Great food and the best place in Alaska to catch a movie!

YUM! Amazing guac here. The jalapeno poppers are ridiculous. I used to live in AK, and not live in Arizona, and I literally think about the poppers all year long until I get one. When I visit, I have to go here at least 5 times to grab some. Great cocktails too! read more

This theatre is awesome. It is an older theatre but you can order a great meal and eat it in the theatre. This is a great place for a date night or a group of friends to get together and have a fun night. read more

Bears tooth is amazing. great food, great atmosphere. All Alaskans know about it and all Alaskans go here. the chicken bomber is to die for and the fact that you can get piping hot pizza delivered to your seat RIGHT as the movie is starting. read more

So good! Great selection, quality and quantity. Their garlic cilantro fries were delicious! Really good burgers and sandwiches and local fish for fish and chips or fish tacos! If eating with kids, keep in mind that their portion sizes are large. read more

Went last night for some bites and drinks. Had the cilantro garlic fries, and they were delicious!! I would have loved some dipping option besides ketchup to kick it up a notch. Nice atmosphere with lots of food item options. We had a spinach and strawberry salad and a Bahn mi burger. Great burger done MR as requested with a sriracha aioli, jalapeños, pickled onions and cabbage... Cooked perfectly and seasoned as well. My other half ordered a special margarita and did not care for it so they offered another with no problem. read more

This place is very busy, so relax and grab a drink from the bar while you wait! We ordered the jalapeño poppers to start. They were tasty overall but they were not spicy at all. (We like spice) I ordered the southwest pasta and my boyfriend ordered the Moroccan chicken. Mine was nothing special but it filled me up. His was very tasty and interesting but I wouldn't order it again because there were a lot of interesting items on the menu. We will definitely be back to try them. It was a great value. The drinks and food are both priced fairly. We are looking forward to our next visit. read more

Love seeing movies here. Great price for tickets and the food is awesome. The Mushu Wrap is one of my favs it's definitely worth trying . Would be nice if they had some more options for vegetarians/vegans but they have a few which is a lot compared to a lot of other places in anchorage. read more

The Bear's Tooth, the Coastal Trail, Snow City Cafe, Ginger, these are 4 of the top reasons Anchorage is one of the best places to live in the USA. It plainly just doesn't get any better than this. The BT, firstly and foremostly, has the most professional, consistent, and friendly staff that you could imagine. ( And I might add, quite good looking!) Secondly, the food is creative, interesting, tasty, fresh, natural, and also good-looking! The service was great. I had the halibut which itself was good. There was not enough sauce for the rice though. The vegetables were a nice firm not overcooked texture but they were also a bit cold. I guess most people don't eat the veggies. The key lime pie was great but was a bit small. Love the beers, nice selection of microbrews. read more

I like the concept of this theatre since there is nothing quite like it where I live. Tickets are extremely affordable at $3.50/ea. There is only one theatre so be sure to check the times on their website and each movie plays once a day. Once you pay for your ticket you can order food from the counter which will be served to you to dine on during the movie. What's not to love about drinking beer, eating pizza and buffalo sticks and watching one of a flick on the big screen. While I do like all of the above, the food was much too greasy and I feel as though we didn't make the "correct" pizza selections. I thought the food at Moose Tooth (Bear Tooth's) sister restaurant was much better. read more

The food was great! I believe this is owned by the same people as Moose's Tooth... Possibly as some of the wait staff was wearing Moose's tooth shirts. The fish tacos were great with the garlic cilantro fries. My hubby had the salmon which he thoroughly enjoyed. The beer is great as well. Also the same beers from Moose's Tooth. The service was not as good as the Moose's tooth. The waitstaff was chatting in a cluster rather than taking our order or checking on us... food good, service was questionable.... read more

Bear Tooth has the best breadsticks in town! I'm not a fan of their ranch dipping sauce as it resembles the taste of blue cheese - blech, but their house sauce is quite delicious! I also ordered a personal plate of the nachos with ground beef, which was more than enough for two people. They were quite tasty with fresh jalapenos and just the right amount of melted cheese and vegetables. Yum! read more

Moose's Tooth little brother, and not as well known at least to out of towners. The Bear Tooth is great, the food is outstanding the service is outstanding. The only down fall is the long wait, but that comes from the great food and service. Highly suggest you take in a movie while you eat..can't beat watch a moving, eating and having a micro brew. My husband and I moved here recently and discovered this place on our own. I love it so much. I want to be here every day. I want everyone to know about it but I also want no one to know about it so we can keep it to ourselves! ;) People are so friendly. Our first time one woman went out of her way to explain the process to us and point us in all the right directions. Can't say enough good things about this place. Good food in a laid back atmosphere. I ordered the quesadillas and had an a drink. The price was what I expected and usual for Alaska. The portions were really big and I would recommend only half portions unless you are feeding two. read more

Fun spot for a date! Hubby and I came here for dinner and a movie during our visit to Anchorage. Fun atmosphere and reasonably priced movie. Food was pretty good - I had a California Wrap and hubby had a Hot Turkey Sandwich. Not the best meal ever but certainly enjoyable while watching a movie. Such a long wait. 45 minutes after we ordered until we got our slices of pizza and turkey sandwich for $40 with 3 non alcoholic drinks. 14 hours after being up all night from FOOD POISONING and violent Diarrhea maybe some employees need to wash their hands! might have been the weird mayo/mustard off yellow sauce went bad. It was only thing I ate on 12.23.17 as Food Poisoning does that to you. Lost my appetite. They also charge for refills on 12OZ coffee!! read more

We love this place and the Moose's Tooth. Always, there are good eats and choices topped with tasty home brews and a good choice of hard liquors, if that is what you are craving. Fantastic pizza, epic beer, in a movie theater. the bar is in the theater so you don't miss anything while getting a refill!!! one of my favorites! If you just want to watch a cheap movie, you can do that too for 3 bucks!! get in line early, its a popular place for a reason!! read more

This place is a must go. Bistro has completely different menu than the movie theatre. The food is only three to four stars. Excellent and unique atmosphere. Not only a true Alaska gem, but a truly unique and fun place the United States over. read more

Our family loves Bear Tooth. It's the only movie/eating place in Anchorage. It has all the great Moose's tooth pizzas as well as burritos etc. And, it's a plus that you can get a beer or glass of wine while you watch a good movie. If you are going on Monday night, get there early as it fills up quickly. read more

I love Bear Tooth! This quirky dinner theatre allows you to order delicious food before your movie and have it delivered right to your seat. Also, there is a beer/wine bar inside the theatre, how can you beat that! For those who prefer not to see a movie, there is a separate dining area as well as the "Grill" side which served a completely different, more upscale menu. The movies are cheap too, never more than $5 Its also one of the best places to see a concert in Anchorage, and books some decent acts from all over, which is great because a good music scene is one of the many areas in which Anchorage is lacking. read more

Beartooth is excellent. I wish I had this idea. Food is great, theatre is comfortable, movie tickets are affordable - you can "have your cake, eat it too" and watch a movie while you eat. You just have to be prepared for the long wait as this place is very popular. We need more Beartooth Theatrepubs in this world! :) read more
