$12.99 Breakfast on Columbus Day 2025
    Yellow R.

The Beach Diner, a breakfast and lunch place is in a strip shopping center on A1A, address 880. It is cheerful, with blue and yellow as the main wall colors. Our waitress Jojo was attentive, once she knew we were there in a back booth, which was kind of hidden. The scrambled eggs were prepared to perfection, the fruit was sweet, bacon was crispy and you had a choice of bread or a muffin. It was priced at $12.99, which was reasonable as prices are these days. The coffee was just OK, but we arrived just before they closed. The check came in a timely fashion. Will definitely return.

Amazing as always, highly recommend the lox toast special. Service on point, they are always so helpful, quick and delicious.

It's been awhile since I went out on a weekday for some brekky. I was dying for some French toast and this was a classically well done version. Nothing fancy, no fancy flavors. Just plain old French toast and I loved it. I also got some bacon, which again - classic diner bacon. Delish. Additionally, some home fries. These might have been the star of the breakfast. I think they were a little more like a hash - onions and all. The coffee was also good - and here is my only complain - a cup - not even a carafe at the table - was $3.75. Holy. Moly. (To be fair they may have included free refills - I didn't need that much coffee.) The service was absolutely wonderful! We did have a little trouble locating our waitress for the check at the end, but she was otherwise pretty present. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air before the day got too hot. Outdoor seating is great. Overall a great experience and I would definitely go back!

Location South Pinte Vedra beach-end of strip mall Atmosphere Beachy-light-pictures if dogs on wall Seating Outside patio, inside tables and booths-counter Service Immediate, very friendly Menu Early specials-before 8 am. Lots of choices-we had the two eggs with bacon-I had fruit and my husband had grits and tomatoes. I asked for extra toasted muffin and it was perfect for me. Another customer had a tuna sandwich-huge and eggs Benedict-looked so good. They buy the tomatoes from the local farmer's market- so good and fresh! Summary Local clean and friendly breakfast/ lunch place with super service and fantastic food!

Kids mini Belgian waffles and bacon

Visited here with my mom and my 5 year old daughter. Mom and I shared the eggs on the bayou and my daughter had the kids waffles and bacon. You can get a double order of the eggs on the bayou for a very small up charge! We sat outside and there were plenty of open tables when we got there even though it was Saturday. (It was busier inside) My daughter is special needs and I usually find it easier to sit outside where there's a little more freedom. The service was good, our waitress was attentive. I would visit again next time I'm in that area.

We had lunch on a Friday afternoon around noon. The restaurant was almost full, but we were quickly offered an open table. The menu is extensive, offering breakfast and lunch, as well as about ten daily special dishes. Our party of three had the grilled chicken Cobb salad, the meatloaf special, and the godfather submarine. The Cobb salad was a very large size with lettuce, tomatoes, boiled egg, bacon, and blue cheese crumbles. The godfather sub was also a nice size and very tasty. The meatloaf was also good. Service was good, and prices were reasonable.

We have eaten here several times and it is consistently excellent. We went for Sunday brunch and there was a wait. However, tables were bussed quickly and the servers did a great job handling all of the tables. The food was delicious. I had the avocado toast which was slices of avocado with pico de gallo and a drizzle of balsamic, I believe. It was so fresh and tasty and very different from other avocado toasts I have tried. Fresh fruit was very fresh and flavorful and the roast beef sandwich was basic but delicious. They use a great marbled rye bread. During the week they also make homemade soups which are definitely worth trying.

Short review... but I want to focus on just a few things... Ultimate Turkey Sandwich with Turkey breast, swiss cheese, mushrooms, onions, peppers, lettuce, tomato & mayo served hot on rye-pumpernickel served with fries. AMAZING sandwich. As good as it gets. Fries were super hot and excellent seasoning. Next... they have excellent fresh unsweet tea. The weather was hot and I needed refreshment. Did I say this tea was good?! So refreshing. Next... everyone who has served me has been extremely nice. Excellent teamwork on my refills. Oh yeah, very nice ambiance as well. Breakfast and lunch at its best.

Biscuits and sausage gravy, home fries & blueberry pancakes!

I ordered the Honey Toum Chicken, but unfortunately the chicken was a bit dry, and the pita was slightly overdone with some burnt edges. Considering the price, I felt the food fell short of my expectations. That said, I still enjoyed spending quality time with my mom and sister over good conversation. As the restaurant filled up, the noise level increased quite a bit, making it a little harder to talk. I did see a few other items I would like to try so a return visit is possible, but definitely will expect more of a food quality is needed.

Walking into the restaurant it has that welcome back feeling of being inside in a Grumpy's spot. The decor is modern farmhouse. The lollipop bouquet is the cutest and WARMEST invite into this spot. As all Grumpy's, the menu is full of American classics. My daughter and I had a short-stack. I couldn't resist adding the Roasted Turkey plate. My drink choice was hot chocolate. I knew something was OFF when I received the hot chocolate..."where's the chocolate drizzle? why does it taste like it's water based?" The waiter let me know it's the waiters choice on how it is served. *INSERT EYE ROLL* When the meal came it was easy to see the Turkey plate was MISSING items and looked like it had been sitting (I mean sitting gravy has look of non-movement). The waiter tried to COMFORT me by saying it was under a warm plate but after I questioned where were the cranberries and stuffing...she then responded with an OH! The Kitchen manager offered to bring out a different dish. Now for the pancake, at FIRST BITE my daughter says "I taste the batter" *insert the disappointed DEEP SIGH* The owner asked if he could remake our meals. Truthfully, this was the THIRD complaint so it was a big NO THANK YOU! He then offered to comp the hot chocolate and one of the meals. I boxed the turkey dinner just to get home and it to have the taste of excessive old oil. :-( smh! Not only did it make for an UNENJOYABLE outing with my daughter. It also made my hype about Grumpy's being the best place for brunch a complete LIE. I give them 1-star for being Grumpy's and 1-star for attempting to RESOLVE.
