This company was amazing at first. I moved into my home in 2023 the ac system was older and Bo came out and did a few service calls. Then he gave me an estimate on a new Rheem 5 ton outside unit for 8,000.00 to finance with Synchrony bank. He assured me with maintenance this unit would last 25 years. He also explained that eventually I would also need to replace the inside system but it did not need it at this time. As time went on we started having issues with my inside unit. Bo came out the blower had to be replaced I paid them another 1500 to replace it. It kept happening when I asked him for an estimate to replace the inside unit he stated that I would have to replace the entire system even the outside unit he just installed less than 2 years before. When I asked for an explanation he stated they just passed a law that R-22 freon was no longer being manufactured so there was not an inside unit compatible with my outside unit. I am still making payments on the outside unit until October 2026. Bo tried to get me to install another system with him for 13,000. My husband and I could not pay that we had to go without A/C in our home for over a year. I got a couple of quotes from other A/C contractors they stated that Be Cool put to big of a unit on our home which stressed out the inside unit causing more humidity and it to run non stop breaking the blower I had them replace. They also told me the freon issue for the R-22 has been an ongoing since 2010. I got no compensation from this company for there mistake nor did they ever reach out to try and resolve the issue. I sent a request for an appointment through Rheem's dealer locator. Beau called me within 30 minutes and he was able to come to my house within an hour! This was not a critical situation, I simply wanted a preventative maintenance check on my system after getting a report from John Moore that smelled like complete BS and an attempt to rip me off. I was right about John Moore, nothing wrong with our system at all! This summer has been hot & we're not even started! I noticed that the house wasn't cooling properly on a Friday in the late afternoon. I'd heard great things about Beau on Nextdoor & decided to give him a call. I spoke with his lovely wife, Sarah,& he was here within 20 minutes of my call! He quickly found the source of our problems & was able to get it cold before bedtime. We already knew that there were some issues, but I was thankful that I was able to see & understand why. Beau told me that he could fix it (though it wouldn't be great) or replace. I had already contacted my previous ac guy from my old neighborhood & knew we would have to replace the units. (My old ac guy won't travel this far). Beau came by on Saturday or Sunday with his bid. I emailed the bid to my little brother who has friends in the business. His friends said the price was excellent & to definitely go ahead with Be Cool. My brother went a step further & asked about Beau. Although he's a relatively new business owner, he's worked in the industry for a long time. Several people knew him & not one person had anything negative to say (that's rare when speaking about a competitor). Beau & his guys replaced 2 units, all ductwork, & added an additional return. The job took under 2 days & they did a phenomenal job! He's also stopped by a couple of times to check on the temperature & systems. I'm so glad I discovered Be Cool! Beau was recommended to me by my realtor to check out the AC unit at a house we were buying. He worked with me to come out at a time that was convenient for myself and the homeowner at the time, to see what needed to be done and provide an estimate. Beau arrived on time and was quick and efficient with his evaluation. He did provide an estimate on the spot, and told me that the cost would not exceed the estimate, period. Once we decided to purchase the house and use Beau to replace our AC, I told him the day and time I needed him and his team to come replace the unit and he was able to meet my expectations. Beau's installation team was respectful and knowledgeable. They even went so far as to attach a couple of other hoses that had come disconnected (unrelated to the repair). The next day, I received follow up calls from both Beau and Sarah to see how the AC was cooling. The answer - we were FREEZING, but in a good way.
