Except for the gumbo, the food was bland. Entries are very small too. Parking is limited so we paid for valet. Went to the bathroom. You literally have to fight the crowd to get through to go to the bathroom. The jammed tables all over up against each other. Overall, the food was ok, service was good, but very pricey. Had the Prix Fixe Tour de Italy menu. Our server recommended the stuffed pepper Arrosto and Lasagna Rotolo. He was spot on. We also tried the Chicken Marsala and it was good. But the two recommendations were amazing delicious. It's what you expect when you order from a nice restaurant. Flavors exploded in my mouth. Familiar tasting, yet new. Perfectly seasoned. The rest of the meal was okay. But I want to go back to experience the pepper and lasagna again. The dessert was nice, but not a lot of flavor. Came here for a Valentine's Day dinner and absolutely adore the set up of the restaurant! The service was really great and The interior had a great vibe for a date night. We started off with the deviled eggs, which were absolutely delicious. It was tangy, but not too salty and had a nice small dollop of caviar at the top. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender inside, and paired with that rich, velvety spinach it's the kind of appetizer you think about the next day. I've been meaning to scratch this place off my list and happy I finally did. Came in for lunch and every part was amazing. The service was great as the drinks were always topped off and we never had to look for anyone. They did a great job of being attentive while not being annoying. I decided to go with their prefix lunch menu. I chose the devil eggs as the starter. Hands down the best devil eggs I've ever had, maybe it was the little dab of caviar on top. For my main dish I picked the chicken. That was the only description on the menu "chicken". The sauce it was served in was well balanced with onions, artichokes, and potatoes. The chicken itself was very tender and paired well with the sauce. For dessert, I picked a crème brûlée. No complaints as it was prepared just right. The perfect amount of sweetness to end the meal. While visiting, we ordered a bottle of wine and a variety of menu items. The French Onion Soup, Bucatini & Clams, duck duo and octopus were all great and had something different about them which made it fun to try. For the petit plateaux, the oysters were great but I did t love the items on top as they had a sauce or marinated which took away from the natural flavors. I would give this place a 3.5 out of 5 stars. Why? Let me tell you. Let's discuss the pros. Food: The food itself tasted good. My husband and I shared a half dozen oysters (all from MA). We ordered their special, the Chilean sea bass w/ lobster sauce, he said that was really good. I got the appetizer octopus and a side of mashed potatoes because I wasn't too hungry. Both dishes were delicious. The oysters were quite tasty too. Service: quick, attentive, server. No complaints here! Ambiance: it was quite busy since we came on NYE. There was a screaming baby next to us but that's not why I deducted points. The place was filled with balloons and it was very well decorated. Now the cons. Food: the portions were tiny. It was $56 for the Chilean sea bass and my husband finished it in 3 bites. Thank goodness for the mashed potatoes to help fill us up. I guess we should have known since it was French, but the price to portion ratio was waaaay off. The flavor was there, but it wasn't matching. Also, there was no side to pair with the sea bass and it was just the fish and sauce. I asked the server about the octopus and she said it was a decent size to share but I only got 3 pieces of 3-inch octopus legs. I paid $26 here I believe. I've gotten octopus at other places for $26 and it was a filling size, but this was quite small. Overall, we spent a total of $150 and some change with tax and tip included - so it is pretty pricey for the amount of food that we had. Ambiance: yes, it was cozy and vibey. But it was very crowded because the chairs were big and it was hard for my husband and I to go to and from the restroom to our table. We would ask other guests to move their chairs bc we wouldn't fit. And if there were no guests, we would just move the chairs. Now, my husband and I are quite small so if you're bigger than us, you'd probably struggle to find room to walk. It felt like a hazard when servers are bringing food to each table. But - it's worked out for them so far! Would we go back again? Probably not. It's not for me nor is it my vibe. But if you're looking for a moody date night spot with French food, this is probably for you. read more

Wish the weather had cooperated so we could have used the beautiful patio for people watching, so will have to come back for that. All three were good. The group shared dessert: creme brulee, Riz Au Lait (butterscotch mousse), and Lemon Almond Pound Cake. All three were good but the rice served under the butterscotch mousse was not for me. The service was good and dining was in close quarters with other patrons. Came to Brasserie 19 for lunch and left impressed. I ordered a virgin mojito, Caesar salad, and a side of fries. Everything was fresh and flavorful with generous portions. The service was excellent from start to finish and the staff was friendly and attentive without ever making me feel rushed. The space has a classic French brasserie vibe with a bright and lively atmosphere that works well for a mid day meal or an upscale dinner. Valet parking is available right out front, which makes getting in and out easy. This was my first visit and it definitely will not be my last. I was disappointed by my experience with this restaurant's approach to vegan dining. Before making a reservation, I called to ask what vegan options were available. The person who answered the phone told me that the only thing they could offer was a plate of vegetables. When I explained that vegan and vegetarian diners generally don't want to pay for a dinner out just to eat a plain plate of vegetables, and suggested that the restaurant consider adding a few thoughtful plant-based options in the future, the person abruptly hung up on me. I understand that not every restaurant caters to every dietary preference, but basic courtesy and customer service should still apply. With the growing number of vegan and vegetarian diners, it's disappointing to see so little effort made to accommodate them, and even more disappointing to be treated dismissively for providing constructive feedback especially in a part of town that is typically so inclusive. I love the French onion soup and the burger, the Caesar salad is a good, and the chicken sandwich never disappoints. The steak and salmon are also amazing. (I may or may not have been here more than a few times.) Their spicy margarita is excellent, and I've heard nothing but good things about the espresso martini. Brasserie 19 is part of the Chase Sapphire Reserve Restaurant Program otherwise I wouldn't frequent here. I think the restaurant and menu is probably one of the easiest picks in the program since parking is easy and you have something for everyone on the menu. Typically its very busy here, and depending when you go you may or may not need reservations. The times I have gone, its been extremely noisy esp with the bar crowd who look like regulars. It's really something watching the older guys work their way down the bar meeting every female end to end. The tables and seating is quite close together. The staff comes off like you typically see in high end hotels where you cant tell if they are being nice or somehow know you don't belong here. I like the food, although I wouldn't say its better than cheaper French restaurants. Its a nice area, very walkable, and its good thats its part of the CSR collection. The bar crowd gets a little out of control though and its noisy so if you are wanting a quite intimate dining experience this is not the place. To me this is more of where you go to see and be seen and everything else comes second. I wouldn't come other than for Chase Dining. read more

The bar was full and the vibe was loud and lively. If you want a quieter experience try going during the week. We ordered the lamb cooked (medium), steak and fries, and deviled eggs. This place is great and has a nice clean South Beach all white Miami feel! The waiters and front host are on it and sooo nice. They have a reasonably priced brunch menu and a kids meal. Mimosas and other alcoholic drinks are from 10 to 15 dollars. All of the food was soooo good! The only downfall was the extra hundred added to the bill with 20% gratuity and tax and the no split bill policy. I had the "Milk Braised Rabbit", tonight a la carte. It was served with swiss chard gratin and caper relish and it was extraordinary. I can't praise it enough. The flavor the tenderness of the rabbit meat and swiss chard gratin and caper relish added to an exceptional meal. I paired it with a glass of Far Niente Chardonnay. For Dessert I had "Vanilla Bean Creme Bru'lee' Moreover, as always, the exceptional service is the standard. I normally eat at the bar, so I have to give their Bartenders Lucio, Chris, Walter, Elisa and my man Sidney plenty of Kudos for exceptional service and just all-around class. Arrived 20min early I asked the hostess if she mind seating me at the table or I wait for my party at the bar,she guided me to our reserved table outside.. Exactly at reserved time VERY RUDE, RACIST,FULL OF ATTITUDE manager/owner came to me and told me i need to move,he need my table for another party, I need to go look for another table for one person I can't be holding a 6 people table for an hour.. I was so confused, he didn't even ask or wait for my response he walked away.. My party arrived and the hostess didn't great them when they mentioned their reservation she rolled her eyes on them and called the manager who showed them where I was seated.. We decided we don't have to spend our money where its not needed.. My daughter and I had the chicken and dear Lord Jesus ... NOT GOOD! The texture and how the chicken was cooked 10/10- nice and juicy and soft. However the taste was NOT in the room with us. It was in some type of broth with potatoes and carrots- BLAND 1000- 0/10. I was eating it but my body couldn't register what I was eating. My partner's lamb shank however was quite delicious... maybe 7/10. He had that mash potatoes- good. He got a Caesar salad as a starter. It was a good portion, nice and fresh.
