I was struggling to find a nearby place with tasty food, takeout, and good portions when I had family visit. I've seen this place driving by almost daily but never had it. I was surprised at the good service, super friendly servers, tastiness, and portion sizes. We got various items including chicken and waffles, red beans and rice, gumbo, and catfish. I've always wanted to love chicken and waffles but NEVER found a place that did the idea of it justice. This place is the nearest I've ever come to loving it. The waffles were huge, fluffy, buttery, syrupy and the accompanying chicken was huge, tender, and juicy. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure why I haven't gone back for that exact meal. Came here yesterday to FINALLY try the All you can eat shrimp. I had both the lemon pepper and the crawfish batter shrimp. The lemon pepper weren't really my style but the crawfish batter were tasty. I can't wait for crawfish to come in so i can taste them, knowing the sauce taste so good. My boyfriend had the shrimp Po-Boy and in girlfriend style i had to have a taste cause it looks good. The taste absolutely did not disappoint. (It almost made me regret getting the boiled shrimp lol.) the shrimp were perfectly crunchy and taste so FRESH. They did not skimp either.! I look forward to going back to have my own Shrimp-Poboy. read more

Partying late night? Want to go to a fine place to grub? Well Bb's is the spot to be! This is probably the smallest Bb's restaurant I have been to but despite the size, the food is just as amazing as any other location. Their food menu is very similar to all other BB's however the drink menu is a little different, but their Daiquiris are still the bomb! The parking is very small but fortunately that night it wasn't and parked right in front but I can see it being an inconvenience when it is packed. Most tables are small, so this works perfectly if you come in with a small crowd of friends so everyone can have a seat. I had their 3 lbs of crawfish with their hurricane, it was delicious. A friend of mine and I have a tradition of coming to BB's for a late night bite after a show. I think our visit on Saturday, April 30th will be our last. I arrived around 10pm, my friend a little after me. Shortly after a large party and several smaller parties came in. We sat for half an hour before we finally asked someone to get my friend a drink. We waited another thirty minutes before asking someone to take our order. I'm not sure why, but the staff was very attentive to every party that arrived after us, all of who had their food well before we did. Essentially, we had to resort to stopping a staff member and asking them anytime we needed something. We were in the restaurant for over two hours, 15 minutes of which we spent eating. We got one refill each, after asking. We saw a staff member twice. What I would have liked to have happened: 1. Apology - "we forgot about you and took care of everyone else. I know you must be hungry after sitting here for over an hour. Can I get you appetizer on the house?" 2. Ask the kitchen to attend to our order ahead of the others that were from groups who came in after us, to reduce our wait time 3. Train the staff to attend to all customers, regardless of age or ethnicity read more

This is a small quaint facility, don't come here if you have a big party and want to have a. Wet sis Jay-Z event. This ain't it. This place fits the late night vibes. Very hipster-like. Amazing frozen margaritas. The crawfish are too damn high, Betty delicious but extremely over priced. They no longer do the special anymore either. 4 stars for being delicious and what i expected. Im a regular at this location and I no longer feel safe dining in. The homeless people feel so entitled to come up to me while I'm eating asking for money where I can't even eat in peace. They constantly harass other customers and even the employees. They have a security guard that pays more attention to his phone then he does to his surroundings. I even talked to the waitress and she also does not feel safe coming into work. I enjoy the food so much that it disappoints me that I don't even want to come once the sun sets down read more

Beautiful dinners! Ordered a meal for curbside pickup. I got Shrimp and grits with garlic green beans. Husband got shrimp gumbo. Not we're flavorful, with generous portions and impressive presentation even for a to-go order. They even threw a couple of hush puppies in that we hadn't expected! The only thing of note is that I added a touch of salt to the green beans- to my taste, but everything else was exceptional. Grits cooked right, not pasty. Shrimp was delicate and deveined with just the tails on. Shrimp gumbo was a world of comfort flavors in a spoonful of southern goodness. Highly recommend! read more

Went to original location to find out its moved. Great new location with patio which accommodate more people. Ambiance usual BBs. Drinks and food still great except at this location some items no longer come with full toast just a small circle. Collard greens good flavor but all stems no greens. Also, my last meal there, they overcooked the crawfish batch, turning it all to mush. Super disappointing given how expensive crawfish are. Specifically wanted a boiled seafood experience. The waitress we had was nice but we were seated in a section with 2 families with multiple children each and my table was often neglected. The build your own seafood boil we ordered was very salty, to the point where it was hard to enjoy. We ordered a side of fries and it was the equivalent to a kids fry but for $5! I gave 2 stars because the drinks tasted good and were a good strength. Wouldn't rush to return unless it was for drinks and non boil items. Overall disappointed in this experience.
