I don't recommend Beasley Cleaners. They've ruined a couple of my shirts. They had nice (but fragile) mother of pearl buttons which were cracked and broken. And when I asked for a couple of other garments back before they could be serviced, they were rude and not pleasant. I would recommend this place for cheap garments that you don't mind. They are nice enough, but they "rejected" a ripped shirt that wasn't ripped when I brought it in and claimed it wasn't them, damaged a white shirt with something brown and permanent, and lost a shirt all together. I am dissatisfied with the service I received here. I came in at 9:15 am with two suits and one shirt, requesting service by 5 pm. The lady who assisted me was not friendly. She checked with someone else and agreed to return only one of my suits by 5 pm, and not the shirt. She gave me a claim tag for the other suit and shirt for 2 days later, without asking me if that date was okay. I had to ask her to change it to a day earlier, because I needed the items sooner. Other dry cleaners I do business with are friendly, smile, and ask me if the date they propose is okay with me. The claim ticket I was given did not have the price of the items on it. When I picked up my clothes, the lady tore off the receipt on the dry cleaning bag and threw it away. She then told me the price for dry cleaning the one suit and one shirt, and it was over $20! Unreasonably expensive. I asked for a printed price list, and was told NO. Rude. Hidden pricing. I will avoid this location if at all possible. Quality of the dry cleaning itself is good, thus 2 stars. Otherwise would be 1 star for unpleasant service, expensive and hidden pricing. read more

I hardly post reviews but felt so ripped off I get others would benefit from this review. This place is So expensive!!!! I paid $85 with 10% prepay discount for 2 petite dresses, a baby dress and a baby blanket. Jaw drop, the dry cleaning costs more than the clothes... $35 for 1 dress that is a mix dress, not formal. Also noticed the dissatisfied customer in front of me in line left upset. The girl at the desk had poor customer service and unprofessional. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this cleaners. read more

First of all, I never know how much they charge for each article, as the receipts do not itemize. I finally broke down and asked for a price list, and after 5 minutes of searching, the lady at the counter was finally able to print me a price sheet that has over 100 items, not very user friendly, but at least it is a good start, Armed with that information, I figured out how much of my cleaning bill should be the next time I went to pick up my dry-clean, and I was wrong - there are higher dry-clean charges for silk and linen, which I have never encountered in other cleaners. So, you pay high price, you expect high quality, WRONG. I was pretty upset to find my simple cotton shell came back on the hanger with all the wrinkles as if it had never been pressed. If I want that result, I could have hand wash it myself, and drip dry. (mind you, they charge simple shell the same price as the long sleeve shirt) And what is most irritating is their coupon policy - if there is a policy at all. We regularly received their coupon in the mail, and had been faithfully clipping the coupon. But when we present the coupon to them, they always said 'oh, it is already automatically applied'. But without the itemized bill, how would we know? My last encounter with them has caused me vowing never to go back to them ever again. I specifically asked this time if the discount is automatically applied, the attendant said no, and further said that some customers 'prefer' to have it applied at the time of pick-up. So, with that inconsistent statement, did they earn my trust as a customer? Sadly, NO. read more

I heart Beasley Cleaners. I took my wedding dress there to be cleaned and pressed (it was a sample) and they had it done in less than a week. It looked great. Their price for cleaning/pressing (maybe it was steaming?) was $98, but I brought in a coupon for $5 off, and then they only charged me $65 and said "I hope that helps you out." I'd called around and most places charge a minimum of $150 and it takes nearly a month. My dress was 100% silk as well, which usually would bump up the cost. I love them. I brought my dress there again to be cleaned after the wedding because it was an absolute wreck. There was red wine down the front and the bottom was pure black b/c we'd taken pictures outdoors and I'd had my shoes off for most of the night. It came back spotless. I was amazed. They are very reasonable for their quality of work. In my opinion, they do just as good a job as the famous Margaret's in La Jolla and Del Mar, but at about a quarter of the price. They're located right off the 5/56 split. Give them your business! They work miracles! read more

3 times I have told the staff that I didn't want creaes in my pants. All 3 times my pants came back with creases. The customer service representative didn't even have the courtesy to apologize for the mistake. She was defensive and didn't take any accountability. All she could say was that the instructions were written down. Not good enough! What I wanted was a solution to the problem. Not impressed with their services. I switched to them because their prices were a bit cheaper than my usual dry cleaners. I guess you get what you pay for. Sometimes it's better to spend a bit more money to ensure accuracy. I went to pick up my husband's suit and they give me 2 shirts, 3 pants and a suit. I paid for it and took it home. My husband told me that none of the clothes are his!! I returned and got my money back. No apologies and very very rude!!!! read more

For over 20 years we've taken our clothes to Beasley about once every other week and we've always been pleased with the quality of their work. If we've brought clothing in with any problem area, we've pointed it out and they've been able to take care of it. Presto, like new. They've always greeted us with a pleasant greeting and a smile. They're quick to make sure there isn't a long wait because they generally have more than one person tending to customers. It's always great to see Travis Beasley, who recognizes us with a pleasant greeting and a big smile. It was also great to meet his son who worked there over the summer. I always say you get what you pay for so I don't mind paying for top quality services which is what you will get here. Never had a problem. You get what you pay for. I moved to this area in August and they were down the block from me. After awhile I realized how expensive their prices are. I searched for a less expensive cleaners. I found Del Mar Cleaners - after a few months there they ruined a favorite shirt, then blamed me! (Go read that review). I have returned to Beasleys with the knowledge that you get what you pay for - if you have nice clothes, then spend the dollar or two more to have them cleaned well! I used Beasleycleaners on a regular basis for my shirts and ties. After they damaged my second tie and declined any responsibility I decided I am not the right customer for Beasleycleaners anymore. Most annoying for me was the fact that it took me four store visits and two useless phone calls to be told that the tie was already damaged when I broght it in. Most puzzling was that I was offered store credit... In all honesty, it Beasleycleaners declines all responsibility for damaging ties, why should they offer store credit? For the sake of fairness I have to say they offered to reimburse the cleaning fees for the ties and I declined and offered they keep it as disposal fee. I told the clerk: bringing laundry to the cleaner is to save time. If it takes me so many visits to finally find out they are doing what I tell my kids not to do (decline all responsibility), there is no point in bringing my laundry to a cleaner anymore. I personally valuate businesses how they are dealing with things that are not going straight. Here, Beasleycleaners gave me among the worst experiences in the past years. I asked the clerk to inform the manager about my dissatisfaction and that they can now throw away the tie. PS: a few weeks later I received a voice message from the manager to ask whether anyone has taken care of my damaged tie....obviously they have a huge communication issue within Beasleycleaners as well. read more

Beasley's is amazing! I have been going for years and the staff is incredible and always makes my entire family feel welcome. I travel extensively and have large orders each time. They are patient, thoughtful and even if a minor mistake happens they go above and beyond to make it right. I had a jacket not too long ago that the button was damaged and they were not able to match it for repair. They actually ordered the same jacket and took the buttons off of it and replaced ALL of my existing buttons! They even kept the extra for me in case we have a problem in the future. I've been a customer of Beasleys since moving to Carmel Valley 20 years ago they are professional and friendly and fast. In all these years I only had one problem, which they quickly fixed. Occassionally there will be a tough stain, which doesn't come out at first, but they will cheerfully redo the garment at no cost. They cleaned my daughter's wedding dress and did a great job.
