Definately my favorite place to eat crawfish in the Katy area. The seasoning is awesome and has a good kick to it. They have been very consistent with the crawfish seasoning for some time. The crawfish size is decent right now but get there early if you want crawfish. They sold out last night so we went back today at noon and had 16lbs!!!!! I was really craving seafood. Came here because it was close to where we stay. They didn't have any crawfish since the season just ended, so I had an order of Dungeness crabs and an order of their fried oyster basket. The fried oyster basket came with a dozen oysters and side of fries for 18.99. The dungeness crab order came with 2 clusters for about $25.00. Overall, quite pricey and overcooked crabs. I would not say I am a crawfish expert, but all I can explain to you is how my crawfish was served. The seasoning on the crawfish was spicy, but that's how I like it. That is the only reason I am rating this place two stars instead of one. The crawfish size was not the best. There were a few big tails, but other than those few the rest were extremely tiny. The crawfish meat would not come out of the shell since it was soggy. It would just break into tiny pieces . Not a great place for crawfish. read more

Update: I dined in and ordered about 8 different dishes to try besides my usual gumbo. All were a major disappointment. I feel like the prices were far too high for what I got. I'll stick to my gumbo and nothing else. Which is also over priced. -- I love the gumbo. Best I've ever had. However the crawfish tastes like salt. It was Cajun seasoning dumped on top of the crawfish. I couldn't eat more than a few crawfish (that's saying a lot since I can usually down 5lbs in one sitting) I can't wait to try other items off their menu. read more

This place has great crawfish but unfortunately the crawfish is too small at this time . The service was not great and we never received our appetizer until we complained to the manager. She apologize but did not ask us how was everything else. I really like this restaurant this time of year but I will wait to come back when they hire more staff bc they are understaffed. read more

Apparently, BB's is a must try in Katy? Our server was shocked we knew nothing of the crawfish specials they have and didn't come for those. We just saw decent reviews on creole food and hit the road. The food is ok. It's not extra delicious to the point that we would make the voyage out here regularly, but it's not nasty. The Mr. had the Shrimp & Grits while I had a 1/2 poboy (it was still like a 6" sub) and a cup of shrimp gumbo. I appreciated that there was actually shrimp in there. The star of the meal was actually our appetizer. Get the Taquitos! OMG! So good. If there was anything that would make me randomly stop at a BB's, it's those. Arrived to find the business barely occupied. The service was horrible. There was a wait to get a server and a menu, and an extended wait before the server returned. I ordered the fried boudin balls. The wait for the appetizer was long. Once the fried boudin balls arrived, they were soggy and room temperature. Two plates, one being fried shrimp and the second being the redfish étouffée were ordered. There was an extremely long wait for the food. So long in fact, I decided to order a draft beer. This beer was never brought to me even with the bar only having three people who already had food and drinks. The bar was also just to the side of the table. I wait so long for the food and the beer I decided to cancel my drink. Once the two entrees arrived they were room temperature. The hush puppies were still doughy inside, the shrimp was almost cold. The only thing actually worth eating were the French fries, granted it's not that hard to fuck that up. This restaurants will be one I would not recommend and would rather refer someone to McDonald's. read more

Top notch Po'Boys, decadent desserts, and the chicken and sausage gumbo is second only to my Cajun mother-in-laws (but the best of any restaurant gumbo I've ever had). The butter cake with rum sauce and the bread pudding were both amazing. My only concern is the waitstaff could use a little more experience or a little more training. Service was a little rough. Came here with my parents for dinner on a weekday, so it was pretty empty. We had the Cajun taquitos as appetizers which was very good, I would definitely order that again and again. I had the Shrimp and grits, I found it to be too salty for my taste. My mother had the crawfish etoufee which was under salted but worked for her dietary needs. My dad had the shrimp platter which was pretty good. The bread pudding was pretty good. I had a bit of a sugar rush after I ate it but it was worth it. The place was packed and I'm a fan from other locations! First time at this location! Our waitress was so awesome she deserves 5 stars and she was injured so that showed how hard and dedicated she was to her customers and employers! Didn't care for the crawfish this time and the boiled shrimp lacked more flavor and sauce but once that was fixed the food was really enjoyable! I definitely recommend getting your shrimp extra wet. The michelada is surprisingly good but I recommend them putting ice in it! Also, you must try their butter pie or cake forgot the name it's heaven on earth and I'm not much of a sweets type of girl but definitely must try it! Enjoy people! TO MANAGER ANTHONY!!!! If I could give this place a 0 stars I would but I can't so I give you a 1.... Me and my family came to celebrate my cousins birthday (party of 9) and we got put on the waitlist at 6:45 and didn't get seated UNTIL 9:15 !!! After an hour of waiting we asked the workers if we could sit at an open table that we had seen open for a while. They had said no because of no available seats. After our three hours of waiting we finally got seated and the table that we asked for HAD BEEN OPEN !! And people that have been waiting for max 15 minutes GOT SEATED there. Then we got our food and my cousins food was just HORRIBLE!! He ordered the chicken tenders and the chicken was HARD, tasted like the seafood not even chicken AND the batter didn't even stick on to the chicken, They were nice enough to take at least that off for us. The other manager came out and apologized for this whole inconvenience but didn't offer (as a manager should) to at least take off SOMETHING from the ticket. This is my second visit here. The atmosphere is excellent, the food is seriously perfect. I ordered 3 lbs of their fresh crawfish. The flavor was soooooo good. Their curbside workers are lazy, they automatically assume you owe them a tip and they move slow. Their snow crabs are overpriced for such a small cluster. Best place for well drinks during happy hour at the bar; the bacon wrapped chicken, boudain balls, and jalapeno hushpuppies are the best. The bartenders will make an attempt to remember the returning patrons which adds to the experience. This spot is close to home and is good for eating and socializing. Arrived at restaurant, 10 minutes until someone even brought us menus. 10 more minutes before we were asked what we would like to drink. We all ordered draft beers, prices not reflected on menu but a Dos Equis on draft can't be more than 3 bucks on a Saturday at 3. Right? Wrong. $6.50 for a draft Dos Equis. I ordered small fried shrimp plate for $12.95. I was given the large fried shrimp plate for $22.95 and nothing done about it. Dining partner ordered a trio of red beans and rice, crawfish etouffe and shrimp on a skewer (for extra $5 he got 2 small shrimp). Etouffe tasted fishy, red beans and rice tasted old, as if prepped days ago. 3 beers, 3 terrible entrees, $91.80. No water and very sad service. Menu says crawfish.....3 lbs $22.95. Want butter, pay 25 cents, want seasoning, extra. Corn, extra, potato extra, sausage extra. That's extra ridiculous for 3 lbs at $22.95. Bye, Bb's. Our last trip. read more
