I've been getting my nails done for years and have never experienced such horrible customer service before. First a lady started my fill only to STOP mid way to fold towels and leave me sitting for 20 minutes. Then someone finally came to help me, At first she was nice then it became apparent she was talking about me to her coworkers in a different language. On top of the immature eye rolling, there was unnecessary hand slapping. I should have just walked out at that point but decided to let her finish so I can leave and go about my day. When she sent me to the nail dryer I accidentally messed up my wet polish, which sent her over the edge. I would absolutely not come back to this nail salon or suggest it to any of my friends or family. If you want quality nails and great customer service AVOID THIS NAIL SALON. read more

Nails were done ok, but I had called to make a waxing appointment as well but when I came in they said the anesthesiologist had left for the day??? It was the last day before my vacation so I didn't have time to go anywhere else and didn't get it done. Disappointing. Previous times I had waxings done there they were so brisk and pushy, not thorough, and even after asking for a touch up in a spot or two that weren't waxed well my requests were half ignored and I wound up plucking the stray left behind hairs myself... so whats the point in paying if I wind up doing the more detailed difficult work myself? Im 8 months pregnant and just wanted a basic pedicure. I sat around for 20 mins before anyone came over to turn the water on and it was ice cold. The ladies were making fun of me because my feet were a little swollen and i was very offended. I had to give it a one start because that was the only option. I went because Tracy's Nails was closed. They rushed me doing a mani/pedi in about twenty minutes, had barley any massage and my paint is already chipping one day later. Not even worth the $20 bucks. read more

Paid $50 for a manicure/full set and pedicure. I got stiletto nails and my thumbs ended up way narrower and pointed than my other fingers and I didn't nessesarily get a massage on my legs or my hands as I was told. I understand that the staff don't speak English well but when I'm asked what I want I kind of expect you to be able to understand me asking what they are so you can explain in depth what they come with considering I am paying for this expecting to be pampered, as I saw a Chocolate pedicure and asked to get that but the woman didn't understand me.. My nails are alright, some pointed more while others are curved. Of course they always ask you if you want more things and after getting a basic pedi/mani I'm not sure how it turned out to $50 when I've paid $50 and received 100% better service and I was happy with the results. I usually go to this salon to get my eyebrows wax and i didnt really like how they are always in a rush they literally take like 4 min to do your eyebrows but i didnt really care because they used to do a good job but the last twoo times was just bad about a month ago they left alot of hair so i had to finish the job my self but this last time a few days ago they got a little excited with my eyebrows and they almost left me without any when they showed me how they looked i was laying down so i didnt really get a good look at em untill i got home i saw the horrible job they had done and even if i had noticed at the salon you cant really fix that , so this is the last time ill ever go there! read more

I went to Beauty Nails for a pedicure and had a terrible experience. First of all it was very crowded (not their fault) but disorganized. I was there a few minutes before the crowd came in and immediately seated. The woman set up the foot spa for my pedicure and went away. After over ten minutes the water was cold and I looked around and noticed that some of the regulars had come in after me and were receiving pedicures (the manager greeted them by name). After another five minutes my feet were cold and I started to get out of my chair. The manager/owner saw me, asked me to please sit down and called someone to give me the pedicure. She was rushed, not pleasant, and overall it was a bad experience. I won't be returning. read more

My absolute favorite place to get my nails done. I've been to nearly every nail place around Santa Cruz but found beauty nails to be the best. I frequent often and thry know me by name. This place has gotten a lot better. A couple of years ago I found it dirty and the nail techs did not do a good job, so I stopped going. However, I decided to try them again 2 weeks ago and the nail tech that did my pedicure did a great job and was very friendly. Then I went back for a manicure with a different woman was also friendly and did a nice job. Their prices are great, but bring cash because you can't leave a tip on a credit card. they have horrible customer service. my lil seestor and i went to get a full sent with the glitter tips. they did a horrible job didnt get the entire nails covered with the gel ,my nails were not shaped right, and my nails started turning colors after a week. we went back so i could show they and they came up with a lame ass excuse oh its because you wash your hands alot ( ive NEVER had this happen to my nails in the 12 yrs ive been getting them done). i ended up having to take them off my self because they were lifting after less than a week after getting a fill.
