Stopped in on a Tuesday evening and instantly loved the vibe. Edgar behind the bar is a true artist. Tell him what you're in the mood for, leave it in his hands, and he'll craft something creative and delicious every single time. The food was also incredible. We were lucky enough to meet Chef David who brought each dish out personally. The man can cook! Can't wait to come back.

Just an update, there is a summer menu that is currently available. We had the lobster entree from this and it was an amazing, perfect pasta and tender lobster. Fully suggest making a run and trying the summer menu

It's in the neighborhood. Small and imitate restaurant, would be good for date night or small party. Park can be hard if it's busy but I came on Sunday night and it was not so I was able to park on their lot. Service was 5/5. Foie gras (5/5) Scallops (5/5) perfectly cooked Char grilled oyster (4/5 A5 wagyu (4/5) Mash potatoes + greens beans (4/5) Shaved ice espresso dessert (3/5) Overall, a solid restaurant with good food, but their dessert menu isn't all that. I would definitely come back to try their other savory dishes.

Dined in on a Sunday at 8 pm for a party of two with reservations. We were seated immediately. Upon walking in, the place feels like an old little house with a mildewy smell. Food was fabulous. Service is very friendly and tentative. We ordered: Dozen East coast oysters: very good but was not cold Bread service: bone marrow was good but some of the bread was too hard (what she said) Burgundy escargot: huge snails with delicious sauce Crab cake: great flavors Foie gras: this was accidentally given to us and we enjoyed it Half rack of lamb: lamb was cooked to perfection and the sauce was very good

I was recommended this establishment by a friend and was pleasantly impressed by my experience. Although it was raining outside, inside was romantic and cozy with French bistro music playing. There's a bar area, with tables in the front and a larger room in the back. Since it was HH, I ordered a dozen of East Coast oysters (Blue point, from Nova Scotia, and another I don't recall) they were served with a mignonette, a horseradish cream sauce, and a very good cocktail sauce. I also got the shrimp martini, mussels, and escargot to share. The oysters were buttery and plump, tasted so fresh. The shrimp martini was so delicious, jumbo briny shrimp with a tangy and creamy sauce. The escargot was buttery and succulent. If you haven't had it, it's basically like a buttery cooked oyster. The mussels were delectable, and the toast points were so good to soak up the sauce. Their heirloom tomato and burrata salad was awesome. It was served with a raspberry compote and a lemony dressing which complemented the creamy burrata. The bread service was alright. It didn't wow me, the bone marrow with blue cheese was an interesting combination but we enjoyed the bread to dip into the mussel broth. The filet was good. Although it was more on the rare side, we were able to send it back to have it cooked to medium. We also had the vanilla shaved cream for dessert. It was so creamy and the strawberry topping made it so delicious. Jeremiah and Donald were great and provided such attentive service. Will return in the future. Highly recommend!

great happy hour spot for east coast oysters, mussels, escargot and cocktail shrimp (they were large but can tell they were frozen!). also has $20 bottles! can't beat that. service was great, enjoyed the outdoor seating area. my main con would be their parking situation. there wasn't really any lines so cars parked anywhere and everywhere. we were blocked in for over 30 minutes until workers, guests moved their vehicles will be back for hh again!

The food was fantastic and so was the service. It's a small place but huge on taste. It's a must if you are in the area. Great for a date night!!

Every course of their Valentine's Day menu was so good. Service was so polite and engaging. Ambiance was laid back but elevated at the same time. Will definitely be coming back and bringing others to try it out.

Usually there's a grace period; this time, as soon. As I sat down at my metaphorical and literal…read moredining table, the ceiling opened and our dinners started raining from the sky. Just kidding LOL that didn't happen! Anyway, back to the point, sorry.. I like to mess around a little. I wasn't that hungry because I had food yesterday I ordered a kids cheeseburger burger with fries, a kids meal chicken tender with fries, a farmhouse burger, and the half chicken with biscuits. I also had the his biscus lemonade. Needless to say--well actually, quite needing to say since this is a review after all--the food was pretty good. Prices were a little crazy but it's become all to normal in this day and age. As for the food, I ordered a kids cheeseburger burger with fries , a kids meal chicken tender.. don't feel like saying all this again. As for the food, the service was pretty good I guess. The girl servers were pretty smart. The boy servers were a little less smart. Every time the guys brought food, they either stood there looking around, or attempted to place the food on top of other plates or napkins that were on the tiny table. I suggest maybe a boot/concentration program for the guys so they can concentrate a lil more. Ok, it's time for me to go. I'm gonna go to sleep after all the food. I forgot to mention what I ordered. kids cheeseburger burger with fries, a kids meal chicken tender with fries, a farmhouse burger, and the half chicken with biscuits. I also had the his biscus lemonade. The half chicken was obviously what they tried the hardest in. There were 4 types of sauce with it. They were all pretty good, but I didn't eat the chicken. The chicken tasted incredible-- so much so that I finished it completely. But I don't like eating around bones, I find it primitive. I'm more of a chicken tender kinda guy if you know what I mean. Oh yeah and for the food, I had a his biscus lemonade. It was SO good. Alright. And that is the end of my review. I hope I did t forget to list my food items because I've gotten hate messages calling me weird. Anyway, I'm out chat. Thank you to my faithful followers. Continue to look forward to my honest reviews. P.S. the beginning part was not a joke it actually happened. First free valet made it so much easy to just get dropped at the front and enjoy our dinner. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us on the list. We waited at the bar and had a some drinks and enjoyed their local oysters. They were fresh and delicious. Diego our bartender was very helpful and friendly with great conversation. We made it to the dining area and was greeted with our very friend server who also helped us with our meal selections. We went with their specialty: fried chicken. It was very crispy yet the meat was very tender. We enjoyed the various dipping sauces which were all very different but very tasty. We also had some grilled shrimp and collard greens. They were both okay. A little over seasoned for my liking but good. I loved the biscuits that came with the chicken. They were amazing. Fluffy and buttery. The place is great for date nights or hanging out with a group of friends. Pretty smart casual with plenty of seating.

It's Nextdoor to the new "Long Weekend" bar in the heights so now the parking lot is packed, but this restaurant hast ever been packed out when I've come. For starters, go for the reel fries. It's worth the calories and at this point, why are you here worried about that? For being another and covered, they don't taste overly greasy. If you're against fries, go for the boudin balls or elote ribs. 10/10 starter. For me, it's crawfish season and that's why I'm here. There's the standard flavors you'd expect but you're able to add in a tom yum flavor or Thai basil... I recommend the Thai basil, but my bestie loves tom yum. Neither are wrong but I'm always right. I can't speak on their other items because I've only been eating crawfish, but I would safely assume you're in good hands here. The vibe inside gives seafood sports bar, with big screen TV's and some college basketball banners and random football helmets as decor. If you're looking for good seafood (crawfish specifically), it's definitely a great place parking stinks now but the spot is clean, lovely and never too packed.

The ginger was not overwhelming at all and really complemented the sweetness of the blueberry toppings. I also ordered a the pork belly deviled eggs which were pretty yummy as well. My fiancé ordered the gumbo which was very savory and filled with the perfect combo of shrimp, chicken and andouille sausage. The service was good as well. It's still early so the crawfish were on the smaller side, which I expected, but the flavor was definitely there. I got 2 lbs of crawfish and the seasoning did not disappoint at all. Spicy, well coated, and full of flavor. I also got a side of red beans and rice, which was honestly a standout. Super flavorful, comforting, and one of my favorite parts of the meal. The fried pickles were another hit, perfectly crispy and a great appetizer. The atmosphere was chill and casual, perfect for grabbing a solo meal and just enjoying good seafood. Service was solid and food came out in a reasonable time. Overall, even with the crawfish being a little small (which is expected this early), the seasoning and sides made up for it. I'll definitely be back as the season goes on and the crawfish get bigger. The Boot is always a reliable spot when I'm craving good crawfish with bold flavor.

*this review is only for crawfish, not their regular menu (which is amazing) *…read more We went here during crawfish season because they've been advertising their $8/lb crawfish, and we trusted that it would be great given the quality of their regular menu. We went on a Saturday for lunch. Hopefully this was just a one-off, but if you're looking for good Cajun boiled crawfish, this is not it. We started off with 6 lbs (group of 4) of their regular crawfish. First off, they put the Cajun seasoning on outside/shell (!!), which is a cardinal sin for Cajuns. They also minimally seasoned the boil, so the meat was lacking salt and flavor. We ordered 3 more lbs with the "wet sauce" (garlic butter), thinking the lack of flavor may be attributed to this being the first-ish batch of the day. Nope, the second batch was even less seasoned than the first. The sauce was good, but it didn't make up for the unseasoned meat. The crawfish were a good size, at least... Come on guys, I expect more from a Gulf Coast seafood restaurant!
