tenders". Quantity: similar to other KFC. Pricier, takes longer to prepare. *parking lanes very narrow. Use caution.

Piping hot and tasty fried chicken served in a very reasonable time frame! The French fries and onion rings were fried fresh and served so quick! I almost thought they must not have been fried fresh with how fast it came to the table. Definitely recommend for fried chicken lovers! The chicken was crispy and not dry. I usually don't get tenders because they can be dry, but the tenders here are juicy! I'll be ordering these when my friends are in town because they love fried chicken. I'm typically a bone-in gal, but I'll be getting the tenders here in the Original. Our kids wasn't a fan of the seasoning in the Original, so hope they can have a more plain flavored one for kids. A bit disappointed they ran out of the Japanese beer, but it was a busy night with others having pitches at their table too. PS., I didn't have any expectations for this place because of the 'ehh' yelp rating and I'm not that into fried chicken, but this beats all the other fried chicken spots hands down with their flavors, cooked to order, and moist and tender chicken! It may seem pricey for 8 chicken-18.99, but once you taste your food you'll realize it was a good value and the chicken was a good size too. Wishing them well in their business here! read more

As soon as I walk in, I was greeted kindly by the worker at the cash register. They were very nice and answered all my questions that I had. I was honestly under the impression that BBQ stood for Barbecue but that is not the case here. All chicken is fried. I ordered the bulgogi bowl and original chicken wings. The wait was about 25 minutes and it was me and another person waiting for food. The chicken wings were really good. They were crispy and juicy and the flavor is different than other Korean fried chicken spots (Vons & Bon Chon). I prefer this fried chicken over the 2 previously mentioned. The bulgogi bowl was disappointing. The meat was burnt and the bowl consisted of more veggies and rice and little protein. Sigh I was really really looking forward to bb.q chicken opening in Dublin. I've had it in Orange County twice and both times I wasn't impressed but I thought "maybe I just wasn't hungry enough when I ate it"... so I was excited to give it another try once it opened up in Dublin. I ordered it for delivery and the packaging was great. But the food was disappointing. I have a big Korean family, and they LOVE Korean fried chicken!! So we ordered: Original Fried Chicken Wings (8pc) Garlic Soy/Soy Garlic Chicken Wings (8pc) Spicy Original Fried Chicken Wings (8pc) Fries Onion Rings Extra pickled radish/chicken Moo The chicken flavors were underwhelming. Garlic soy was mild (can't get it spicy) and it was just boring. The Original also tasted bland but most importantly something about their batter makes it taste bitter or metallic. It was hard to eat. The spicy original was the best out of the 3 because the heat helps make it more exciting. The fries were either not salted or they just make it very bland. The onion rings... Oh No! Why?! Why does it taste like that?? The batter was not crispy and if you try to air fry it to reheat, it just turns super chewy. The onions inside is just mushy. You know what, it tastes like Burger King onion rings!! Almost exactly!! And I'm not a fan. The chicken moo/pickled radish was surprisingly too soft and too sweet. I mean I know it's supposed to be sweet and tangy, but too sweet. And the radish should be nice and crunchy!! But it's softish. Nooooo!!! I even refrigerated it overnight thinking it'll turn more firm, but again, it was disappointing. I hate saying negative things about any restaurant, normally I'd keep my mouth shut, but as a Korean American who LOVES Korean friend chicken I was sadly disappointed. The kids said they much prefer the fried chicken from Vons. "Crispy fried chicken wings - medium spicy" is their go-to and I couldn't find anything comparable to that at bb.q chicken. I still support anything and everything Korean, I just want you to know what to expect! Let me know if you have a go-to flavor at bb.q that is worth the hype. I will give it a try. read more

Ordered dumplings (super oily, just basic), fries (was good), original spicy fried chicken (too much batter and fatty, I can also tell they reused old oil) Which left a bad taste. The heat doesn't just slap you across the face; it builds a house, moves in, and brings incredible seasoning with it. The cool crunch of the coleslaw and the snap of the pickles are the only things keeping you grounded as the spices take over. By the time I wiped the last bit of secret sauce from my fingers, I realized Chikin Drip isn't just a late-night joint. It's a rite of passage. If you think you handle heat, or if you just appreciate fried chicken perfected to an absolute art form, you need to pull up to the Alvarado location. Too much food - and too heavy. This is very tender chicken but at the same time heavy enough you couldn't eat something like this every day. Small cute street cat came around for some leftovers. So, like any other reasonable people, we ordered 16 pieces of nigiri and 1.5 more rolls. At this point we over ordered because we panicked AND they charge for extra leftovers including rice. We knew they were about it and would definitely charge so we had no other option except to man vs food it in like 15 more minutes because it was such an unpleasant experience and we just wanted to leave since everyone working seemed like they wanted to go home. TLDR: servers are rude n lwk hate their jobs, sushi is actually really good tho 4/5, we were pressured to do AYCE sushi in 30 minutes
