Wow - very poor ownership and customer service, merely being carried by their food. I came here for a birthday lunch with a few friends and we were treated with one of the most poor customer service experiences. There was confusion within the staff and I witnessed the chef yelling at the cashier (Jennifer) about misunderstanding an order, the cashier did not hear my order correctly and then proceeded to blame me about it/indicating that I was lying to her, a batch of fries came out severely undercooked and they did not care, and they forgot one order which we had to remind them about. As a party we easily gave them $300+ worth of business, and they did not show one ounce of care to make sure we were accommodated. All in all, this restaurant has potential, but they are clearly not equipped to handle a semi-large party or are trained with basic customer service 101 skills. read more

Let's start with the price. 80$ for a basket of wings and a pasta is wild. And as for the chicken....... They are frying the parts of the chicken that you should normally throw away. The brown rubbery dark meat under the chicken. It's not the breast. My kids found it inedible and refused to eat it. It's counter service so nothing to really complain about there. I was really excited to try the bb.q Chicken in Dublin since I've already been to three other locations and this one is much closer than Oakland. My husband and I went yesterday and ordered the 8-piece whole chicken, expecting the same great experience we've had before. Unfortunately, we were super disappointed, the pieces we received were tiny, like the size of bone-in chicken wings or even smaller. There was barely any meat on them, and for $18.99, it definitely did not feel worth it. We left still hungry, which should never happen when ordering a whole chicken. I do want to say the staff was very friendly and helpful, no complaints there. But for the price and portion we received, it just didn't live up to what we know and love about bb.q Chicken. Oredered through their app and arrival time for pickup was 6:00 and then waited 45 min beyond the app pickup time at their restaurant for the order. The employees seemed quite disorganized and no manager seemed to be present to address the issue. I couldn't even get them to provide an estimate on when our order would be ready. Our order was simple, wings and cheese corn. I understand opening issues but the fact that no manager spoke with us or apologized is just not acceptable. Probably not giving them any more business. Their Korean chicken is the best I've ever eaten but we tried the cheese corn this time and it wasn't very good. The cheese was the wrong cheese it was cheddar and was oily and separated and got hard and wasn't creamy. In addition the chicken fried rice was inedible. It was very oily and not sure what oil they used but it had a bad aftertaste and was very salty. The cabbage Cole slaw had hardly any sauce and did t taste good at all. The wings were crunchy that won't damage your teeth like other places- it's also very big. It' has a good crunch that is consistent across all the wings. My favorite were the cheesling and galbi. My favorites are their boneless honey garlic and Gangnam sauce and the rose Tteokbokki is a must!!! Secret sauce is a no for me, too sweet a bit soggy and too much 5 spice essence that doesn't mix well w other flavors. Server recommended but my friend and I ate no more than 2 pieces. read more
